I attended an evening event recently at a local church and I was both surprised and delighted by the quality of the food provided by Garden Fresh. Everything was — fresh. The sandwiches were very flavorful and had a nice paper wrapper on them. The salads made me want to go back for seconds. They also provided a nice selection of drinks. I order lunches for meetings at UMass and will be using these guys rather than ordering from the exorbitant Sodexo or Panera. Thank you!

See also my review of courthouse café as it is the same staff(sans sweet potato fries). But this location is open until 8pm instead of 4pm like the other one. It is located in a hospital but don’t let that deter you, their food is very good!

Hidden gem inside St V’s hospital! It’s close to work so I usually walk. All the food is fresh and there are so many healthy options which I love. Great little spot. I would recommend the buffalo grilled chicken wrap and the hummus! Win win.

Excellent wraps. Pretty reasonable prices for downtown. However, I hear its illegal to tack on an extra charge for credit/debit card users. Just sayin’.

This is a wonderful option for family members while their loved ones are in St. Vincent Hospital. They serve a variety of soups(Microwaved), salads and sandwiches/wraps. It was tasty and came out in a timely manner. The staff is cheerful and friendly. Only wish the prices were a little cheaper because if your loved one has an extended stay the price of the meals can add up.

Grabbed a turkey and bacon sandwich for lunch while waiting for a friend who had an appointment at the hospital. Sandwich was good-plenty of meat and nice, fresh vegetables. Counter help was efficient and nice.

located in the ground floor of the Worcester Medical Center. I think the sandwiches taste great, real Boars Head meats. They aren’t overly large but are reasonably priced. The staff is always friendly and does seem to know their regulars quite well. Plenty of seating in the atrium to enjoy your meal. As for the complaint about being cash only. there are plenty of places that don’t take plastic.

Food is expensive. They charge you 75 cents for using a credit card They put out a tip jar which I find innapropriate. They charge extra if you want an extra dressing. I did, because 90% of their dressing is oil. Their meatballs are out of a bag, and not fresh. .

Staffs are extremely nice and knows their regulars. Sandwiches are made to order. Favorite is their steak and cheese combo. The meatball is ok and chicken parmesan and buffalo chicken are a healthier version since they are not fried like other places. Another favorite is their vegetarian hummus and tabbouleh. Sandwiches are around $ 4 – 6. Grilled chicken salad is also great and they also give you half a pita bread. They can make any salads into sandwiches and you have your choice of wrap or sub. They do also have whole wheat wraps as an option.
