I bought a groupon for this place and the day I was going to meet my friend there I went online to check customer reviews. To be honest the reviews almost scared me away, but i wasn’t willing to throw away the groupon money without giving it a shot. All I have to say is you guys need to give it a second chance. This is weird, but I actually never went inside so i can’t attest to the décor but my friend who got there first said it was more bar than restaurant. When i got there she had asked the waitress to set up an outdoor table(not my favorite thing, but okay…) We were literally sitting in their parking area… again a little weird but not entirely unpleasant. So here are the bad things… might be fatal flaws to some, but not to me. Their parking is inadequate. I was told they are knocking down a building out back to provide more parking and the current front parking lot will allow for more outdoor seating. The name is a bit misleading as the menu now leans heavily Italian, but apparently the restaurant was originally more of a steak and chop kind of place. Our waitress was young and said she had just started working there, but more than accommodating and believe me, my friend has more dining quirks than anyone I know. She smiled and did everything that was asked of her and more. Now to the most important part, the food. I ordered a drink which was a good size and actually tasted of liquor, not something watered down. We ordered potato skins and the bruschetta. The potato skins were a bit different as they were made with mozzarella, but that’s okay with me. I love mozzarella. The bruschetta was oversized and delicious. My friend ordered the 8oz. burger(too big for me) and she raved about it. I didn’t taste it because she eats her meat nearly raw and I prefer my beef not to be mooing, but it looked delicious from my side of the table. I ended up ordering a caesar salad and honestly it might be the best one I ever had. I don’t like a dry salad but neither do i like it drowning in salad dressing. This was perfect. I was going to forego dessert but decided to try their cannoli. When the cannoli came out it was TWO big cannollis. The filling was not traditional. My friend and I couldn’t quite decide what flavor the filling was. I voted for an orange liqueur, my friend said almond. Maybe it was both, but they were delicious. This is clearly a local joint, not fancy from anything I could see. A patron came out and was talking to me and told me he works in the neighborhood and everything he has eaten there has been good. He did allude to some mismanagement in the past but told me there is a new chef who has a stake in the place and that things have greatly improved. I forgot the new chef’s name(first name Louis) but among other places he once worked for Mama Leone’s in NYC, a place that was beloved by many until they closed. in my opinion he clearly knows his way around the kitchen. I would hate to see them fail because of the people who had the spot before. As I said, it is not a fancy place(most of the people going in and out while we were there were clearly blue collar workers), but isn’t the food what really matters?

This restaurant is closed try to go there last night The place is completely empty. When you call nobody answers however they are recording still gives you the days and times they’re open but apparently that is wrong. If you have the Groupon you can get a refund.

I was traveling for business and due to a lovely gps error ended up here for dinner. I was a bit taken aback when I walked in. However it was way better than the first impression. Yes the décor is out of date, however they told me they are closing for renovations shortly. The food was very good, mostly Italian type dishes. Since the chef was new they were working out the menu but the bartender/waitress offered lots of guidance. Very reasonable prices and large serving sizes. It does seem like a more«local» type place, however the staff and other patrons were warm and welcoming. I will eat here again when I am back in town.

This place is dark, dingy, and dirty! Menu is limited. Burgers were small under cooked and lacked flavor. Save your money and skip this dive. Even with a Groupon it’s not worth the price.

We recently visited for dinner. Wings tasted like they were cooked the day before and refrigerated. Breading on the chichen parm was burnt and leather like. The pasta looked and tasted like it came out of a can. Will not be back, for sure! If I could, I would give it no stars.

Well… The opening of the door reminded me going back to a pub and not coming back.(Poor décor) The menu stated a «fusion«of east and west. Very limited menu. Thought it was going to be a steak house, but it was just American pub/bar food more than anything. Appetizer platter looked like something out of a Chinese restaurant as it came out on pu pu platter. It was a fried appetizer that left little to talk about. The pre made fried foods that accompanied it were dull. But the food was hot. Main course option of scallops was limited to half an order. Gyros was my wife’s dinner and was not hot, but flavorful. The scallops(four if them) were hot. 6:00 showed a very sparse crowd. Very small parking doesn’t help as there is either street parking or behind the restaurant. They do have a dessert menu but we won’t be doing that option. Well, needless to say i was not impressed and shall not return

Even with a gift certificate paying half the bill I have to say this was quite then let down. The food took nearly an hour to get to us and we where one of TWO tables eating. There sass one guy singing jazz standards, and while he had an excellent voice the whole experience was off putting with some other person coming in to sing from the bar. It was like karaōke night. At 7. As for the food, my wife ordered lobster bake with mashed potatoes and got French fries, even though the waitress said she knew it was mashed potatoes but the«chef» said to just go with French fries and see if it was ok. The lobster was nearly burnt. I had a bland fish and chips and a warm beer.

I’ve only been here once on a Saturday night It was so much fun. The sound system is well adjusted with perfect bass. Nice crowd and a great Dj spinning great tunes. Never eaten here so my review doesn’t cover meals.

Such a weird place. Décor is awful. Owner is deluded thinking he can have an «Italian Steak House» for lunch and dinner and then make it into a club at night. Food is pretty bad although I’m ok with the pizza. It’s always empty and even then, it took 15 minutes to get a drink at the bar when I was 1 of 2 ppl there.

Unilocal 57 So… There has been a MAJOR change down at the olé Grille 57… Chef Randy. Randy is a Chinese Chef by trade, but is equally adept at more traditional Western dishes as well, thus a new fusion concept, East Meets West. The cuisine has to be tasted to be believed. Randy’s Chinese dishes are the best I have had here in the city and unlike most of the typical fare. The dishes are very flavorful and not heavy or greasy as most others tend to be. They are all made fresh to order and typically prepped only just before the meal run and not just dragged out of the freezer. The Chicken Fingers are lightly battered and contain large pieces of chicken. The Beef Teriyaki are succulent and very tasty. The Fried Rice, again, is clean and light and packed with flavor. The portions are also very robust. Order a traditional Pu Pu Platter and be prepared to leave with leftovers. Now, let’s talk about the Western dishes. The Filet Mignon and the New York Sirloin Strip are nice thick cuts, lightly seasoned and grilled to perfection. This past weekend for Valentine’s Day there were several specialty dishes to include a Stuffed London Broil and a Baked Sole Newburgh. I am incredibly impressed with the menu that Randy has created and I look forward to visiting often. Thank you Grille 57.

Was in here recently with family and had a great experience! There seems to be a new chef who specializes in Asian cuisine. Everything we ordered was fresh and tasty and the staff was friendly and professional. Would definitely recommend trying some of their great new menu items!

I don’t even know where to begin with this place. 1 star is too much. Walking in is like walking back to the early 90’s; a time that was not flattering for anyone and, much like this place, should not be revisited. I have heard it compared to Grand Theft Auto: Vice City. My comparison — I expect to see Delta Burke drinking sadly alone in a corner. The atmosphere is dark, sad, and dirty. The bathroom, filthy! There are a couple of friendly bartenders, but overall the employees are rude and the staff is clearly clueless about events. Drinks are over-priced, and if they serve food here, I don’t even want to find out what it is like. I didn’t want to go here in the first place, and I will NEVER come back! With so many amazing bars and restaurants in Worcester, I suppose there have to be a few losers. I will recommend any other dank, nasty dive over Grille 57.

I ordered a rare filet mignon rare. I received a well done piece of meat. The manager would not even come and speak to me I had to go over to where she was sitting with her shoes off !!! I politely asked if she would adjust the bill she literally yelled at me and said no i’ll give you another steak. I said I didn’t have time because I had tickets for a show and she said well you eat that one then. I was beside myself and returned the entire plate because that was the only way for me to get a refund. I only went there because I had a gift cert from I will never return.

Went in having never heard of the place. Seemed very dirty and we were the only ones there. This may be a hopping place at night but not the best for a late lunch. Food tasted like something I could make at home. Not worth the 16+ for a chicken penne dish. The chicken used was very fatty too. I also ordered a sweet potato sizzler app. It was nothing more than premade sweet potato fries with cheese and bacon mush on top. The bacon was not too tasty either and some was under cooked. Sorry, I hate to give bad reviews but hopefully honesty will help bring the quality level up.

If I could give this place negative stars, I would. An embarrassment to the resturant industry. Really, go someplace else.

I could not give this place three stars for my meal, in that case, my chicken stuffed with beans and tomato sauce would only earn a ½ star. Really, I should have known better, but if a restaurant presents a dish, it needs to taste good and well-put together. This just seemed odd. Honestly, I looked at the chicken and was sickened. Also, the chicken was really dry and the filling was okay. The only saving grace of that meal was the sweet potato fries. It was seriously disgusting. However, my husband and brother-in-law, who both had dishes with red meat, loved their meals. The potato skins were decent but the bruschetta was more pizza-ish than bruschetta-ish. The service was fine and I felt bad because I had one too many drinks and laughed at the waitress when she asked if I wanted to take my chicken home(although it was terrible!). Really, we only came here because we had gift certificate from . I won’t be returning.

Oh man, this place is so awful, I’ll just provide a numerated list. You can string together the accompanying paragraphs on your own. 1. Empty on a Friday night. Not always a bad thing, but we quickly figured out why. 2. Easy listening music. Gross. 3. Fried Mac and Cheese appetizer was frozen – not *cold*, but *frozen* – in the middle. 4. The solution to the frozen Mac and Cheese was to apologize, then take in the pieces we hadn’t bitten into and refry these same pieces, which came back burnt and weirdly chewy on the outside. 5. The clam chowder had a lot of bacon in it, no potatoes. .. and grit. I did not finish it. 6. The oyster crackers served with the clam chowder were stale. 7. Then we waited for a long-ass time for our entrees to come out. 8. The Linguine Puttanesca was made with canned black olives, jarred green olives, rubbery scallops, mushy pasta and was oversalted. Like WAY oversalted. I oversalt everything, but even I thought it was inedible. I heard a rumor that there were tomatoes in there, but instead there was what I assume to be tomato juice? 9. Oh yeah, and they forgot to serve the garlic bread with the pasta. 10. And by the way, that garlic bread had too much garlic & Kraft shakey cheese on it to eat. 11. The Hazelnut-Encrusted chicken had no hazelnuts in it, but some almond slivers sprinkled atop. The menu did say almonds, but given the name I kinda figured it was a typo. The Frangelico cream sauce was overly sweet and just plain gross. The chicken was rubbery, overcooked and way too thick. They neglected to remove the gristle as well. 12. Also, the menu pointed out in THREEPLACES that they only use boneless Perdue chicken breasts. You know, like the ones you buy at Sam’s Club. 13. The dessert menu notified us that the cheesecake was Cheesecake Factory cheesecake. Which seemed weird to point out at a restaurant that was decidedly not the Cheesecake Factory. 14. This one could be taken as a positive, I guess, but the waitress forgot to charge us the $ 5 to add scallops to the Puttanesca. No discount was taken on the refurbished Mac and Cheese, of which we were only able to eat 3⁄5 because they didn’t replace the two on our appetizer plates. 15. Just found out that the menu on their website prompts you to run an .exe file. I would advise against running that file. In short, you couldn’t pay me to eat here again. I told the waitress I was recovering from anorexia to avoid complaining too fervently about the food.
