Everything I have tried here has been fantastic, and the prices are very reasonable. Don’t let the appearance fool you, the place might not be fancy, but the food is every bit as good as those fancy places.

The BEST sushi place in Worcester. The sushi price and quality is amazing, it has a nice homey feel and the atmosphere is very simple and local. The staff remembers you is welcoming and sweet. They delivered to my house in a snow storm, I love you, Oishi

I will begin with the disclaimer that I got their sushi delivered and I am judging the food as delivery sushi. I ordered 4 rolls: dragon maki, angel eyes, tempura maki, and chicken tempura maki. This was the first time I have ever experimented with deep fried or tempura rolls, I have previously had rolls with some tempura component added but these were entirely fried a novel concept to me but very delicious. There was a lot of overlap between the angel eyes and the tempura maki so in the future I would order one or the other. The sushi was all very good and while not quite as excellent as a high end sushi place it is delivery and it exceeded the expectations I had for it. A group of three of us placed a rather complicated order with several rolls each and different cards but they handled it smoothly. All and all an excellent experience and certainly a delivery option I will keep in mind for the future.

Was in Worcester for business and stumbled upon this spot through Unilocal. Restaurant delivered very tasty sushi for a very reasonable price. If you come here two things to know: get the yummy maki and it is byob so bring a good beer or saki. Yummy roll — mix of spicy and sweet with scallop crab tuna salmon goodness

Poor quality sushi. I wouldn’t go again as I don’t want to get sick from the poor quality fish. I’m also not sure how well they handle/maintain the fish based on what I saw in the display case and the saba that I was served. Proves again my rule: if they are not Japanese, it just won’t be good.

I love sushi here:):) they started delivering and I was very happy about it. Since there are few places do deliver, I needed to take cab to get to the place but I don’t need to take cab anymore to go eat sushi!!! So helpful. Also the people were so nice especially the delivery guy. I didn’t have enough money to give him tip but he was still smiling and said«it’s ok, don’t worry, maybe next time, ok?:)» I was sooooo impressed. He was super super nice. The rolled sushi looks good and tastes good:) I’m from Japan and I know the sushi is not as authentic here(basically in the states) as in Japan but still, I love the arrangement on their rolled sushi! They are tasty:)(My favorite is tiger eye and basically all of the chef special rolled sushi) I’ll order some again someday…

Finding a sushi place that deliver in Worcester is such a task! Who woulda thought that a big city like this would have such limited sushi delivery! In any case, they deliver here! They took my order promptly and had it delivered to my work place in under an hour. I ordered the Main Street maki and the queen maki, both were fresh and the tempura in the roll was still warm when I got it. Probably not the best sushi I’ve ever had, but it did satisfy my craving and got me thru yet another Sunday work day.

Food is amazing. Delivery is fast. The chef is very nice, the people That answer the phone are very nice. Nothing has ever been wrong. Miso soup is bland though and barely has any tofu. Avocado salad is amazing!!! The appetizers are reasonably priced but the sushi can get pretty pricy. I have this place deliver to my house every few weeks and have never has an issue. Try the autumn hand roll cucumber wrap.

We just moved to Worcester from Los Angeles. Ya, I know, who does that, right? We’ll we did, and as a result, being from the namesake state of the California roll, we found the sushi choices around town to be pretty lackluster. Don’t get me wrong, they’re not bad, but they’re just not up to the standards of the upscale sushi places available in L.A.(especially considering the prices. Oishi is one of the exceptions. Sure, there isn’t much ambiance, but the quality exceeds the price, the staff are extremely friendly, the options are creative, and best of all they deliver for next to nothing! Hopefully, this will stave off our sushi obsession in between visits to Boston.

I ordered sushi box from this place and I was satisfied with the taste but I was kind of surprised that they served the hot tea with a paper cup.

The sushi was good and the other food we order too. Small little restaurant on Franklin st, you’ll might miss at first. The friendliest or the people in there. Just a little small, if you want to eat there. We didn’t see alcohol serve there. Our water was from a bottle water in the fridge, so no refill. This places does deliver but only in Worcester. Recommendation is to order out from there or deliver.

If you like great customer service, you will LOVE this place. If you like delicious food, prepared as you ask for it, you will LOVE this place. If you like decent prices, you will LOVE this place. If you like quick delivery and pick up you will LOVE this place. If you don’t like any of these things, well I don’t know what to tell you, try Taco Bell. Oishi is really a WONDERFUL local restaurant service some top notch delicious food at decent prices and outstanding customer service. This is truly a gem in the heart of downtown and isn’t to be missed, especially if you like sushi and Japanese food. I really can’t stress enough how friendly their service is. But like I said if you don’t like quality food, outstanding service and decent prices, I can give you the address to Taco Bell, otherwise check out Oishi it’s definitely worth it!!!

Delicious sushi at very fair prices. Had the main street, tiger eye, necklace, and dragon. All 4 were satisfactory. Definitely gonna come back when the sushi craving strikes but I’m low on cash

If I could I would get Oishi sushi everyday. Very delicious! Best Sushi spot in Worcester for a reasonable price not expensive like other sushi joints in Worcester(who don’t taste as good as Oishi).

Oishi is a small hole-in-the-wall kind of place right in downtown. Despite its size, both the service and quality are outstanding. I will definitely grab sushi from here often!

I get sushi delivered from them quite often. Their delivery driver is very friendly and is always very personable. I’ve been very happy with their food too. They have some very good rolls and some very good appetizers. I haven’t had any of their entrees though I would recommend

It’s a great hole-in-the-wall type of place. Don’t expect much from the interior but it is clean, well lit, and pleasant. The staff is very friendly and experienced. The sushi is excellent for the lunch price. Definitely stop in here for a quick lunch or whatever!

Came in for dinner, I was the only person in the place. The chef was busy yapping on his cell phone so I got serenaded by him having a rather vociferous conversation for about 5 minutes. Asked for tea and ice water and was told they have no ice. As I don’t drink bottled water it was tea only for me. The tea was served in an elegant paper cup with a tea bag. Awesome. Ordered the sashimi deluxe which came with a salad. The salad was okay and had your usual premade dressing. The sashimi was 12 pieces for $ 18.95. Not a steal but not exactly great either. It came with four pieces of tuna, snapper, butterfish and salmon with a scoop of rice. The quality was mediocre as the tuna tasted as if were defrosted. Does not accept Amex. If this is what passes as good sushi in Worcester then you have my deepest condolences.
