Great wines and friendly staff. We love the music on the weekends.

I’m so glad I stopped into this little gem in Yakima. The wine is great and the service can’t be beat. We stopping in in a Friday afternoon instantly felt like we were part of their wine family. The staff was so friendly and welcoming — so much so that we come back later that evening to listen to the live music. Seeing all the local patrons hanging out there is a testament not only to the quality of wine, but also the the great experience provided by the staff. We’ll definitely be back!

Came from Napa to visit multiple time. Love the staff & especially enjoy the Dark Star which got 90 points in Wine Spectator.

A great wine-tasting venue in downtown Yakima — excellent red varietals, and a great mineral Riesling. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in town.

Next time I’m comin’ at night and staying for the music. This place is fun, the wine is great and the tasting room pretty cool.(Note the Grateful Dead influence a la «Workingman’s Red,» which by the way is quite yummy.) Bought home a bottle of their Dark Star which was good, good, good and rated one of the top ten affordable wines from Washington state.(Their wines are reasonably priced!) I didn’t catch the name of the gal behind the bar — but she was personable, knowledgeable and one of the reasons we’d come back!

Kana Winery is my go to place on Friday nights. It is like the local«Cheers». The owner and the manager are warm and welcoming. From the first time I walked in the door I felt like I was home. They have a strong sense of local business and improving downtown Yakima. They are active in the Yakima Valley Wine community and strive for excellence. And last but not least, I love Reisling and their Katie Mae is the best reisling I have EVER tatsted! My favorite!

Our visit was phenomenal. The daytime ambience is relaxed and the room is designed with character and interesting décor. They have low and high tables. There were EIGHT wines for the tasting, and our server even added another, different year of one of the same wines. Tasting fee is waived when you buy, and boy did we buy! It’s not often I enjoy so many wines from one place, but Kana really delivered — from whites to reds. And at great, low price points. Many award-winners and 90-point wines to enjoy. Highly recommend visiting here, particularly if you need a wonderful break on the way to Walla Walla.
