My friends and I went to go see a band play on Frday, February 19, 2016 in the bar. There was 7 of us. We reserved at table. Asked the waitress if we could have separate check she said no. She would put them in pairs. Ordered food. The Low Mein was very salty. We ordered a beer each. As the night went on there was on;u two waitress’s on and the one we had was very busy. We had ordered 2 more beers and never received them. So we decided we would get them at the bar and just have her bring the check. Now the beers that the waitress brought us are $ 3.50 and if you go get them at the Bar it’s $ 4.00 and they try not to give you change and keep your money for there tip. One of the times my friend went to by another beer at the bar the bartender was cleaning and he told her why don’t you order from the table from the waitress. So she went to the other bartender who gave her the beer. When the waitress brings us our bill. She put ours two beers on it that we never received from her. We tried to explain to her that she never brought them over and handed her the check to correct it. She slams the check down on the table and walks away. We call her back over to the table and told her if she wants to bring us the beers then we will pay for the ones she is charging us but we went up to the bar and bought our own. She proceeds to tell us that management won’t take the beers off our tab. We asked to speak to the manager and she informs us we need to go out front and speak to them out there. We head out there and tell him our situation. He proceeds to tell us that he doesn’t understand why this waitress wouldn’t remove them from our bill. The waitress comes running out from the bar to start an argument with us accusing us that the beers were at the bar and maybe we went and got them ourselves or that she had already brought them to us and we drank them. I turned to her to tell her that I didn’t like be accused of something I wouldn’t never do. She proceeds to tell me that I look like I needed a night out. While the managers is standing there listening to this he says nothing to her. Then another customers comes out to tell the managers that the waitress should be fired for the way she just spoke to me and that she was charged for 5 My Ties and Had only one. And the other friend I was with was charge for a soda she never received and this same waitress tells her she ordered it in the beginning of the evening and she never did. This was an awful experience. I think they are running a money scam here. Cuz I saw at least two or three other people go up to her to complain about there bill.

Don’t understand the bad reviews. Been here twice. One time we had slow service but overall good service. Fresh sushi. Great hibachi. Amazing scorpion bowls. No complaints here. Would definitely recommend.

7 of us went for a birthday celebration on a Monday night. A couple of us order apps as our meal while others order meals off the menu. Mind you we also ordered a couple apps for the table that came out within 15 minutes. The apps as meals came 30 minutes before the other meals and then we were told the meals were just being started. 10 more minutes 3 meals came out 10 minutes after that the last 2. Needless to say it was an awkward meal. Food was fair, waitstaff although friendly was fair. There are better places to go with better service and better quality meals.

Absolute worst service I have ever had in my life. We were there for a birthday party and were moved after we got our first drinks because our server wanted to go home. The 2nd server showed up 30 minutes later, took 3 peoples orders and then left. After I canceled my order because of the terrible service, my food came out anyway and she literally threw it down in front of me. If you want to hate your life, go here

We have eaten here several times. That’s why it’s so difficult to write this review. In the past we have had a wonderful meal at the hibachi tables. The sushi always has been spot on. Service enjoyable. Cleanliness left something to be desired but passable. On this occasion I was willing to give a lot of leway, though with a reservation over a 45 minute wait to start the evening after doing laps in the over crowded parking lot seemed exessive. Our waitress was clearly being put in a tough position as she was forced to run from room to room in an a tempt to keep up. We had a cook that was clearly new that over cooked everything. At the end of the night our bill as was mixed with the other family at the table and in trying to figure it out instead of being apologetic the manager was anoyed twords us. Overall you could say yes it’s a one time experience but in times like this I feel you can see a restaurants true potential.. they failed.

They charge you $ 29 for Dinner all you can eat sushi and almost you get nothing! Dishes are extremely small like you feeding a baby ! Very cheap and below the standards! I would NEVER go back here again unless I wanna trash my money!

The service was great very nice welcoming and fast. The food… Let’s just says stomach is still turning ! The sushi did not taste or smell fresh at all I was gagging at the table and couldn’t even swallow it– I love sushi and eat it all the time but from this place it was horrible… Don’t go here for the food. I have had bad experiences with their food in the past so I only stuck with the sushi when it was a last resort but now I wouldn’t feed it to a starving dog. I hope I dont get food poising because I can not afford to call out of work. The drinks are to strong as well and the bartender forced my friend to buy a Mia Tia when she ordered a beer… My friend was clearly very drunk and trying not to black out. He was very nice and thought he was having fun but in reality it was irresponsible. Again don’t eat or drink here unless it is a last resort. And even then– don’t go.(The band is way to loud anyways your not missing anything)

To begin Sakura Tokyo has all you can eat sushi, this is the beginning and the end of its draw to me. Now I was initially skeptical, but they make their sushi to order and it was all just a good as any other place to get sushi here(within reason). I stuck mostly to the standard maki rolls, but it was satisfying and good the several times I have gone there.

Now that there are other hibachi places in the Worcester area, the novelty of Sakura Tokyo is wearing off. While my visits have always been few and far between, I was there recently for the first time in awhile. The décor seemed to be older, dirtier, and more worn out than the last time I was there(or maybe last time I had enough mai tais to not notice). I’ve only ever been for hibachi, so I can’t speak to the rest of the menu, but I’m never disappointed by the selection or the quality of the hibachi meals. The service is always pretty good. We made a reservation for 10 on a Tuesday night, and we practically had the place to ourselves. Next time I might recommend Kyoto, Osaka, or 7 Nana to my hibachi group.

We had reservations that were made 2 months in advance for a party of 25 to sit in the bar area. They only had 1 waitress trying to take care of all of us. We tried speaking to the manager, but all we got was an attitude. It took over 2 hours to get even the simplest of orders. The manager ended up giving us a 15% discount on our bill. When we got our food, the orders were mostly wrong and cold. Very disappointed. We will never return!

I don’t come here for the food, but the cocktails and fun(often fabulously tacky/trashy) bands? Yes, please.

Sakura Tokyo. I will keep this short and sweet. The place is Dirty and the food is horrid. Nothing makes me feel more uneasy, for some reason, than a shithole Asian Sushi joint. I hear its a good drinking spot. «All you can eat» is a draw here. Unfortunately, the place just totally turned me off. Then again, I’ve never been comfortable in a «feed bag» atmosphere.

This is my go to drinking spot after a long day at work with my coworkers. In fact, I’ve never even sat on the resteraunt side of the place. So bear that in mind when reading my review. The drinks are great. I’ve tried just about all of them here. Scorpion bowls, Mai Tais, strawberry daqiuris, lava flows… they’re all great! When I have a mixed drink, I want it to be strong enough to catch a buzz after one or two but not so strong where all you taste is alcohol, & Sakura nails that balance. Prices are fair too. Now like I said, I usually come here to drink. I have had a sushi roll or two, but I don’t feel like I can really give an honest review of the food. I’ve never had a complaint about the few times I’ve tried sushi here, though. Sakura usually has live entertainment on Friday & Saturday nights. I’ve seen Flock of Assholes here a few times, as well as a few other cover bands. Fun atmosphere, spacious dance floor. Highly recommend Sakura for a great way to end a long work week when all you wanna do is have some good drinks & rock out. :)

Good sashimi. I had the all you can eat lunch deal today and it includes sashimi for $ 19. The sashimi seems to be of a good quality, too — it is flavorful and tastes fresh. Definitely a good price. The same amount of sashimi quality fish from Whole Foods would have been more than $ 19 and I would have had to prepare it myself. The presentation is nice, too, and it’s a nice atmosphere. You can look at the fish in the aquarium while you eat. Sounds weird but it’s pretty. The service is good, too — it’s quick and they are polite with a sense of humor. The green tea is organic, which is a plus. I didn’t try the buffet except for the miso soup and california rolls, both of which were fine. Apparently that’s $ 10, which is a decent deal. It includes Korean BBQ or some kind of BBQ — there was a selection of meats and seafood to prepare. I might try it sometime. I would go often for lunch but I’m moving out of the area.

The $ 20 all you can eat sushi lunch is amazing. The fish I’ve had is always fresh and delicious. I always go for the sashimi and they bring you whatever you want. For instance, if you ask for 20 pieces of salmon, they will bring it to you no questions asked.(I make sure I finish the food of course). But a lot of other places will make you tone it down or not let you order as much. Another thing that makes sakura awesome are the servers. They have been really accommodating and really take care of you. We’re not demanding diners, but I’ve seen them bend over backwards to appease picky/testy eaters before.

If you want an affordable hibachi experience, this is a good place to go. Lots of cocktails, lots of menu options, and the staff are all nice and fun. I recommend the coconut ice cream as a sweet end to your hibachi experience.

I really swear I wrote a review for this place before??! I have been coming here for probably 10 years and have always enjoyed my meal and drinks. On a very rare occasion the service can be a bit off but for the most part I have always had really good fun waiters. The hibachi chefs are def not all the same… I would say it is a 50 – 50 chance of getting a fun really good chef. I have not came in for a regular sit down dinner but have tried some of the none hibachi apps and they all seem pretty run of the mill. I think the hibachi is fairly priced for the portions you get. I think it is next to impossible to finish your meal here! The sushi is always really good and again priced right. The waiters are really good at suggesting a new sushi for you try. They use to have an amazing ginger ice cream but for some reason don’t carry it anymore. The wait for drinks is usually a bit ridiculous but they are always so good it is worth the wait. They have live cover bands in the lounge on Friday & Saturday nights — great place to meet friends and just relax — it gets very loud and very quiet so if you are looking for a quiet lounge to have a conversation this is not the place! The parking lot gets jam packed on the weekends and sometimes you have to park in the applebees — careful a lot of times people double park and block you in!
