Food is wicked good and drinks are great. Prices are a little on the upper scale of thing for a burger joint but the food is good. Still the prices are a little high. Didn’t stop me from going again though because the food was good. I like food!

I NEVER get sick of The Fix! LOVE the endless combination of make-your-own-burgers and the beer selection is da bomb.

Good and bad here at The Fix. The Enzo was delicious, and the added sour cream and onion dip for my homemade chips was addictive. How can you go wrong with chips and beer? Well, actually you can… They only served canned beer, that is mostly weirdly named micro-brews, in warm glasses. Ugh. Our server also forgot to put in a kids meal with made things a bit precarious. I would also recommend the music they play not be a compilation of swear words put to a melody. There were several kids there that noticed. Yikes!

This was my first time here and I completely loved it. My boyfriend is a HUGE burger fan and he built his own burger(an option in which he really enjoyed being able to do). I had the veggie burger and it was yummy! The food came out in a very timely manner. Our waitress, Kara, was PHENOMENAL. I would completely recommend asking for her. Great conversation with her and so personable. I already want to be her friend. I couldn’t have asked for better customer service. 10⁄10 I will definitely come back again.

Went in and got the Kobe burger and ordered it medium. Unfortunately when I got the burger it was well done, had to send it back but they were very polite about it and they got my order right right away! Loved the burger, very juicy

To be honest, I was a little let down. The Mac and cheese app was bland. The app sampler was weak. The pretzels were okay, but the honey mustard tasted jarred. The chicken wings were dry. The«Tator tots» were just okay. Fried pickles were good, but the same as everyone else’s. My burger was really good. I had one with pork belly on it. There was a great beer selection. But overall, I didn’t feel like I had a good value for what I ate. Would I go back? Maybe. Nothing was truly bad. I would just focus on the burger, and not try to make it a social event, because the other foods just weren’t good enough.

Went last night and sat outside in the beautiful weather. Our waitress had a lot of rapport, was attentive and had a great attitude, even when we asked to create our own drink. The food pace was perfect. I got the pfife burger, the most delicious burger I’ve had in the east coast! I actually finished the whole thing in one sitting, which is rare. My boyfriend was also impressed that they had traditional poutine, which he can only find going towards Maine to snowboard. They were very delicious. I loved reading through the menu to see all the creatively constructed burger choices. I recommend this place 100% and will be coming back!

Went last night before a comedy show for a quick bite. Quoted a 25 minute wait, we waited more like an hour for a table. Asked the manager after 45 minutes and she told me there were a bunch of parties ahead of us, in kind of an annoyed tone. It’s not like I asked after 26 minutes. We gave them almost double the quote time until I asked! Anyway, other than that it was good! Canned beer, which is weird. But the bud lights were only $ 4 for a larger can which I feel is reasonable. Slow at the bar. Server at the table was quick, our order was pretty fast coming out of the kitchen and everything was cooked right. I had the classic burger with fried pickles and a fried egg. Yum! My bun did fall apart so I had to use my fork. Fries were nice and salty. My husband got the Enzo? I think. Chicken sandwich with some Italian stuff(I forget what). He enjoyed it. Prices were good! 4 adults had burgers and it was $ 50(we paid for beers at the bar). I’d go back more if we lived closer!

A burger bar sourcing custom and local burger grinds? A seared foie gras burger with a customizable Old Fashioned? The Fix ingratiates itself with my inner hipster, and it’s the exact sort of spot Worcester has been lacking, but deserving for years! Here’s the story: The Fix comes to you courtesy of the same group that brought you Bocado Tapas Bar and The Citizen Wine Bar. While the other restaurants are generally good and above average, The Fix’s uniqueness separates itself as the most unique culinary effort of the bunch. I started with the poutine for an appetizer, and while it was admirable to include the Québécois dish in the menu, it just doesn’t come anywhere near the glory of the poutine you’d find across the border, especially at a restaurant like Poutine La Banquise(this is a common critique of poutine served in the US). For good poutine in Boston, Deep Ellum or the Beehive are way better options. That said, a burger joint should be primarily judged on its burgers– not its poutine or salad. For a city like Worcester, the prices of The Fix’s burgers don’t come cheap. Thankfully, the restaurant’s abundance of options and customizability and the sheer quality of its food(this is not McDonalds, folks!) ensure that you’re getting your money’s worth in good food. I can personally recommend the Spartan Burger, which features a delicious lamb patty that was cooked perfectly. In general, all of my friends’ burgers were cooked to perfection(be it medium rare or well-done). I’d also recommend the burger specials, which offer seasonal ingredients. If you’re not adverse to feeling extra full after your meal, definitely opt for the onion rings! The service was solid, considering how full the restaurant was. It’s perfect for families, groups of friends, and people of all ages for ordinary and special occasions. Be sure to make reservations in advance, though, as this restaurant does fill up during evenings. The Fix is THE spot to eat burgers in Worcester. Hopefully, local restaurants and gastropubs take note, as more places like this are necessary for the growth of the culinary scene in the city… and for phasing out the frozen beef patty atrocity!

I’ve been back a few times since my previous review, and I’m finally ready to add that 4th star. The servers don’t ask the«pink or no pink» question any more, thank goodness, and twice now I’ve gotten the level of «doneness» I’ve asked for, so that’s awesome. [side note, is doneness a real word? Even if it is, it probably shouldn’t be…] I’ve also had a milkshake now, which was amazing. Good service and no waiting… if you make a reservation(which I highly recommend, even mid-week, even for a party of 2). The only thing that’s missing from a 5( Unilocal) stars experience is burger manageability. Every type of burger seems to fall apart after bite #2. They transform into a delicious sloppy mess reminiscent of baby back ribs. So unless you are an «eat-your-burger-with-utensils» sorta person, maybe the Fix is not the best choice for that first date experience(unless you’re also a «let’s-get-messy-right-off-the-bat» sorta person)… no judgement.

The fried pickles are good. Perfectly crunchy. The pretzel bites seemed to be over cooked. They were really tough and kind of dry. The mustard was good and pretty spicy. My boyfriend said his burger was just okay. The macaroni and cheese was alright. It could have used more cheese. It was kind of flavorless, which was surprising because the menu claims there is truffle oil. The staff was really friendly and attentive.

The burgers were cooked perfectly and quite delicious, but were unfortunately served cold, as were the onion rings. The French fries were hot & fresh — I suspect the burgers & rings were plated well before the fries. The toppings seemed to be fresh from the fridge, which is fine BUT contributed to the temperature of the final dish. All in all, a decent place! Though I wish my burger had been above room temperature and that I could have heard our server without shouting.

I met a couple of friends here for lunch. We sat at a table in the bar area. Our server was decent-could have been more attentive but was friendly and we didn’t feel rushed. I had a couple Woo’s(Budweiser with a shot of Jameson) and the bacon bleu burger. The burger was cooked slightly more than I asked for, but was very good overall.

I loved this place! I loved it so much I want to go back this weekend! My husband and I stopped in for lunch on Sunday and were very thrilled with the menu, the service, the atmosphere and the food. I made my own burger with fried pickles(YES!!!) gouda, honey mustard. My hubsband ordered the Fenomenal special offer that he was totally happy with as well. The fries were crispy and delicious and the shake was spot on with flavor and texture. I really truly loved this place and I will be back.

Lemme just say my husband and step kids were way more impressed than I was. I ordered a salad and French 75 sans syrup. Loved the cocktail! Salad was okay. I will say that I can’t stand when half the table’s order comes out and the rest of us had to wait. My step son also didn’t dig his vanilla shake. Still, my husband loved The Evil Elf beer and everyone(that ordered one) liked their burgers I think I’d definitely do cocktails and skip the food. That’s just me.

The green chili burger… they had me at habanero cheddar. It wasn’t all that spicy, but at medium well it was juicy and delicious! The drinks were also great; my wife had the French 75 which was light and citrusy, I had one of the rotating beers on tap. Loved the casual atmosphere. They lose points for bringing out half the table’s order a few minutes before the other half, and my son claims that his milkshake was more like chilled milk than an ice cream shake, but I’ll definitely be back!

Pros: 1. build your own burgers 2. Lots of options so everyone will find something they like 3. Milkshakes, especially the spiked ones, are delicious! Cons: 1. The place is small, we made a reservation for a Saturday night, but they were turning people away without reservations. 2. The burger I had was definitely not as good as everyone raves about. Not the best I’ve ever had. I had the grass fed meat and it actually tasted a little. Funny… Maybe I just wasn’t used to it but I didn’t love it. 3. They rushed us even after we asked to wait to order and needed some more time with the menu. The service was not warm, the waitress seemed like she had somewhere better to be and wasn’t necessarily rude but just did not have the typical outgoing server personality. I hate feeling rushed when I’m spending my hard-earned money to have a nice experience out to eat. We were in and out in 30 – 40 minutes even after trying to slow the process down. Our food came out at lightening speed. Overall, we will probably be back. I’ll try a different burger and definitely get one of their milkshakes again. Maybe we will go on a less busy night so we won’t feel rushed.

Started with the chips and dip app. It was great! They give free refills on the chips. My husband and I both had burgers-they were cooked to perfection and tasted amazing. These were possibly the best burgers we’ve ever had. They have local beers on tap and create your own old fashions! The service was fast and great-even on a busy Friday night. I definitely recommend going here! This is going to be one of our regulars now…

This was our first visit to the Fix. We had a reservation and was seated immediately. We were given the worst table in the the restaurant.(The one in the middle right up against the pole, under the 3 air conditioner blowers.) My wife was shivering. It took about 10 minutes for someone to notice us at one of their tables, and as soon as she came over we asked to be moved. We were immediately moved to upstairs and reassigned to a new server. My wife ordered some pretzel appetizers. They came about in about 10 – 15 minutes. My first bite was SOSALTY that I wasn’t going to eat anymore. My wife had actually started picking the salt off the pretzel(she was more stubborn.) Fortunately the server came and asked us how it was, and if they ask, we have to answer right? So we told her. She took them away, and about 5 – 6 minutes later brought out a replacement. The replacements still had salt, but definitely were an improvement. My wife continued to pick the salt off, but I ate them as is. I ordered the special Burger. I really don’t remember what it was, and it had no taste to me. The burger was not too tall, it fit in my mouth fine. The burger was cooked to order, and did not drip when I was eating it. So from an assembly point of view it was Excellent. The onion rings were good. The burger however, had no taste. It might be my tasting sensors will still on overload from the super salty pretzels, so disclaimer the no taste may have been situational to our visit. The ice tea I ordered seemed it was brewed in a coffee machine, as it tasted like coffee, but my wife says that is the norm in restaurants. Tea drinkers know however. Just like non-smokers know when they are talking to a smoker. So the ratings: Kitchen: a little slow, but adequate Presentation: Excellent Assembly: Excellent Food: Tasteless Service: Good to Slow.(First person was slow, second person was Good.)
