This place is horrible, and I would never go back if they paid me. I feel like I was robbed even though used a Groupon worth 1 appetizer, 2 entrees, and 216oz Mexican cocktails that I paid 22.00 for. When my wife, son, and I first pulled into a completely empty parking lot on a Saturday night, We all looked at each other and said, oh no, this doesn’t look good. However, we decided let just give the place a try so went on in anyway. My wife order the fajita dinner which was huge but everything in it was over cooked, the steak and shrimp were chewy and the chicken was dried out. I had the ELCHILEPORKRIBS that tasted like to meat was spoiled. It didn’t come out looking anything like to picture on the menu at all. My son got the POBLANOSRELLENOS plate which was of totally overcooked and disgusting as well. Again, none of us enjoyed our food! I had a headache and felt sick to my stomach on the drive home but luckily it subsided once I got home… The customer service was poor even though there were at least 6 to 8 employees and 5 what seemed to be family member all lounging around talking to each other. There was only one other family in the whole place. We had to get up and go find our waitress for refills of drinks and chips. Also, just as others have stated here, she was host, waitress, server, and bartender.

I gave 2 stars for 2 reasons: 1. The server/hostess/manager/busser(1 woman) is really trying to make it work. 2. She gave me coupons for free margaritas(when they get their liquor license back). Does that about sum up my visit? Should I mention it was on a Friday night? That the chips were freshly cooked, but in ancient oil. That the bar was closed? oh, I think I said that already. That the one poor woman was managing the restaurant, the hostess station, waiting on every table and bussing the tables too? I’m really glad we had a Groupon that we only paid $ 10 for. It got us 2 fajita dinners(one beef & one chicken) and a serving of cheese dip. Without the Groupon I probably would have walked out when I realized the bar was closed. Oh, I think I mentioned that already… well seriously. What’s Mexican food without a margarita?

Great food! This was our second visit. So far, we’ve had the Burrito de Cerda, Burrito de Brisket, El Chile Volcanico steak plate, and Quesadilla Cerdo. Everything has been delicious! Give this place a try.
