We chose this as our destination based on Unilocal reviews. So glad we did. Great experience. Food was great. Service was great. Already thinking of friends to come back with. Only negative was having to decide on what to order, everything sounded so good. Oysters on the ½ she’ll were fantastic as was the lobster bisque.

I’m doing it… 5 stars! I’ve been to rivage atlantique many times but only in the back room. The vibe is casual and friendly. Every time I enter through«the back door» I feel like I’m walking into a secret garden of food and drink. I have been impressed with the service, food and drinks every time I’ve visited. Thursdays are my favorite because of the oyster specials. I’m not an oyster aficionado but the bartenders are always ready with good advice. Nothing goes better with a dozen oysters than a fine bottle of champagne and good company. The shrimp and grits bring me back in time and the appetizers are great. Wonderful date night spot.

Yup. This is our spot. $ 5 mussels??? What else do you want? We want to go back to Ohio just for this place. AND my favorite wine for happy hour.

I’ve had a couple different experiences here and I thought I would Unilocal it! My husband and I liked the menu at Rivage but wanted something a little less white tablecloth and where we could stay later, and it has been good for that. On the other hand, I recently tried to go here with a group and they basically told us they couldn’t accomodate us, even though they could have put a couple of tables together. I just felt like they didn’t really care and didn’t want to serve us and made up a dumb reason. So when we went for food, we enjoyed the laid back atmosphere, but I don’t think they are really customer oriented.

So, The Back Room is connected to Rivage Atlantique but I’m adding this place as a separate business since it has it’s own menu, it’s own hours and… wait for it… a Saturday Happy Hour! Many people know nothing of this gem so this needs rectified IMMEDIATELY! Let’s start with this Saturday Happy Hour, shall we? It’s 11 – 6 Satuday only(closed Sundays) and runs 4 – 7PM throughout the week. Saturdays you can get $ 4 Bloody Marys until 4PM; $ 2 off all drafts, house liquor and all glass wine. Their craft beer handles aren’t too shabby and depending on what you explore this $ 2 off is quite a deal. I mostly did Bloody Marys but had a few Brew Kettle White Rajah IPAs. They had a special $ 9 draft on tap but I forgot what it was-sorry. Their handles are always rotating, which is great, but what I report more than likely won’t be there when you visit. All Happy Hours also include $ 5 Small Plate Specials: Fish Tacos, Pizzetta of the Day(I keep heargin these are really good?), 3 Featured Oysters, Steamed Maine Mussels, «Award Winning» Mini Lobster Roll. I had the oysters, which came with cocktail sauce, Zestas and lemon. Very tasty and fresh. The main menu consists of Wood Stone Pizza(average around $ 11), Entrees(average around $ 23), Raw Bar, Small Plates(average around $ 9) and Vegetarian(which are four salads and fresh«local» ravioli). We tried a couple small plates: Lobster Mac & Cheese($ 11) and Duck Poppers($ 10-duck and jalapeño wrapped in bacon served with cheese grits and Carolin sauce.) Mac and cheese was heavenly; the duck poppers though good could have probably been cooked a little longer? I say this only because the peppers were too crunchy for my taste. Duck was perfectly prepared; grits probably needed more cheese? Not the best I’ve had. Also had a small Knife and Fork Caesar, which was well prepared and fresh. The white anchovies and dressing really made this. However, it’s included under the Vegetarian menu, so I guess it’s only safe for pescatarians? Also stated on our menu were special nights they have: Monday-3 course for $ 30; Tuesday-State minimum wine by the bottle; Wednesday-New Orleans Night; Thursday-Oysters $ 10 per half dozen. Multiple TVs around the perimeter are great for watching sports-March Madness on all. One customer came in and asked for another station, which they changed for him with no issues. You can enter through the front entrance and walk through the main Rivage restaurant, passing the bathrooms to your left or enter The Back Room’s back door going straight into the bar. Parking’s tight but Worthington has large public parking by the church, across the street from the post office. Just a block away. Our server/bartender Jessica was super nice and helpful. She was very hospitable and can make a killer spicy Bloody Mary… or three. WHAT? They’re only $ 4 each!
