This was our first and only time going here. The place was pretty pricey for the low quality of ingredients they provide. I ordered a thin crust specialty Hawaiian deluxe pizza. The description on the menu says: A Tropic Delight! Canadian Bacon, Pineapple, BBQ Sauce. Let’s talk about this tropical delight. First off when opening the box half of the crust was bent up and all the ingredients were sliding off. The crust was under cooked and soft but somehow it was burnt. The Canadian bacon was really ham chunks. The pineapple was clearly canned because of the uniformed cuts and lack of taste. The BBQ sauce had absolutely no flavor. It was the saddest pizza I have ever had. I understand that this is not a popular pizza to order but don’t have it on your menu if you are going to serve your customers this low quality product. I am really disappointed I wasted my money on this awful pizza. Needless to say I will not be back.

They are a little pricey on their food items, but their single slice pizza is the best! One slice of that thick cheezy delicious pizza will win you over to keep coming back for more! I believe there is a day they sell one slice and get one free, but can’t remember which day it is. They also have Italian beef and chicken sandwiches which are great! They have a small parking lot and small interior, but most times you get it to go.

Just witnessed a customer turned away because the guy behind the counter did not find his online order. Instead of apologizing for not finding the order he offered to place a new order and would have to pay regular price. The customer service is lacking at this location.

This place is a joke. Walked in at 12:30, not a customer in sight. I ordered a beef sandwich. 20 minutes later no sandwich. Some guy comes out and starts talking on his cell phone. I walk up to the counter and ask the guy in the back where is my sandwich he comes back 10 minutes later and hands me a bag. How does this place stay open. Never again.

I literally just got home and creates this profile so I could let everyone know how my experience was. Obviously not a good one. 1st of all, I called ahead of time and ordered a side of fries. Me and a young guy specifically talked about the sizes of fries they had and I went with a large. I get there and the girl cashier reads me back my order and it’s a small. I say, no I told him large. She then rudely says well that’s what I have and that’s what we made so… and I’m like okay? Well he told me a large, then the guy comes and says he typed it in wrong so now they have to make me more fries. That took about 15 minutes. 2nd! I also ordered two slices of cheese pizza. While I was waiting FOREVER to get my fries that should’ve taken about 5 minutes max., a new pizza comes out so as I’m about to leave I ask if it’s okay if I have slices of the new pizza instead because the two I got were so tiny and BURNT. And the guy says(rudely) well I already boxed them up so no. They’re the same freshness. That’s when I was like wtf I don’t care about the freshness, I care about the size and that it’s not all black like the ones I got. Anyways, I’m pretty disappointed about the customer service. Especially because all the employees looked like they wanted to kill themselves and they looked pissed about having customers but whatever. Going to think twice about going here again. I’d rather go to nonnas in Oak lawn or crestwood and get twice the pizza and a drink for $ 5.

The service was great and the place was nice but the pizza itself was not that great. I was not impressed at all.

I have lived in Worth for 6 years now and I have been going to Waldo’s since then. I was surprised to see the complaints on Unilocal.I have always liked the pizza and sandwiches and always received good service. I order online and it is very convenient to pick it up at the drive thru window. Keep up the good work. I think some people use this Unilocal to vent their frustrations. Like the lady who had to wait for her pizza on New Years Eve. Uh… Hello…it’s NEWYEARSEVE! Everyone is slammed on this day. Most people are aware that they need to figure extra time to accomplish anything on New Years Eve. I run a taxi service and on the holidays people spend up to ten times the regular fare because things are so crazy. A little patience and some common sense go a long way. And the goof with the mouse hair? What do you do eat your food with binoculars? Did you ever eat peanut butter? You know how many rat hairs the FDA allows in the production of peanut butter? You should be living in a bubble! Besides, it was probably a piece of oregano! This is a neighborhood business. Posting petty stuff on a huge forum like this can destroy a small business. So if you have an issue, talk to the manager or owner. If you don’t get resolution, then Unilocal about it

Poor service! I ordered a beef sandwich and then waited for twenty minutes. Finally I went to the counter and asked where my order was. The manager took my receipt and went in the back. Three or four minutes later he comes out and stuffs my sandwich into a bag and says here is your order. NO apology or explanation. When I get in my car I noticed my fries and coleslaw are missing. I go back in the store and the kid says I ordered it wrong. He says he can just charge me the difference to get what I had thought I had ordered. NOTHANKS — I don’t have another twenty minutes to wait on something that can be made in 2 minutes. I will not be going back to Waldo Cooney’s any time soon…

Where to begin. I’ve ordered from this place for 10 years. I liked the food. Pizza, chicken, and lasagna. I ordered a large sausage and mushroom pizza for my New Year’s Eve party. Went to pick it up and waited 15 min before even being greeted. The pizza cook kept looking at me without even saying hello. Finally the manager Alex came out of the back just to tell me to wait longer bc he has to answer the phone. I was clearly upset, he said«why are you mad» ummm hello I have a party to get to and don’t have 30 min to stand in a line to wait for my pizza. Minus that 2 people walked out in the process. I hand him my money and walked off storming while he yelled at me to have a great day. Total jerk. No customer service skills. Haven’t gone back it’s been 4 months. Not planning on it. I heard the owners name is Ed. I think he should see why his business could be failing.

I always thought there was no such thing as bad pizza or bad sex. Having now tried Waldo Cooney’s, I’ve had bad pizza; can bad sex be far off? Crust: flavorless bread, like the frozen bread dough you get at the grocery store. Sauce: bland, and very little of it. Cheese: Very little of it, not yummy and gooey. That’s it. No seasoning, no flavor. Worst pizza I think I’ve ever had. Including Dominoes. Not even worth the two-for-one Thursday slice price. I’m giving two stars because the onion rings were good, although they took 20MINUTES after the young kid said five… and there was no one else there. The ranch dressing that I asked for seemed off though, runny and not creamy. I won’t be going back unless I desperately need home-made onion rings.

Where to begin. lets see. their so called«famous» double dough slices? WAYY too much dough and not enough CHEESE. Heres a hint. how about marketing a pizza that offers DOUBLECHEESE? Who the heck wants dble dough and hardly any cheese? The only thing good about it was the fact I could taste oregano. I also tried their breaded steak. The dude behind the counter looked at me like I had two heads when I said I wanted an ITALIAN breaded steak… I know the menu states Breaded Steak… but C’mon! ITSANITALIANSANDWICH for PETESSAKE! Ever hear of RICOBENES… I also ordered 2 cans of RC. Now, I just KNEW this next move was coming. it takes awhile to cook the steak… but what did this teen-guy do? He boxed up my slice and left it on the counter while waiting for my steak to cook. When everything was ready, I told him now you can give me another slice. He even forgot to give me my sodas which I caught before leaving. I WASTHEONLYPERSONINTHEJOINT so being overwhelmed PHYSICALLY couldnt have been the answer… whats next/Oh yeah… MENTALLY. BTW, the steak was HORRENDOUS. One of the worst examples of a breaded steak EVER. If Taco Bell is mexican ya eat when drunk, then Waldo Cooneys is the Italian version.

I try to stay away from chain-like businesses when reviewing Italian beef sandwiches, but this one came highly recommended. So, I bent the rules and I’m glad I did. Read the rest of my review at
