JetSet Pilates

I was going to Jetset in Wynwood for almost every day, for three months. I love JonJon and Elisa for their passion and dedication to creating a great work out. Today I went back to JonJon after moving to the Beach and mostly using the studio located on Washington (Elisa also teaches at this location, thank goodness!)I have missed him so much and I just can’t get over how amazing his class was today! He had so much excitement around his routine, the playlist was on point, and it was just the workout I wanted/​needed. I know that by attending a class with JonJon or Elisa that I’ll leave having had a rewarding workout! Thank you guys for being committed to making your classes great! Be sure to book ahead these two fill up quickly and once you take a class with them you’ll know why !

Jon Jon & Elisa are the reason I adore this location!!! I started jetset back in August of 2014 in the gables location, immediately got hooked and loved Szabi’s style! This location is even better, the crowd is laid back, everyone is friendly and encouraging. I love love love them!
I had to update my review because of Bethany, one of the new instructors, she does an arm series that will leave you wanting more, and you will see results instantly once you start taking her classes weekly.
Jonjon, Elisa & Bethany are killer, I can’t rave about them enough! Jetset is really a fab place!

The class perse was amazing. I went in with a different idea of what actually happened. I got my butt kicked (in a great way) and was challenged every single minute. Jon jon is great, patient, paying attention to each person (good thing about small groups). I didnt give them 5 stars because of two things: as new members, we weren’t informed we should get there earlier to learn how to use the reformer nor were we told we needed special socks. Other than that, i reccommend it. Come early and bring special socks. Then get ready to sweat and use muscles you haven’t used ever!

Loved coming here whenever I visit the Miami area. Great workout and good instructors (JonJon is super hard!!!) but lack of professionalism and consistent disregard for the customer on the part of management will prevent me from ever going back. Megaformer studios are popping up all over, I’d recommend checking out some of the others.

I just moved to Miami from NYC and JetSet Pilates has been a life changer. This is the first group exercise class I’ve really loved. All of the instructors are incredible and I appreciate the small class size. Elisa, Julia, and Jon Jon are so kind and encouraging (I was intimidated having never tried a reformer class) and always have something new and challenging. The classes go by quickly and you leave feeling totally exhausted but in the best, most calming/​relaxing/​energizing way. The only downside is that if you attend an afternoon class parking is difficult, and if you are on a monthly unlimited package and miss a class the $ 25 penalty is steep. But overall, five stars for this wonderful studio.

Wow this is the most amazing workout I have had in a long time. I have tried and regularly do many different kinds of classes (spin, barre, bootcamps, yoga, etc), but this class was challenging in a way I haven’t experienced in a long time.
This is not a traditional Pilates class! No slow focus on breathing. Very challenging core and total body exercises on a mega reformer. Gets you working hard and sweating!
Elisa my instructor was very sweet and helpful with my first workout.

Attended my first class here and was definitely a difficult and amazing workout. Only three stars because I feel that instruction was quite poor. Form is obviously very important in a Pilates workout to prevent injury and maximize effectiveness. This is especially true when navigating large machinery that I am not familiar with. The instructor did not give me instructions on how to get in and out of positions, even when I was visibly struggling with working the machinery. The class only had two people in it (myself and another employee) — so large class size was definitely not an excuse. I bought a class package, so I am hoping to find another instructor who will do more than just manage the time for each sequence and watch me struggle!

I wasn’t sure what to expect from this class but I certainly wasn’t disappointed. Jon Jon it was great and I was more challenging than I even imagined possible. Can’t wait for my next class.

Possibly one of the hardest workouts i have EVER done, but incredibly impactful and efficient for a 1 hour class. I was introduced to the studio through classpass and took the class with my friend. The reformer machines were incredibly hard but our instructor was enthusiastic and understanding, he was constantly giving us positive reaffirmation which made some of the pain more tolerable. In all, it’s a great class for those looking for an intense workout. This is not your average pilates!

The workout itself is good. I’m challenged and work muscles I didn’t know I had.
I would give them 5 stars, however, the class is not worth $ 30. They do not have lockers. They have cubbys. They do not have showers either. The facilities lack a great deal of EVERYTHING!
Unlike other gyms like Flywheel and Barry’s where you get great amenities, showers, towels, toiletries, an app, blow dryers ect. Jet Set classes should not be more than $ 15. If they ever upgrade and their facilities get to the level of Barry’s or Flywheel, then it will be worth it. Just not yet.
12 hour cancellation is too strict.
Instructors are friendly and the music is fun.

Class was ok. I don’t like they they focused on doing the same exercise/​routine in minute intervals. It became mundane and disengaging. Pilates is also all about form I was new to the class so I can assure you that at many points I was way off and the instructor never came by to help or correct which leads to me to believe that it is not a true Pilates studio. It was more about proctoring exercises to the beat of the music and timing each for a minute. Other places I’ve been to stress the importance of form and really walk you through the exercises. If Pilates is not done with proper form there is no point. You’re just risking injury.

Great class, super challenging and awesome atmosphere. The classes are small enough to get personal attention on form and access to the machines is a super plus.
I’m definitely making this part of my routine

After trying several different pilates studios on the Beach, I’ve finally discovered an amazing studio for an excellent workout. While my obliques were sore the next day and I certainly worked up a sweat, all I want to do is sign up for another class. I can feel confident that my core is getting a real workout. Not sure what that will mean for the beach, but my body is still thankful for this studio — friendly, clean, modern, and effective.

BEST WORKOUT IVE HAD IN YEARS! I’ve done everything… Crossfit, spin, barre, Pilates and nothing compared to the workout I got at JetSet! This workout is amazing and works all of those little hard to get muscles in a non– impact format. I’ve invited every one of my friend to try it!!!
PS: don’t let the word Pilates fool u, I was dripping sweat half way in. It was intense :)

I love the workout! I would only wish for the classes to change more. Teachers are doing the same exact class on consecutive days. It is starting to feel monotonous. And less challenging. I hope to see new and different excercises otherwise it will get boring. If this changes. I would stick to this workout on my daily routine .
Overall I completely LOVE it and it is definitely a Great workout.

Pros:
–Classes are great with a consistent level of difficulty every time with the majority of the instructors. (I’ve been to 10+ classes with multiple instructors)
–MegaReformers are versatile and the instructors maximize their use.
–Results are noticeable pretty quickly with consistent attendance
Cons:
–Lots of rules including:
–12 hour cancellation policy which applies for unlimited month membership which you will get charged $ 25 for missing a class
–Late policy (regardless of weather, traffic, etc) states that JetSet reserves the right to place someone else in your space if you are late. (I.e., I walked into a 6:30pm class at 6:35pm when it was raining with limited parking due to the parking «situation» there and people were waiting so I lost my spot. The «graciously» waved charging me the $ 25 for the class, but it is within their right to.)
–Parking: This is Wynwood so it is all street parking. The Lab Miami has frequent evening classes, so spots are hard to find. Much easier on weekend mornings.
–Cost: «Opening» prices are $ 30 for 1 class, $ 200 for 10 classes, $ 219 for unlimited classes for a month and $ 199 a month for 3 consecutive months. For Pilates this would be fine, but they have a lot of rules to be this expensive.
Overall, awesome classes with creative instructors. These are not beginner Pilates classes. There is not a huge focus on breathing and alignment but you will have results with frequent attendance.

Great big airy warehouse Sebastian legree equipment studio the SLT, pilates plus of florida. D taught my class love that he kept the music loud and the studio cool! Would love to hear a more dynamic music selection that flows with the movements, yet a great start for new studio for sure. Burn baby burn, he instructs a hard class and corrects your positions. I will definitely return.
