Sub Stop

Friendly enough Staff, but could use some training in the food health safety area. Sat down with my son and while we were eating the 2 employees were eating chips and drinking behind the counter in the food prep area. Then they sat down and had a conversation with each other while there were only the 4 of us in the place, should have taken it to the back of the place.
Food was ok, basically a Quiznos without the logo. My son really liked the big cookie that came with his meal.
There are better places in the strip mall than this, definitely better in the area.

We got two subs from here and they were both fantastic. Blows Quiznos out of the water.

So, this is a former Quiznos location, that had gone downhill like all of the others in the area. I saw that it had changed branding so I thought I’d stop in and give it a try.
Upon walking in, it was clear that the place was an unbranded Quiznos, same layout, same tables, decorations, same equipment, and essentially the same menu with some minor twists here and there.
I ordered the Sub Stop Steak sub, because, what better representation of a place than an item with the business name in it? It came on a foot long roll with chipotle mayo, French dressing, cheddar and «steak».
The service was friendly and quick, I had the sub in about as long as it took to fill my drink. As far as the sub itself, «steak» is a bit of a stretch for what came on the sub. While I suppose any cut of meat can be called a steak, this was thinly sliced, flavorless, gristley, hard to chew beef. Closer to what you’d expect to find on a second rate French dip rather than something with steak in it’s name.
I split the sandwich with a friend, but, neither of us finished more than a few bites of the sub before giving up and finding something else to eat for lunch. Overall the best part of the meal was the pickle and the fountain pop. This part of Wyoming has a lot of fine ptions for lunch, unfortunately, this isn’t one of them.
