If you are looking for high quality trees, shrubs, and perennials, this is the place! Great selection of harder to find plants. Very reasonable prices– if you want cheap hostas go to the Home Depot, but if you want fastigiate beeches, well tended firs, many varieties of rhododendrons, and amazingly unique perennials, these guys are great. I ended up spending half an hour talking with the owners at check out. Amazing place!

Very bad company to do business with. Very rude people.
Extremely hostile if you have a problem with them.

It’s a pretty small plant stand.
It’s also pretty expensive.
I could name a dozen greenhouses in the general area that are less expensive, and have more stock.
It is a lovely location, though.

And here’s a great big «meh» for Echo Brook. It’s laid out well, but everything is WAY over priced. I actually bought some starter plants for half what they were charging here for HALF the price.
Also, they didn’t have a sizable greenhouse, so I’d imagine the plants are imported. This might actually explain the price, but also counts as a second strike.

This place is awesome! They have really great people who work here and are really personable. I am a total ingénue in the garden and am trying to start my own on my small patch of earth in Worcester. I came in telling them this and was immediately introduced to Tim. He was very nice, but didn’t specialize in perennials, so he took me to Kerry in the greenhouse. Well, Kerry really was very knowledgeable about many plants in this section and hooked me up. All three of us discussed plants and the fact that I was from the South and was having a Kentucky Derby party.
I got some great plants, soil, plant food and gloves. I also really love the location because it is very close to my house. Both the inside and outside parts of the nursery are well laid out and organized. The inside was clean and welcoming. Again, the customer service at Echo Brook was amazing and they really earned my repeat business with them.
