Fantastic place, don’t forget to order a meatball sandwich. Don’t let the stuffed heads on the wall scare you away. Nothing but friends and friends you haven’t met yet here.

We stopped through here on Saturday, celebrating my twenty-fourth birthday the day before and everyone in our group loved it. There was live music so it was a bit packed around there but the outdoor portion was reminiscent of a backyard party. It had a really mellow and low-key feel to it that I have been searching for. They also have a juke box which I hope to return to use on a night where there isn’t a band. I also intend to try their meatball sub because our über driver on the way there was raving about it the whole ride!

I was wavering about whether or not to give Vincent’s the full 5 stars and then the meatball sandwich arrived. Basically just cheese and some chopped up meatballs in sauce served on thick slices of Italian bread. It’s incredibly satisfying, kind of how I imagine my non-existent Italian grandma might serve one. Is it the best meatball sub? No. But its less than $ 6 and you can eat it in a classic dive bar while listening to great music or on their amazing back deck/garden/wooden shack. The bar itself is worth it, even if you aren’t hungry. Yes, they have a terrible beer selection, but you come here for $ 2.50 gansetts and the experience. There is lots of taxidermy on the walls and Vincent’s is always filled with an interesting crowd of Worcesterites. Sometimes the band scheduled actually plays, sometimes they don’t, but there’s no cover so you can’t really complain.

If you’re looking for good music, good drinks, and the best meatball sandwich in Worcester Massachusetts, look no further. Vincent’s rules, and must be experienced. I love the laid-back atmosphere. The bartenders kick ass. My wife loves the Dirty Martini here. Cannot go wrong!

This is a great Dive bar, it’s dark, it’s old, it’s a place to hide out at. You must Get the meatball sandwich, it’s Huge and delish! The bread is absolutely amazing and fluffy goodness. You can drink at the bar and be watched by all the stuffed animals around the place, plus they don’t talk back.

I cant say enough about this place. $ 2.50 drafts, great divey atmosphere, friendly bartender willing to give a little history of the place, and a quiet neighborhood crowd. Everyone needs the meatball sandwich with cheese. This place probably hasnt been updated in many many years but if you like a dive bar like i do «this is it.»

Love this unique bar. Definitely a dive bar done right. Taxidermy on the walls & good live music. Small outdoor patio. It gets pretty crowded on weekend nights. Some great musicians though, check out Jon short on Sundays. Also really good meatball sandwiches!

Meatball sandwich & a cold gansett, my go-to! Definitely one of my favorite places to go after work with friends. Also great live local music on the weekends. It’s on the smaller side, so if it’s cold out or the weather is bad, expect to get really close to those nearby.

4 star dive bar Oh Vincent’s, where do I begin? I love dive bars, no neighborhood is too sketchy for me to try. Well this is a sketchy area, but DONOT pass this place by. You open the front door and enter a time warp to an age when a real divey lowly lit lounge was the norm. My favorite kind of place. The bartender or bar keep at this place where old school vests and ties, I love it. I then hear a Frank Sinatra song on the juke box. A real juke box, no Touch Tunes here. My wife and I ordered a few drinks and they know how to pour them. Lastly, the meatball sandwich. Good thick Italian bread and great meatballs for 4 or 5 bucks. My out can’t beat it. I’ve been to a bunch of dive bars in Worcester and I think this maybe my favorite. Keep the dream alive Vincent’s!!! Thanks

Hip, «dive» bar that has a small menu. Meatball sandwiches are excellent and not too expensive. Excellent traditional drinks from good bartenders. Good, campy live music on many nights.

Best Dive Bar in Worcester. Excellent meatball sub, the bread takes it to the next level. Fantastic live music, beefy cocktails and great atmosphere. It could be cleaned up a bit however this is what makes Vincent’s, Vincent’s. They also have a back patio with tables and a grass area to hang out on. The staff is very friendly.

Set off the beaten path on Grafton Hill, Vincent’s is a hidden gem of Worcester. The drink selection is of a good size(the draft beer selection is a little limited, but the bottled beer choices are plentiful). The menu is limited to 5 choices(sometimes 6, when there is lasagna available), but the ziti with meatball or sausage, the sandwiches and the cheese plate far surpass the competition. There is limited off-street parking but plenty of street parking. There is live music almost every night of the week, and the patio out back is the perfect summer hang-out.

This place has it’s charms, if you’re into a very laid back, local hang out. Live music, cheap beer. Don’t bother if you’re looking for something upscale. If you’ve been to and enjoyed Nick’s on Millbury St., you’ll like this place, too.

Rude female bartender! I stopped by for a beer on Friday night. My friends and I called a taxi at 130 and it was taking longer than expected. It wasn’t even 2 yet and me and my friends were waiting in the doorway for our taxi. We were waiting inside because the temperature was freezing. The bartender was extremely rude and told us to get out. I am a waitress myself and understand that everyone has to leave at close but for god sakes show a little human compassion. She had a horrible attitude about it which is what bothered me the most. I will never go back there.

I was forced to come here only for the meatball sandwich. I HAD to try the meatball sandwich, I didn’t really have a choice. So what did I do? I had the meatball sandwich… well, twice. Seriously, people talk about good balls, but Vincent’s balls were probably THE best I have ever had. Why? They are perfectly spiced and the sauce too, both tasted just like my mamas(and my own somewhat). It’s the real thing my friends, people who actually know how to make a real italian meatball! Next, they serve the meatballs on this really nice, thickly cut italian bread. The sandwich was freaking huge, yet I was still able to down 1.5 haha. The price is VERY good at I think $ 5.25 for the sandwich plus fiddy cent if you want cheese. Now, the rest of the place is very dark and dingy looking, but its actually not dirty at all. There are stuffed animals all over the place(real animals) which is fun to look at, and do have a look above the bathrooms. Its a place that you go to for lots of drinks, live music and the real thing meatballs.

Wild and Crazy. Fantastical and Phantasmal. Tucked away in crooked little nook of Worcester’s Grafton back ass, this place is a hub of yesterdays long forgotten. The walls, the layers of paint and all are just saturated with that«classic» feel. This place is probably hasn’t changed since the time of the Harlem Renaissance. Jazzy, Bluesy, Funky, and Deep rock tune-age can be heard riding up on Vincent’s and you know you are heading in the right direction… I’ve only been on a handful of occasions, sadly in the past few years. But I can say that Vincent’s left a lasting impression on me as one of the last few places in Worcester,… wait ONEARTH that has this laid back and old school vibe to it. Its a tiny joint, but get this the live and almost always local musicians that play EVERY night. Good tunes from real people. I actually saw my old guitar teacher playing with his band here fora phenomenal show one evening. You can bring your drinks outside to the patio, that I will say is nothing special(far better than Ralph’s) but its like being in your own backyard, The drinks are strong and the beer selection is nice but not vast, but the bar tenders are solid. Also some great people. I don’t feel weird coming here dressed like a hobo or dressed up. The crowd in Vincents is a nice mix, some oddballs and some fanatics, but all good folks. I settle right in nicely with my CC n ginger at Vincents, I’ve yet to try the infamous meatballs– but I hear they are also a splendor that none should pass up.

Oh, history Oh, authenticity Oh, FUN I parked in this nether region and meandered toward the bar with the thumping of the music within resonating as I approached. The banter of the smokers outside made me pause — interesting patrons bodes well. Came in, and the(expected) darkness/redness hit me. So, too, the deep real-bass grooves. And the smell of age — you CANNOT buy that, but man, would I ever bottle it.(I’ve smelled it in select, more patient Milwaukee, Chicago, Minneapolis, Philadelphia, and Louisville establishments, for example… that legitimate gravitas that no one’s washed off and varnished, thinking the citizenry will mind it.). The darkness and decorative taxidermy are a draw of their own. So too the Agatha Christie and Zane Grey novel inlays within the bar. The beer selection and pricing is ripe for your picking. The crowd is friendly, lively, and not overly suffocating(though they are vocal) during a Friday midnight’s music session. Proceeded to grab my Schlitz and meatball sandwich. Cocktails? Probably elsewhere, please. Beer? Very well. Food? Dig IN. The meatball sandwich is recommended not because other elements are incapable, but because this dish is American institution-good. Meatballs that warm your heart, remind you of love, and come with bread that could sufficiently keep Wyoming warm if draped appropriately. You want this. Bring cash, and indulge. I’ve not sold Vincent’s enough, and it deserves better than mere Unilocaling… bring friends, talk it up, and don’t keep it hidden — let Vincent’s set an example for others on how to keep American bars strong. This joint makes me wanna holler!

Close your eyes. Take a deep breath. Ahhhh… there it is. Vincent’s. It’s an old smell, but not necessarily a bad one. Like books that have been on the shelf in a cellar for oh so many years. Breath in again. There it is. In a few moments you’ll forget about it entirely. Now open your eyes. Lions and tigers and bears, oh my! Well, not literally… um. I think. But a raccoon playing baseball? Yes. A full-blown blow-fish? Yes. Angry boar? Yes. Cat with red sparkly yes? Yes. Poor fluffy lives on on a shelf at Vincent’s. I’m going to go out on a limb and say this is not a place for righteous vegetarians of members of PETA. Yes, that thermometer is also a hoof. All of this taxidermy has me wondering if the shrunken head behind the bar is real. In my mind, it is. With all of this… ambiance… you’d expect watered down scotch and maybe pretzels as a food option. Well, your expectations would be WRONG. I was having a craptastic day(before Vincent’s) so I decided cheap red wine would calm my nerves when the bartender also suggested their homemade Sangria. Sure. Why not? Okay, this may officially be the only thing I ever drink here. Deee-f*cking-licious. Seriously and stuff. And then there’s the food. Oh the food. I’m pretty sure they kidnapped some ancient Italian woman from the North End and force her to slave away making meatballs in the basement. You could seriously just go here for the food. I did not get to enjoy this patio I heard so much about as my evening got cut a little short due to uncontrollable circumstances, but that’s just fine. Perfect even. Because now I have something to look forward to for next time. Oh yes, there WILL be a next time.(And someone’s going in that photobooth…)
