Avoid at all costs!!!
I thought I was getting a good deal and ignored all the warning signs (missed appointments for the estimate, forgot to discuss the deposit, complained my bank takes too long to clear a check, etc.) Now I need to hire another company to rip out the faulty work and repave my entire driveway. The peastone was not embedded as intended, the topcoat is extremely rough and pitted, there is a huge ridge down the middle of the driveway, and the end is all torn up from a plow. I called almost every day for a month before I got Brian Kniskern’s attention with an email. He blamed me for my choice of finish and failed to follow through with any resolution because the stone was not under warranty. That is a poor excuse for failing entirely to achieve the agreed installation! Worst customer service experience I’ve had in a long time. Very unprofessional.

This was the worst service I have ever experienced. Brian Kniskern/​Sealrite Asphalt left my house in such a mess I had to hire another contractor to finish and clean up his shoddy workmanship. I paid in full because he just had to return to do some concrete clean up with his power washer BUT he never returned and after 25 – 30 calls and emails over the span of a week I know he is never returning to finish the job. He never returned even one call and the one email he sent he stated he wasn’t in the business of upsetting or screwing his customers and would return the next day. He never returned or called or emailed again and I am upset and screwed because he took my money and didn’t finish the job. He took advantage of a senior citizen and I have no recourse other than a bad review. I noticed afterwards that he has an «F» rating under the Better Business Bureau and I really wished I checked him out beforehand. If I could give him no stars I would.
