The pizza isn’t very good. Frozen gross dough that they heat in their brick oven. Not authentic brick oven pizza or even close to it. Go to 2Ovens if you want the real deal. We won’t be back. If you’re going to charge $ 12, it should taste good.

Pizza is actually really good but don’t order a large they ALWAY make it too soggy in the middle on the large pizzas. The smalls come out perfect. The problem with this place isn’t the food(except the soggy large pizzas), it’s the price and the service. The price: a large pizza is usually ~$ 10 and a large is ~$ 20 The service: They now deliver, but I wouldn’t trust them to bring me hot food or arrive in under an hour. My most recent Paesano visit: Today I called in a take out of 2 large pizzas — I spoke with the woman for a while about how I wanted to make sure the middle of the pizzas wouldn’t be soggy. She said that I should ask for it extra crispy, I said no, I don’t want my pizza over cooked, I just don’t want a soggy center. I’ve had a lot of brick oven pizzas — a soggy center is not customary, only at Paesano. 30 minutes after calling in the order we arrived at Paesano’s. The woman I spoke to on the phone greeted us and we said we had a take out order. She checked and said she didn’t have the order. I repeated the the order to her and we were asked to sit while we waited for our order to be made. While waiting, I verified that I had called the correct phone number. When our order finally came, they charged us full price, $ 35 for two large pizzas. Which turned out to be soggy.

I came in for lunch with my brothers my brother said they have good paninis. The atmosphere was very nice when we went, it wasn’t too busy and they had wonderful Italian music playing. We sat at the bar and the waitress came right over. She was very friendly and knew what was in everything. I decided to start with a bowl of the chicken and rice soup. It only come in one size, bowl, I wish they had a cup size as well. The soup was amazing though so it didn’t matter, I ate it all. They our apps came out I ordered the arancini, I knew they wouldn’t be as good as my Nonna’s but I like to try. They were just alright, the cheese in the middle of one wasn’t melted good, and they didn’t seemed very mushy inside the crisp shell. I like mine to have more texture. They also mixed in Hamburg which I have never had in and arancini, I wouldn’t order them again. My brother ordered fried pickles, they were nice and crispy and had a very good texture to them. The flavor was nice for a fried pickle and I would order them again. I wish they had another sauce for them though. Now was time for our paninis, one brother got the grande Italiano which looked absolutely amazing, and I can’t wait to try it. The other brother ordered and buffalo chicken panini which surprised him and me when it came out and had an actual chicken cutlet on it! That also looked so good I want to try one. I had the pastrami, which is always hard for me to pass up when I see it. The bread was cooked perfect, I absolutely love paninis and they did a great job pressing it. The pastrami was very good, it tasted like it was good quality pastrami, it is something I would definitely order again. It is a great pastrami sandwich, it isn’t the best pastrami I’ve had though, that title still belongs to E.B. Flatts in East Brookfield. Overall this place was great, I would definitely go here again, and I plan on it since my brother now lives in the area. I can’t wait to try the pizza, I’m a brick oven pizza connoisseur, and the reviews are mixed. I’ll give you the truth.

I disliked this pizza, the crust tasted frozen. The toppings weren’t too bad but I won’t be back, rather go to one of the big chains

Family owned and it shows! Opened in 2013 and hopefully will be a neighborhood staple for the next many years. Adorable inside, real ingredients and you can taste the difference. The staff is so down to earth and friendly. Definitely will be back!

Have been here many times and today had the eggplant parmesan with a side of meatballs. It’s our favorite dish and the sauce is one of the best we’ve had. The reason we keep coming back is the food, the feeling of being with family and the great friends we’ve made.

We stopped in while driving by(it’s our first time here), & the pizza’s are delicious. We had The Neapolitan pizza & The Eggplant Lasagna pizza. They were both so yummy & the crust was thin just like we like it. We even have leftovers to bring home for later if it makes it.

Do not go to this place! I ate here yesterday and the food was subpar for having a brick oven. Additionally, the staff is very unfriendly and very unaccomdating.

I decided to give this place another shot after an unsatisfactory first visit a few months back. Never again. I called in an order at 8pm, and was told it’d be done in 20 minutes. I ordered a Mediterranean pizza and wings. I got there around 8:30 and my pizza was ready. Hooray! Oh wait, they forgot to put in the wings. So I sat at the bar for another 15 minutes while my order was completed. I found it interesting that I wasn’t offered a drink, or anything, you know, since I was sitting ATTHEBAR. Maybe they were busy? Nope, not even a bit. Anyway, I get my food half an hour after its supposed to be done, and the older woman(maybe the mngr) offers a weak«sorry for the wait». I get my order home to find a vey sloppy pie cut into inexplicably uneven slices, with toppings matching in unevenness, and tomatoes that should not have been served(as in the end bits with stems). The pizzas overall flavor was staggeringly unimpressive, and the crust was Dominoes caliber cardboard. I honestly have no idea how this place gets it so wrong. Stay away.

I love this place. My work is nearby and I eat here at least once a week. I usually have a pizza; Hawaiian is my fav., but their cheese and specialty pizzas are just as good.

We decided to try the cheesecake dessert pizza that am they say is a specialty. We thought it sounded great, the description said it was a cookie dough crust. There definitely wasn’t anything cookie dough about it at all. Was regular pizza crust with cheesecake spread of some kind, strawberries, and choc drizzle. It wasn’t terrible but it sounded soooo good. If this was actually one Cooke crust of some kind it would be much better.

I’ve been meaning to try this out. i was disappointed. Veggie pizza had waaaaay to much cheese(and it seemed low quality cheese because it was oily) Not even enough veggie toppings. If you’re going to make a veggie pizza, put a respectable amt of toppings on it. It’s not going to cost you that much more & your customers will be much happier. Barely any sauce. but maybe that’s just me. I like alot of sauce. Won’t be returning.

Pizza dough needs more fermentation and salt. Very, very bland. The sauce is lifeless and not seasoned much. They do not rotate the pizza in the oven enough so some of the crust may be doughy, while the rest of it may be overdone. With some tweaking, this could be really fantastic. Great espresso, though!

Was recently thinking about what could help the pizza and sauce at this place. I would suggest that the owners go to Anzio in North Grafton, and Amici Tratorria on Shrewsbury Common to get a better feel for what the Pizza and sauces should taste like. especially should have a pizza at Anzio Brick Oven. That place just cleans the floor with Paesano. Paesano has some real potential, but the food is just not quite there.

Best pies in Woosta. Good thin crust, great flavor. Try the pesto pizza with bacon.

I wish I could say positive things about Paesano’s food but every time my husband and I go we are so disappointed! I will say that the salads are decent and the staff is friendly. We keep trying because it’s so close by and convenient. The best part used to be that it was BYOB but now it’s just mediocre food and overpriced beer and wine. Brick oven is usually the best, but this pizza literally has no flavor. I probably added half a salt shaker to my pizza and it didn’t help. As much as I would love to love Paesano, I think it’s time to give up on them.

Review below me says it all — Right tools, wrong ingredients. Wood fired pizza is the best, but the pizza here is bland tasting. Very little flavor. The calzone, as you can see, was burnt to a crisp and barely edible. Main problem are the employees though. If you take that out of the oven and decide to serve it anyway, you obviously don’t care much for your customers or the product you are serving.

I am a total pizza snob and addict. I admit it. The best way to describe Paesano’s is right tools, wrong ingredients. Brick oven, wood fired pizza is where it’s at, but if your ingredients suck, they suck. The dough was undercooked and had no flavor. The sauce had no flavor. The cheese tasted more like cheddar than mozz. The pepperoni had no flavor. My hopes were sky high when I heard about this place. Very disappointed and still in search of great pizza in the worcester area.

New restaurant to Worcester that has an uplifting feel to the area! Amazing food is complemented with rich stone work through out the location. I enjoyed the bruschetta, sausage and pepper pizza, along with a cappuccino and the Nutella pizza for dessert. Its BYOB so grab your favorite bottle of wine pair with amazing pizza! Win your dates taste buds over with a Nutella pizza to end a simple evening. Had a great time, super friendly atmosphere and even have a drive through window for easy pick up! No need to worry about keeping the kids in the car! Certainly will continue to be a success, I hope they focus on having people eat in house more and arrange the dining room to maximize the space! But come one and come all to the real Italian Pizza place.

This is the best pizza in the area. Don’t hesitate. You will not be disappointed. I went in with my 2 kids. There were a few tables of people finishing up. Other than that we were the only other patrons. It was a bit confusing at first. I could not tell if if was sit down waiter service or if you order at the counter. There were a few people lingering and chatting up at the counter and I could not tell if they worked there or not. There was a menu board with some interesting sounding pizzas, but there were no descriptions of what was on the pizzas. I stood around for a few minutes waiting for someone to point me in the right direction. After no one helped me for a while I asked the guy making the pizzas if there was something that described each pie. He pointed me to the take out menu which had what I needed. Once that happened a waitress asked if we wanted take out or eat in. We decided to stay. We picked a seat close to the jukebox which was playing a very odd mix of music. One second it was Frank Sinatra and the next it was generic sounding pop music and the next it was classic rock and the next it was new age sort of stuff. the music was a bit loud, but in all fairness we were sitting at the table right next to the music so I am sure the volume was fine in the rest of the place. The waitress was very nice and interacted with my kids in a friendly manner. We ordered the garlic sauce pizza. The name is misleading as it is actually a white pizza with chicken and capers along with a garlic sauce. The name could be more descriptive. The pizza came out quickly and was absolutely delicious. The smell alone was worth the price(which for a large was $ 13 or $ 14, very reasonable). For dessert they have a Nutella pizza(small for $ 7, again very reasonable) which made my kids giggle with delight. They use the same pizza dough and cover it in Nutella(chocolate hazelnut spread for those who don’t know) and strawberries and a white chocolate drizzle. It was a perfect way to end the meal. The few things that they need to improve on are things I am chalking up to them being new. I have no doubt they will improve these things with time so I am not making them off for any of them. The people there really seem to care and want to put out the best pizza they can and on that point they succeed. When we want wood oven pizza this will be our first stop every time.
