The miniature golf course alone is worth 4 stars. The thing is, finding it was challenge and weird. The Meadowbrook Family Fun Center is located in a strip mall. I added a picture of the front — it wasn’t immediately obvious to us was we drove around looking for the place. Then, when we went inside, we couldn’t figure out where the miniature golf was, and I ended up asking one of the employees how to find it. She pointed out a back door and told us to go diagonally until we came across it. Even when we exited the door we couldn’t really see the mini golf course until we crossed the parking lot. There was parking directly outside of it, so if you where where to go, it wouldn’t be so bad, it was just odd when we went there the first time since the GPS took us to the storefront. The golf was inexpensive: $ 5.50/adult. The course was cuuute. There were large obstacles for almost every hole. A few of them had the moving doors that open and close. Everything seemed in good repair. I was impressed by the fact that the employee working the stand also worked to maintain the area(weed, clean things up, etc.) while she wasn’t helping guests get putters or snacks. The only thing that could have made this better as a miniature golf course would have been an overarching theme to the holes. The mini golf was outdoors, so it’s best on a nice day.

The kids(ages 7 – 11) had their party here and enjoyed themselves. They had a choice of several other party places, including Chucky Cheese, but had a strong preference for this place. The staff was friendly and helpful. While not gourmet, the pizza was fine. For adults, the noise levels are vastly more friendly than at Chucky Cheese and the eating area is separate from the play area. The bumper cars, bumper boats, batting cage and mini-golf were nice options to the electronic games inside.

Man its a fake Chuckie Cheeses and then take that notion and water it down some more, add go carts and putt putt. Pretty mediocre place needs updates, but for Yakima it the beez knees. lol

Cutting-edge, Meadowbook is not. The mini golf course is small, the go-karts putt along, and the most advanced arcade game is the DDR knockoff Pump It Up. But then again, what does it matter? Mini-golf, go-karts, and video games are still as fun as ever.
