J&J Pizza Express

I was a satisfied J J Pizza customer for many years. Never a problem. Food was good to great most of the time, especially the House Pizza.
These past couple of years 3 out of 5 times the food is not as ordered, delivered much later than promised and many times the dough and ingredients were barely cooked. The last time I ordered a simple pizza with three ingredients and the dough was raw and the cheese was so thick it ran over the sides and the whole thing was inedible.
We ended up taking it back and the owner argued about the obvious looks of it rather than just apologizing and giving us our money back. Totally unprofessional. They lost two good customers and anyone whom asks us about J J Pizza Express.

I ordered a sub and an order of fries and the largest buffalo wings size that they had. My friend enjoyed the sub. However, the buffalo wings were a disaster. They were undercooked and I ended up getting sick the next morning. The fries were good, but the wings were gross. I feel awful even writing this review because I’ve been going to JJ’s since I was in high school, so coming back was disappointing. At least the delivery guy was nice.

This place is great! Never had a problem here at all with service or food. Everyone who works there is very nice an well mannered. The food tastes excellent and it is done in a timely manner! Delivery is great too, they say half hour and it is on time. Delivery drivers are very polite. This is why i give it a 5 star rating!

I’ve known the new owner Eduardo from many years back from another location he owned, when I came across the information he was the new owner of JJ I had to stop by to try it out.
The Brazilian Pizza was amazing as well as the fresh –not frozen– wings !!!

Ordered a pizza for delivery and they told me 35 minutes. After an hour I called and they said it was just headed out. Another hour and a half later I called back and they claimed nobody was at our house and nobody answers the phone, I had no missed calls or heard anyone at the door.
They agreed to send a new pizza, after giving directions multiple times (I got the phone calls this time), the delivery driver never got out of the car and was rude. My pizza tasted like they just threw it back in the oven. Overcooked and looked like if had been sitting for a while.
They didn’t try to make things right and the pizza was not good… Not going back again.

I recently moved to Worcester from the South Shore where i have been spoiled with a wide variety of great pizza delivery joints. I’ve tried quite a few others here and J&J is by far the best. The first time I ordered i had requested extra sour cream for the taco pizza (which was awesome btw). When the driver arrived, he had just received a call from the store telling him he forgot the sour cream and was going to go back to get it! I told him not to worry but low and behold, he showed up 5 minutes later with the sour cream. Thats the kind of customer service that is rare, especially with pizza delivery. Since then, we have ordered several times (usually pizza) and it has been delicious each time. Oh, and did you know they sell fried dough?! But not just regular fried dough. A whole box of little magical nuggets of fried dough! Looking forward to trying salads and meals there next.

Delivery driver was prompt and on time. Courteous and respectful.
Now to why a 1 star rating. I ordered chicken parm and the plate was inedible. I literally took one bite into the soft limp chicken and spit the food back out and had to throw out the entire plate.

Like many other Worcester residents this weekend I received a JJ’s Pizza menu stuffed into my mail box. I’ve driven by the place many times and read the reviews so I figured I would give it a try. THIS PLACE IS DISGUSTING. I will say it again. THIS PLACE IS DISGUSTING. I ordered two pizzas and a large chicken finger. The baked potato pizza was edible, but not great. The bottom of the pie was covered in a thick layer of flour which gave the pizza an extremely dry feel and taste. My large supreme pizza was a greasy mess, but again the bottom was covered with a boatload of flour which soaked up the grease and made a sort of greasy paste on the bottom of the pizza. My chicken fingers were terrible. Some how JJ’s managed to burn the outside of the chicken finger while leaving the middle completely raw. I’m guessing the oil has not been changed in many days. Hopefully my family won’t get sick. Do yourselves a favor and don’t eat this «food.» Golden Pizza down the street is much better, come to think about it I can’t think of a place worse.

Just love this place! The food is always hot (except the salads), savory, and bountiful. And the range of offerings is truly commendable. I love the new menu, the pizza was really good. One of the best in the area hand down. Keep up the good work.

Hands down best fish tips plate i ever had! Absolutely love all of the menu :) and its a plus that they are open till late! Love it.

Great food, delivered still steaming & with fresh ingredients! The portions were huge & prices reasonable. They’ve got an extensive menu-​looking forward to trying the falafel next time.

Best pizza in Worcester. Fast delivery — no matter what the weather brings! My order is always on point and no mistakes. Super friendly staff and they are open until 2 am! What more could you ask for?!

I love JJs! They are very quick with deliverys and the food is always good! They also have very polite delivery drivers. I always give a big tip!

We have both eaten in and taken out.
Wen we eat in we are treat like royalty from the owner. Our Man Up group from the Dream Center went late one night. We took the whole place over. We had so many pies and sodas it was fantastic. The owner came over took our group picture for his wall.
The pizzas were well cooked with top of the line ingredients. The crust was light and buttery and not greasy!
If your looking for carry out. they usually have great deals like 5 $ large cheese and 6 $roni…call and ask… we get ours well done and it perfecto!
Try it… you will like it!

Pizza is good and the owner is really friendly. I have only had delivery — never eaten there. And they deliver late night — until 2 am — which is always a plus.

Typical heavy greasy cheap pizza with not-​so fresh ingredients. The only good thing is that they’re open until 2 or 3 and deliver, it’s one of the few places that will deliver to Worcester that late at night.
