I just tried to place an order for curbside to go. Stephanie put me on hold twice for a very lengthy amount of time and then tried to put me on hold a third time. I hung up. Going to Papa Gino’s instead.

We were a party of 5 my wife my kid my folks and me. After we placed our order, my mom asked for some bread. The waiter looked at us as if we all had two heads and proceeded to tell us the bread was a ciabatta thing. My mom who is 89 knows not of ciabatta or anything like that. All we wanted was some bread and butter to hold us over until our food arrived. about 7 minutes later I reminded the waiter about the bread and about another 7 minutes later, he brought us two little ciabatta rolls, cut in half, and enough butter to grease a pig. The waiter said he didn’t know we wanted multiple orders of these rolls but proceeded to tell us he’d add more to the order. Order? Bread is extra, an appetizer, I have to pay for it? He never made that clear but took it off the bill. My daughter and I both ordered the a sirloin with some nut-grain thing with spinach which I thought was intriguing. When we got it, the nut-grain thing tasted funny, like dirt or mold. I said nothing and kept my comments to myself, until my daughter said the same thing. We sent both back, my kid had enough, and I ended up with a burger and very salty fries. The Manager said the dirt or moldy taste is normal. Although my burger was also comped along with the bread and the sirloin dinners as they should have been, what’s normal is I’ll never go there again. Well maybe one more time but only to see if moldy dirt is actually normal.

I ordered online and was given a time to pick up at 1:26. Well I had to wait another 12 minutes and when you have a 30 min lunch time is crucial. I ordered at 1:11 and it was just my self who ordered. I am unhappy with how it was handled. No apologies or anything of the sort.

Food was fine and prices are reasonable, but the service was horrible. A party of 15 arrived while we were waiting for our food. Our waitress was so distracted and overwhelmed that she never could finish serving us. We finally had to ask for another server so that we could actually complete our meal. There are many better options. Unfortunately, this Applebee’s has declined significantly in the last 8 months. It used to pretty nice.

I just went there with my wife. At first we thought it was going to be a good night but then the waitress came over… She approached the table with an unpleasant face(no smile). We ordered onion rings and a Pepsi w lime to start. The onion rings were great, the Pepsi didn’t have a lime(and that’s because the manager brought it to us). Then I noticed the sign that says customers get a free appetizer if the server doesn’t offer a signature sangria. When I told the manager he made an excuse that I looked young, even though that shouldn’t make a difference. The bottom line is that I am of age and it wasn’t offered to me. When the food came out, once again the waitress was not pleasant. She didn’t ask us to check our steaks(which were undercooked) or if we needed anything else. By the time someone came over to ask how our meal was going we were already 50% finished(manger included). When I told him the steaks were undercooked he finally decided to give me the coupon for the free appetizer that I had brought up 20 minutes before. Overall, the steak didn’t taste good and the service was terrible! Applebee’s on Park Ave will never see me again.

Been to this place like once a year for the past 3 years because I keep forgetting what a piece of garbage the place is. Once went in with family and my aunts fish was still frozen she received. They didnt even offer to get her another meal and pay for it they just said order something else? Many other times they have screwed up the food horrendously. I guess what do you expect from a shitty chain restaurant. Do yourself a favor and go anywhere else and support a small business that actually makes half way decent food and has good service.

Extra star just for the Worcester-specific decorations. I’ve been here a few times, regrettably, with relatives who need reliable cuisine and won’t try out our preferred local favorites. The most recent time our server ignored what we said and filled in the blanks with what she expected to hear in our orders repeatedly. There was frequent corrections necessary as she read back what she’d written down as being ordered. I had had a late lunch, so I just wanted a snack to munch on while the rest of our party ate. I was pretty unsettled by the fact that a half salad is just a dollar less than a full salad, considering the ten-dollar-price tags, and I ended up going for the pretzel sticks with beer cheese and honey-Dijon mustard dip. The beer cheese wasn’t bad, but the accumulated salt from the pretzel sticks and the existing saltiness of the dip was too much. If you were to look to the honey Dijon dip for relief, you’d find that this is the sweetest, most syrupy mustard you’ve ever encountered. I have come to loathe Applebee’s over the past several years, I guess I need to impress this upon my relatives so I can avoid this mess.

I like the atmosphere, it’s very comfortable and cozy. The service is always nice and friendly. There was this one time where I was ordering dessert and pointing to the brownie bite. Which is what I wanted, and me and the waitress had this long argument about what I really wanted. She thought I was pointing to the dessert next to it(which was 5.99) and said I couldnt eat it all by myself. I kept repeating what it said, BROWNIEBITE for 99 cents and she kept misunderstanding me saying that whatever I was pointing to wasn’t 99 cents. Anyways, that was the only annoying thing. Other times, she’s really nice but really bold… The food is generally ok, it could be better. However, my favorite dish here is the honey peppered chicken. It tastes amazing, it is a good portion and i can barely finish. Most of the time I always have to bring the rest of my food home because they give a lot to eat. I just wish the food was steaming hot.

It’s a chain so I don’t really have high expectations for Applebees, but this one is really great. The service is super nice, the food better at other places and over all just a pleasant dining experience.

Food was just like any other Applebee’s but the waitress and manager made the experience. It was lunch so it was slower and we were by the server station so the kept checking on us except when they did it was like they were sneaking up on you. Kind of shocking.

My brother and I went to this location tonight. While the service was friendly and helpful, the food/kitchen was awful. Boneless Buffalo Wings: Not every piece had sauce on it; and I don’t think one single piece was completely covered. Spinach Dip: It was brought to us ice cold(I guess they didn’t press enough buttons on the microwave). We sent it back and it was just above room temperature upon its return. It was soupy and tasted mostly of salt. The drinks were good(margaritas) and the Bartender was sweet and very apologetic about the food; but when the food it bad, it’s enough of a reason to stay away. So stay away.

Ugh… so disappointed. Go to Chili’s. Same prices better food. My bf and I went here because of the 2 for $ 20 deal they have. I got a chocolate shake that tasted like a watered down version of McDonald’s shakes. We split the spinach and artichoke dip for an appetizer. It was a creepy green-food-coloring-like color and also tasted watery. The chips and salsa that came with were good, although a lot of the chips were burned. I got the three-cheese chicken penne, which was decent, although the cheese sauce itself was watery. BF got the fiesta lime chicken, which was actually pretty decent. We split the triple chocolate meltdown for dessert. Pretty good, but not as good as the molten lava cake at Chili’s. All in all, a cheap experience.

Its close to my house so I go there sometimes. The food isnt great, the chicken seems overly processed. The prices are fairly reasonable, but for the same price you can get a better meal at other places. I usually get my meal and salad served at the same time which is kind of annoying. I have been there on several occasions where it was busy and I had my meal served but had to wait to eat because they were out of silverware. The drinks are good, and the waitresses are friendly. It seems that with meat you have only 2 options– with pink or with out pink. What happened to medium rare? Medium well? etc. Though I think the wait staff is one of its few strong points I think that the management should rethink some of its policies on facial jewelry. Just about everyone here has a lip or cheek piercing. I am not opposed to such things, but it dosent look professional when at work.
