I just had by far the best Fish Fry in the capital district. Large haddock, great flavor, tasty sauce homemade and fantastic cole slaw. Ice cream is great as well, very creamy & rich!

my daughters always know when its open somehow. good service… good soft serve… kinda cheap so we always stop…

So we just stopped in for some cones, service was good enough, offered to let us sample some things, which was nice of them. My sister got the Italian ices, these were quite good. I got a twist with a chocolate dip, not bad. And my sisters boyfriend got hard serve maple walnut in a waffle cone which he said tasted good.
So if everything tasted good, why would I give this only 2 stars? Well about half way through the waffle cone ice cream we spotted a bug imbedded into the ice cream… not so yummy!
They were happy to replace the cone but with the same ice cream… perhaps maybe they should have gotten rid of the buggy coffin ice cream, and offered another flavor instead?
The bug incident knocks it down a star. Maybe try staying with soft serve so as to avoid bug carcasses.
