Chicken Express

My teenager loves fried chicken, so I took her to Chicken Express. The 2 pc box gives you any 2 pcs you want a side, biscuit and drink.
The bird was good not great.
The corn poppers where good not great.
The mashed potatoes and gravy where good not great.
$ 15 bucks… Terrible value
We won’t go back

Been going here for 8 years. I wont be back. Over the last year the quality has really declined. This order was the worst. Rolls were under baked and half the size. Chicken tenders were under cooked and full of grizzle.

i tried this location several times because it is near my house and each time my order was messed up. But I have tried it for the last time because they have no idea how to keep your drive-​thru order straight. You get home and your ordered regular chicken with green beans and you might get spicy chicken with fries. They need a good manager and more training.

Guess service goes down hill with staffing and no management skills put in play! Just went here and the girl that took order sounded like she was either annoyed or just not feeling her job! She was repeating order really fast and sounded snappy when giving the total. I pull up to window and handed her my card and it almost dropped but didn’t. She seemed like she had an attitude. Looked in her early teens. I asked if I could get some regular and spicy seasoned salt and she had this look of hell and just nodded. When she came back I said Thank you and smiled and she just gave me a cold hearted stare. Alright, if you can’t stand that job, quit and move on already! No need to sound and look all sour. Customer service girl. Get with the program. Tea is the bomb! Food is good. Rolls were a little harder than norm but I do go here often when we are craving it.

A few years back, this place had quality issues. But they have since bounced back and the food is hot and fresh. They are back to their former glory. It is good to see management that is willing to change and improve.

Man I love this place! Quick, easy, and cheap. This particular location is my regular. So consistent and has never had an order messed up.
My mom loves the tea, and dad usually gets something different every time we come.
Personally, I rarely get anything other than the number 1 with mashed potatoes as it’s just too good not to get it. Not to mention the rolls are to die for, I sometimes order a couple extra.

Great food and awesome prices. I usually get the lunch special which is only $ 5 and gets you 3 tenders, fries, gravy, and a biscuit. Highly recommend.
Update: They changed the lunch special from 3 tenders to 2 tenders without any notification. Less food, same cost???

The best fast-​food chicken tenders, corn nuggets and sweet tea!

Fresh, flavorful, chicken tenders. We are big fans! Let me say that the service is quick, FRIENDLY, and consistent. Very impressive since most of the staff is in High School. Also, the dinning room and bathrooms are consistently clean too!

This place was just like any chicken place to me. I think that it was overpriced.

Zohmygod this place is amazing. The food is always fresh and delicious. I love, love, love their rolls, oh, oh and their sweet tea. Yum. I can walk out only spending 5 dollars, and leaving completely satisfied and full. The customer service is also great.

Love love love this place. Addictive. But this young lady, Jennifer, was impatient. Got my order wrong. What is wrong with customer service with these young people now days?

We love Chicken Express. The chicken is so yummy and plump and juicy and oops I just got carried away but the chicken here is just that good.
The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is the size of the «family» fries. They are the size of a regular order at most other places so to try and push them off as a family size is almost comedic.
Give ‘em a try but maybe choose another side if trying to feed the family.

It’s so good that it makes the Colonel’s eyes rain.
Is it better than Popeye’s? Stop your blaspheming! But it’s much better than the typical fried chicken joint that you may find in your neighborhood.
Cheap, fresh, and delicious. They’re famous (at least in Sachse & Wylie) for their sweet tea and the extra chicken strips they’ll throw in your box. Order 25, most likely you’ll get 30.
The corn nuggets are awesome – sweet and crunchy, but you’ll tire of them after a good handful. The mashed taters taste like they come out of a box, but they’re quite edible.
My favorite way of eating the strips is to rip open one of the hot and sweet yeast rolls, drop in a strip, and then drizzle it with honey mustard. THAT makes MY eyes rain.
