Flowers on High

Beautiful flowers, nice enough people, but they didn’t follow the explicit instructions we left for a wedding bouquet and boutonnière. They doubled the price we had talked about and completely ignored the colors we had discussed (and we even showed them pictures). When we told them it wasn’t what we ordered they didn’t offer to change or alter the flowers at all. It was a pretty arrangement, just not what we asked for or wanted.

Stopped in to say hi to Jill, the owner this evening. So good to see her. Jill and Flowers on High did the flowers for our daughter’s wedding ten years ago. Our experience was fantastic! Not only were the flowers beautiful… they were perfect which made for a magical evening. Jill’s expertise and knowledge of floral combinations, colors, etc was exquisite! I recall, Jill even gave me a $ 60 credit on the final bill because – in her estimation (not mine) a certain flower was ‘not quite up to her high standards.’ Such integrity! I will always remember that kind gesture but I assure you, in my estimation, every flower was perfect and could not have been better. Flowers on High will do a great job for you should you select them for any occassion. You will be in good hands and trust me, you will not have any regrets!

I have used Flowers on High two times for a high school dance corsage and both times the corsage was not what we asked for. This time around I asked for white flowers with purple accents and make it large. I paid for these requests, but when my son picked it up the clerk said she didn’t have any purple accents, so the corsage is completely white and its small. I wish they would have called us ahead of time and said they didn’t have anything purple, we could have discussed something else to fill in, but they didn’t. What florist doesn’t have purple accents? They are a florist! I try to give local, small companies my business, but next time I will be going someplace else.

We used Flowers on High for our Wedding. The owner was great and listened to my ideas. We were able to get exactly what we wanted for a very reasonable price. Everything was absolutely beautiful on the day of the wedding and I recommend them to anyone I know that is getting married or needs flowers for a special occasion.

Flowers On High produced a wonderful arrangement for my fraternity alumni association. A fraternity member had passed on a Wednesday, the viewing was on Friday at Schoedinger Worthington. My call was placed on Thursday mid-​day.
The order was for a mixed arrangement of flowers and greenery spray on an easel presentation ($ 200) for the viewing. The presentation needed to be Red, Green and White (fraternity colors). And the card’s message needed to be spot-​on due to some «secret» letters and wording.
What did we get? Voila! A wonderful mix of roses, carnations and other flowers all operating in tandem. The spray was just a bit smaller than my imagination had dreamed of but my friend was important and I was feeling like something the size of a car would not have been enough (5^th start). The card was simple but exact by nature down to the capital letters and punctuation (periods). The viewing began at 4PM Friday and flowers arrived 1+ hours before the doors opened.

We weren’t actually planning on fresh flowers for our wedding, but when we walked in while walking around Old Worthington, we knew we had found someone to work with. The arrangements in her cooler were gorgeous, and the owner was happy to sit down and talk with us unannounced, on short notice, and help us make plans for our wedding within our budget!
