Peruchos Pizza

Id choose anywhere else to get food from. Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. Only appreciative people in the whole place are the delivery guys. The people working the phones speak very little English which makes ordering extremely difficult. Every single time I order a salad they forget my salad dressing and their excuse is always they are too busy.

Reading the other reviews, I just don’t understand. They are always pleasant to deal with. The quality is great. We order from here every time we do pizza for the office (so 10 – 13 pies) and its always quality ingredients.
In fact, my only complaint is that it’s like Chinese food, in that you can scarf down a ton of it and be hungry again in 2 hours.
It’s not pretentious. If you’re in the mood for a more high brow pizza, go somewhere else. But for simply great Greek style pizza, they are the best in the area.

These reviewers giving these guys a low rating ought to give Peruchos another shot. I firmly believe that peoples experience is directly related to their attitude. Nothing against the others but to say the service is horrible and or anything negative about this places food is wrong! Trust me: I’m a hard critic.
Peruchos’ food is great. I’ve been ordering food from them at least 3 – 4 times a week here at my dealership. I’ve always ordered delivery so I can’t speak on their appearance and customer service at the location. However, the Colombian guy who comes to deliver the food most of the time, is a stand up, humble, and all around a nice guy. He makes small talk and jokes with us and we love when he comes by to deliver food. He appears to enjoy his job and always has a smile on his face. Good for him!
Now for the food… I’ve been ordering food here for months. I’ve tried a lot of their food. Their wings, their chicken fingers, their pizzas, their subs hot and cold, breadsticks, and on and on. Their food is fantastic. I haven’t had one bad thing from them. Their pizzas are delicious. The crust is nice and crispy and the toppings are always the right amounts never overflowing and falling apart.
The wings and chicken fingers are a MUST on every order we place. Simply perfect. I very rarely like to eat chicken fingers because most of the time they are overly breaded and dry. It’s the complete opposite here. Not overly breaded and nice and juicy. Impressive! I often try to convince people to get «bone in» wings but that’s not necessary here at Peruchos!
The breadsticks… My oh my. We get a free order of breadsticks with an order over $ 20 from a coupon on their menu. Can I just say: their breadsticks are so good that we try to order more than $ 20 worth of food every time just so we can get the breadsticks! It’s like a mini pizza with cheese and no sauce. It’s very tasty and looks like they put pesto on it. Delish!
The sandwiches and subs are on par with a lot of other sub shops. Nothing spectacular here but also nothing bad. If you ask them to customize a sandwich for you they will gladly do it which is another reason they get 5 stars.
The other reason I give them all the stars is because they are very attentive when it comes to special orders. Something as little as remembering to bring a plate or a salt packet makes a huge difference. What I’m trying to say is that I can always count on them getting the order right.
Bottom line customer service is always a part of the experience. The service I’ve received so far is everytime I call they know what address it is and always get our order right. The people that come to deliver are always gentle and polite. We have no qualms with Peruchos, in fact we recommend them to everyone!

Used to order from here all the time, and I feel the place has gone down in the last 2 or so years. Service appears to get worse and worse every time I call or go in. Food quality has also worsened. I have started to order from here less and less, and I must say I think I have had my last meal with them.

This place is horrible. Every time we order something is wrong. Tried to call and was put on hold, then hung up on. When I finally called back they were rude and did nothing to make the order right. I guess they got their money so they don’t care. Rude people, bad service, long wait for delivery and then order is always wrong. Will not ever go here again

Food is good but the service is horrible. I’ve been coming here for over 2 years. They know me. Every time they see me it’s like I’m a stranger. They are very mean.
On top of this, they tried to charge me 25 extra cents for what I ordered and looked at me like I was the bad guy for telling about it. After arguing for 5 minutes they sold for price that was on menu.
If you don’t care about customer service go ahead. Have at it. I’ve had enough. I won’t be back!!!

I’ve been going to Peruchos for the last 5 years as it’s by my house and my work. I’ve steadily noticed the quality and service go down, while the prices keep going up!
So I stopped going to Peruchos all around about a year ago, because their quality was getting worse. Today in a desperate attempt to get a pastrami sandwich I gave in and gave them 1 more chance. Ordered for delivery. My usual pastrami sub. Toasted. It took about 30 minutes which isn’t terrible but of course when it got here. The sub was colder than the brutal winter we had this year. My coworkers food was also sub par. They’ve lost my business forever as of today and I would recommend avoiding it so you can skip out on the disappointment for you and your love ones.
Also I only gave it a 1 star review because I couldn’t give it a 0. Just to clear that up.
On a side note I think may have gotten food poisoning from this meal. I’ll keep you posted.

I’ve had much better from the freezer at the grocery store.

My cousin and her family came over one day and we decided to order from Peruchos. Usually I like their subs and their pizza is decent. However my cousin and I both ordered Eggplant Parmesan subs, hers with extra sauce. They came to us dry, barely any sauce on them. A parm sub of ANY kind (Eggplant, meatball, etc.) in my opinion should be DRIPPING with sauce.
I usually get their Italian grinders, which are awesome because they actually have REAL Italian meats on them (Mortadella, Capicola, Salami) instead of ham, bologna, and whatever else other sub shops put on them. This, it seems, may be their only saving grace with me and their food.

I just had a pizza that resembled a pizza right out of the grocery freezer. Flat dry and cheap on the ingredients.
Something has changed because I used to enjoy their pizza as one of my favs. I will not return. Such a shame

they use all tricks such as never have change for. delivery secondly the sauce and cheese portions are never enough making you pay then for extra bad service overall, there are 5 pizza places on the same street

I’ve only had one thing, the chicken caesar wrap, but it was so good that I was craving it all the next week and couldn’t wait to go back. The place has as much ambiance as a fast food place, because its attached to a minimart, but if you are just looking for lunch that may not be a priority.
The one downside is that both times I went it was painfully slow, like 15 minutes for a sandwich and they had to keep asking me to repeat my order, as if it wasn’t written down. If you have an hour lunch break, it’s totally worth it, but for half an hour, I’d be worried.

It’s a pizza place, deli, and now a variety store. The food is good. The prices are reasonable. I like it. Some other reviewer gave this place 1 star because they supposedly told him they did not deliver to his house. That seems unfair to give a place 1 star without even going to the place or trying the food. Personally, I like the owner and employees because they are nice, respectful, and seem to take pride in their place. Nothing pretentious about it. Just a good solid pizza joint and deli.

I was excited to see all the good reviews, as I have yet to find a favorite local pizza delivery. Sadly, it seems I must keep looking.
To be clear, I was unable to try the food as they refused to deliver to us. No, we are not out of range (we are ridiculously close, in fact), nor on an unmarked or private road, nor in some otherwise off-​limits area; the problem is that their map apparently does not list our street’s name. I understand the difficulties, but other businesses have made the effort to work it out.
Not only did they not even attempt to get directions, but they refused to act on mine despite acknowledging the proximity and confirming that they knew the landmark I was talking about that is right at the foot of my street. At one point, they even (seemingly annoyed) asked «How do your neighbors get their deliveries?»
Despite this, I gave them one last chance, stating flat-​out that I had heard good things and was looking for a new regular pizza place that we would order from frequently, but they simply said again that there was nothing they could do.
Had any sort of effort (practical, conciliatory, or otherwise) been made, I probably would have written the whole thing off and we wouldn’t be reading about it; but I was so floored by the irritated attitude and unfortunate failings of customer service, reviewing it was necessary. Being so unwilling to invest a few minutes into establishing a long-​term customer relationship was lose-​lose; I’m still out a delivery place and they lost a likely loyal customer in exchange for a bad Unilocal review.

I only have ordered the large Buffalo Chicken pizza, excuse my language but it is F***ing DELICIOUS!!! (and I am not one to use caps lock lightly). Best around, no doubt. I like it with no sauce and extra cheese for +$ 1. The crust is very very tasty, as is the sauce, and buff chick.
It’s $ 12 w/​o the extra cheese — very good price and delivery is free.
They will deliver from Worcester to me here in North Grafton and they’re consistently a 30 minute delivery time — Impessive.
Peruchos I love you. If you order from here you will not regret it.
Only downfall (and it’s minor) is it’s sort of hard to spot if you’re picking up/​eating there. Keep your eye open for the White Hen Pantry sign at the intersection of Blithewood Ave. and Grafton St., across the street from where Adam and Eve’s used to be. It’s now a Compustar.

Not good. The only thing they do better than other local pizza places is customer service, but the food was unimpressive.

#33 on the Worcester Pizza Quest
Peruchos Pizza is next on the Worcester Pizza Quest. I made the call for a large cheese pizza a very friendly and happy woman answered phone. After hanging up I got good feeling about this place.
Driving down Grafton street I had a hard time finding the restaurant and drove by it. It is located in the same building with the big White Hen Pantry sign. This is a typical New England pizza restaurant but it is clean. The woman at the counter was very welcoming and happy to see me.
With the box open right away it can be seen this is a bready Greek style pizza. The pizza had plenty of cheese and had sweet aroma. The sauces had a sweetness but not over whelming sweetness. For a Greek style pizza this was a tad better than most. Greek pizza is not something I truly enjoy. My usual ratings of an average Greek style pizza would land a two star rating but the great service and pizza flavor did add to my rating.

For some reason, the Grafton St neighborhood is lacking in home grown restaurants. Almost everything is a chain store which is good as far as basing your meal on the availability of coupons. Thankfully, Peruchos is fighting this trend.
Its a perfect little take out pizza place. I’ve ordered from here several times and the pizza is that perfect take-​out pizza. Sure, it may not be some crazy original recipe that blends stuff like African spices with strands of Big League Chew into some trademark taste. But this is good, quality pizza. Its the type of stuff that you could make your own Pizza The Hut out of.
The prices are wicked good too. Often times they have some special that cuts a buck or two off the already low prices.
If I had to think of a negative, it would be that the dining area is just a couple of chairs and tables– no ambience. But this is a take out place. If you’re taking your date out for a fancy dinner and bring her to a take out place, chances are you won’t be getting laid.

THIS IS THE BEST PIZZA PLACE IN WORCESTER!! I order from here all the time and the food is always fresh. They always know what I want and offer me things I might need like a beverage or they always suggest a special to get me a better deal. Great tasting food. Whenever I have guests over I order a large bbq crispy chicken pizza, and let’s just say its a crowd pleaser and I always end up having to bring one if I go to a gathering because its Sooo good. I love Peruchos and recommend everyone trys their delicious food… oh and by the way, they deliver ;)
