Not the best buffet by any means. Table tops are all chipped and peeling up(how can you clean?) The food was either cold or dried out, and we were here’s At 6 pm on a Friday . The quality used to be better, no wonder the place is empty.

Tremendous selection. Decent egg rolls & spring rolls. But there’s something really wrong with the water in this plaza. Everything has a spunky, sewage-like flavor. A gross taste. Anything cooked with water in there, instead of fried, has this awful, terrible flavor. The buffet down the street doesn’t have this taste problem, is just as cheap and the selection is smaller but fresher and more than sufficient. All you can eat is not equal to infinity or more than you can eat. 2 full plates of good stuff is better than 5 plates of gag. Remember, quality is key. If it tastes like sewage, I don’t want it just ’cause it’s cheap. Sorry.

Been going for years. Used to love it. Went with my family tonight and it was a disaster. The food was sparse, some empty, others dry and very burnt. The sauces were clotted and sticky and the food, including the meat, was cold. When we took a bite and couldn’t imagine eating it, we told the«manager» we wanted to forget we were ever there. He started yelling that we were trying to get a free(cough) «meal», and took a picture of our table, including my daughter. When she objected to him taking her picture, he ran away with the phone, and refused to delete her picture. He told us we could have $ 2 off and gave us a bill for almost $ 50. He said that we have to be wrong because the one lady he polled in the dining room liked her food. Even then, her husband came to speak with us and assured us the same had happened to him before, and agreed that the«manager» should take people seriously when they gave an issue with the food. We sat down, resigning ourselves to eat the ice cream, I mean, you can’t really screw up ice cream… and the local POLICE,(called by the«manager») approached our table. The«manager» took 2 more dollars off, at the encouragement of the police, so the hardworking and obviously annoyed officers could get back to work and leave us crazy criminals to our ice cream. Lesson? Evidently, your right to free speech is nonexistent in this establishment. We overheard a group of women complain to the same waitress we had, that the food was not good. As we were all leaving, they said they’d never be back. Godspeed, wise diners. Run fast and run far. This restaurant’s «manager» will not tolerate any feedback other than cash. Negative stars. :(

I stopped in for a carry out recently. The food was good and not greasy. I got the sweet and sour chicken with pork fried rice and egg rolls. I am picky about egg rolls but I like these. They are light and flaky with good filling. I love the rice. The chicken could have been a tad crispier. I like that they gave me a small container of sweet and sour sauce, just enough. I hate when I get 3 cups of it and most of it gets wasted. I also really like sauce. The prices are very reasonable with great $ 5 lunch specials. Friendly staff also. I stopped in twice in the next couple weeks for some General Tso’s chicken with pork fried rice and egg rolls, very good. I also tried the beef with mixed vegetables and white rice. This is becoming one of my favorite local places.

I’ve been here tons of times but it has been 7 – 8 months since I’ve been. When they first opened quality was great. everything was good. now quality has fallen off food is just average. They do have a big selection of food plus a hibachi grill. They copy the same deal as there competition down the street with Mondays and wed having lunch buffet for 5 $.cant beat that! I would recommend this place over empire just due to the fact they have a hibachi bar and the selection of buffet food is almost twice as big. the sushi is better also.

In terms of food variety, service, quality, décor… this is a standard buffet. But you really can’t beat the price — they have specials(I think it’s Monday and Wednesday) where it’s only $ 4.99. Are you kidding me?! On average, I think it’s $ 6.99 which is still a really cheap price for an all-you-can-eat buffet. For non-meat eaters, there is still a variety of veggie stuff. Some notable food selections that are better than average buffets: — BBQ pork — Pork, mushroom, onion dish — String beans(when fresh) — Lychee(nice and crisp!) — Sauce-seasoned chicken wings — I also like the mayo-honey shrimp(it’s my guilty pleasure there!)

Really pretty great for a Chinese buffet. The always have a good selection and are always replacing food on the buffet with fresh items. Even the Sushi is pretty decent for a Buffet!

Believe it or not, it’s been a really long time since I’ve walked mai legs into a buffet, particularly Chinese(sigh &GASP, le horror). Still exploring Woonsocket, I spied this tasty looking place late one evening. Since we were planning to order takeout anyway(last Friday night), I figured«what the lark!» and made a bee-line for the grub line. Despite getting there pretty late(around 8:30), there was still plenty of fresh food to go around including the sushi, hibachi and so forth. White rice was hot and tasty & seriously, I really enjoyed everything on my plate. The boneless chicken was totally not stringy or undercooked and the beef teriyaki was banging. Their beef with broccoli was pretty substantial! Also, the fact that they had cotton candy ice cream gave me the giggles. Service was alright: our server/dude looked pretty depressed to be there but it’s all good since I was totally happy enough for the both of us. Restaurant was very clean, bright and comfortable. Granted nothing made it stand out of the ordinary but the food was good and I didn’t have the urge to run screaming for fear of food poisoning. The $ 8 price tag per person was pretty flippin sweet. We’ll definitely go back.

Well I have not been back to this place since at least a year ago, if not more. We tried it twice, and each time did not have good experience so we just decided to not go back. The first time we went there, we thought that the place was great because the variety of food was good, including sushi. Service was so-so, typical of what you’d normally get from any chinese buffet place. Everything was good until I decided to use the bathroom after I ate. I saw one of their employees come out of a bathroom stall and proceeded to rinse her hands under running water but she did not use any soap. I did not get a good look of her but she was wearing the same uniform that we saw the waitresses wear, so I assume she was one of them. We told the guy behind the register as we were leaving. He apologized and promised that he would address it. Well we went back there maybe a few weeks later just for the heck of it. And of course, I had to use the bathroom again. This time yet another employee came out of one of the bathroom stalls, and she did not wash her hands at all! I do not know if she was the same one I had seen during my first visit, but at that time it did not matter. My mind was made up; I would not go back there again.

The best way I can describe this restaurant is «guilty pleasure.» Many of the entrees are simply awful, the service revolves around serving drinks and cleaning up messes, the atmosphere is generic and noisy, and the clientele is often… well, to be polite… eclectic. Yet despite all these shortcomings, this all-you-can-eat buffet has become a family favorite. While it is true there are many bad entrees(avoid the fish, shellfish and sushi), there will be something everyone in your family will enjoy. Personally, I find the Egg Rolls and Pepper Chicken to be well above average, the Beef and Broccoli to be flavorful, and the Egg Foo Young drowned in brown gravy to be surprisingly tasty. And who doesn’t like sampling a dozen or so ice cream flavors and desserts? The prices are inexpensive(and cheaper still for lunch and on slower nights) and perfect for finicky kids who can gravitate to the chicken nuggets and pizza. This will never be your favorite restaurant, but I bet you will return again.

Better than average Chinese buffet. Cleaner than most, and has a greater selection of food. Still a production line buffet, but much better value for money than its competitors.

This place is like all the rest, quantity over quality. One of the first weeks this place was open my leg was cut by one of their booths(a nail sticking out from the cushion). I went to show the manager what had happened and where it happened so they could fix the booth, the man pretended to not know English. Wont be going back there.

This is a clean, non-scary Chinese Buffet. They have all of your standard buffet fare(many chicken dishes, fried rice, lo mein, steamed veggies etc.) plus many seafood options. As a non-meat/seafood eater I stick to the basics. There are many non-meat options and I don’t feel as though I’m missing out. They can be extremely busy on a Friday or Saturday night but the food nevers tastes stale and the staff are constantly bringing new items out during the rush. The staff can be hit or miss(understandably) but I have had a few who really stood out and didn’t just bring one drink and clear plates. Overall, the food is actually good and you can’t beat the price for a quick all-you-can-eat meal.

This is your standard, mediocre Chinese buffet if you’re looking for a cheap place to eat and not dieting. The sushi was not good though, so I would skip it — fish did not taste fresh and was lukewarm. The buffet serves crab legs which are a hit, and other seafood like clams and mussels. They also have your regular dishes like beef with broccoli, pot stickers, vegetable lo mein, tilapia, chicken wings, general tso’s chicken, sauteed string beans etc. Only go if you’re looking for a cheap place to eat Chinese food, but don’t go if you’re on any kind of restrictive diet. The restaurant is clean though with friendly service.
