We were there at 11 am and there wasn’t anyone there. We waited 15 minutes and still no one showed up. First time to Yakima area. Major bummer. Hopefully they are better prepared in the future for people that want to wine taste on the weekend with friends.

took about 20 of my employees here for our Christmas lunch. It was a great choice! The setting is beautiful. The staff was fabulous. The food was delicious. It was very nice to have a private room decorated beautifully. I would highly recommend taking a group to this place of business.

My bf and I decided to do a quick trip to Yakima– just an overnight the night prior to Easter, after skiing at Snoqualmie. We knew we only had time to check out one vineyard since it was about 5 pm already, so my bf did a search and discovered how nice this one looked, and that it was open until 9:30, AND had a great menu. Score! Although the Naches Heights Rd was blocked off due to construction, we weaved our way around, enjoying some pretty views. Arrived at the NH to a jolly pre-Easter crowd, sitting in large and small clusters around outdoor tables on a grass lawn. Now why don’t other winery’s do this: charge only $ 5 tasting fee, pour a slightly smaller amount, so that the guests feel like they can still buy a bottle and sit and enjoy it right then and there?(We’re used to $ 10 tasting fees by Seattle) We settled on the Can-Can, a very young white that tasted more complex than you’d think, and was a perfect on this warm sunny day. The guy and fella behind the bar were friendly, down to earth, and although it was very busy, were very hands on and accommodating. I think they were both plating food, serving bottles and doing pourings. There was a limited menu due to an unexpectedly large crowed today(great weather and Easter eve), and we didn’t see anything coming out that looked remotely like the things on the menu(truly, it seemed like maybe that’s what they want to eventually be doing, but it just wasn’t the same food as pictured). What we got, though, was a delicious cheese and cracker plate, and the charcuterie plate, also good. Seriously good cheeses with a few apple slices(needed more) and some water crackers. Also saw the brie w/honey plate, which looked good, and a small pizza looking pretty good too. Nothing spectacular, but if you’re hungry while you’re enjoying a fabulous bottle of wine, in awesome surroundings, it’ll do just fine. We had a fab time– will definitely be back! Thank you NHV!

I’m sad. Sad that the other wineries in the Yakima Valley now have to try to compete with this fabulous place. They serve a small menu, but everything on it is five stars. Cheesecake while wine tasting? How did none of the other wineries think of this first?! The Can Can is God’s gift to females every where and every friend I have buys it by the case. Throw in glamping– yes, you heard me– camping with glamour– and no other winery has a chance in hell. Try to time your visit when the live Jazz band is playing, but pretty much any day is a good day to experience this beyond great place.

Great place to go in Yakima. My parents surprised me with this place that is new. It is basically set up as a wine tasting room, however, they do sell food. The pizza was great and the bonus was that they serve beer from Yakima Craft Brewery. My family spent a couple hours at an outside table. We had great service and enjoyed the wines. The Riesling and the Can-Can were our favorites. It is worth a visit just for the view alone.
