If I was reviewing just the food I would give them four stars, but the poor delivery service knocks them down. We have been ordering from them for years without a problem, but in the past few months it has drastically declined. Twice in the past month it has taken almost an hour for our food to arrive, cold and needing to be reheated each time. Road runner, if the delivery service does not improve we will need to find a new pizza place.

Food is usually pretty decent. Prices aren’t too bad. Their barbecue chicken pizza usually spot on. Got a Greek pizza a month ago and found a fingernail in it. Last time I am ever going there. The food is pretty decent though if you can get passed the fingernail thing… I can’t.

This place is gross and the customer service is horrible. I ordered a grilled chicken salad one time and it tasted and looked like they threw left over grilled chicken scraps(that had the WEIRDEST seasoning) on top of a garden salad… I couldn’t even eat it. But the last time that I called for a delivery the guy that answered was SO rude! He asked for my address and I told him twice what it was and then he said«ok, but where is it near? What’s around it?» I live on one of THE most popular streets in worcester. To have to give this guy directions was ridiculous. Do they not use a gps or a map?! He was yelling over me and I got so annoyed that I said«forget it» and hung up on him. I’ll never order from here again.

The pizza was excellent. The environment was mediocre. It is down in the basement with doors open, allowing a few flies in. The person taking the order was not particularly outgoing. The vinyl seat in the booth was torn. I would still go there again because the pizza was excellent and the price was great.

I would leave them one star if the site was not hiding one star reviews into not recommended. I used to come to this place quite often, while always being discouraged by their lack of friendlines. I always felt I was not welcome there. No one greets you, the guy at the register never makes an eye contact and clearly should not be in service business. I asked him for napkins he pointed his finger towards the wall. I wanted to ask a question about menue but decided against it. Attitude and demeanor are very unpleasant. Prices for this quality of food could have been lower. Most irritating were his comments about my dog tight up OUTSIDE. «Make sure he does not attack any one» is barely an appropriate comment towards a dog who never barks and whom kids run from half a block radius come to greet. I decided to make sure of that by never giving them my business again.

Fast delivery as their name suggests, but the food is just okay. Sometimes they barely cook the food to get it to you in less than $ 20 minutes. It is nice to find a place to deliver when it is late at night. Mozzarella sticks are one of the best things here that we have tried so far on the days they take the time to heat them up. Subs are pretty good, but very inconsistent. Some days over cooked, others barely toasted and cold. Pizza was not good, wouldn’t order it again, but calzones are actually quite good.

#24 on the Worcester Pizza Quest It was a Friday night and in the mood for pizza let’s look at the list. Road Runner Pizza – Images of the Wiley Coyote pop into mind. Let’s hope that smart Road Runner was a relative and we get to enjoy a wonderful pizza. Gave them a call and a pleasant-sounding person answered the phone. They asked me if I could hold, I agreed. Quickly they were back on the phone asking for my order. I asked for a large half mushroom half cheese pizza and a small order of fries. They said number 23, then said bye and hung up. I was unable to pick up the pizza pie but the person that did said it looked clean, they treated her ok, and they were busy. First thing I opened was the fries. We laughed the box containing the fries had plenty of space. Actually the white sheet of paper they placed in the box took up more space then the fries. Road Runner pizza is very skimpy with their fries. It looked like a small order of fries from McDonald’s, sad. Coming from a pizza parlor this was a first. Maybe they did us a favor because the fries were not very tasty. Popped open the pizza box and right away you see the bread style pizza the staple of unimaginative pizza places. Through this search we are finding way to many pizza parlors are like this. The pizza had the correct amount of cheese and mushrooms. The mushrooms were canned. The pizza had a weak pizza smell to it. Once you take a bite you notice the correct amount of cheese but the sauce is weak and not flavorful. The crust was dry and not chewy. For a Greek bread style pizza this is below average. As one person posted if your drunk and anything would do this pizza would do. Unless you live right beside this parlor I would suggest finding another Pizza joint. If this Road Runner was being chased by Mr. Wiley Coyote then that Coyote would have spit him out and looked for a lizard to eat. (I understand that people place emotions when they visit a restaurant a lot. But in my reviews rely on how I felt about a place and on the tastiness of the food. Nostalgia has no factor in my reviews. I treat each review as a first time visit and the impact that was placed on me when visited.)

I am the first person to review Road Runner?! AWESOME! So, I went to udnergrad in Worcester and Road Runner was a definite staple after you’ve been drinking all night. Picture it: Worcester, 2000. You’re me, you’re 20 and you’re hungry. You’re also low on ciggs and Ben and Jerry’s and it’s 2am. Who do you call? Road Runner. 15 – 20 minutes later they arrive– with the greasiest pizza you’ve ever seen and ciggs and ice cream to boot. Ah, satisfaction. I certainly would not advise going here if you want a decent pizza– but if you happen to be drunk and hungry in the middle of the night, definitely give them a call.

If you’ve been up late baked, you’ve probably called road runner. It gets the job done, but your pretty much guaranteed the shits the next day. Regular pizza menu, nothing special, but don’t go for the bbq or buffalo chicken, way too greasy.
