Good restaurant, nice and peaceful place that plays animé/kpop music. Would recommend if you’re into Japanese culture, only real downside is its rather pricy in comparison to other places that serve this type of food.

Our favorite sushi place in town. Try the boyfriend roll, amazing! Lunch time specials are at great prices. Atmosphere is wonderful it’s calm relaxing and clean. The owner is kind and she always is sweet to my kids.

I wish there were more than 5 stars on here! This place is AMAZING!!! Can’t get enough of their tempura, crispy California roll, chicken teriyaki! Overall 10000 stars! Love this place!!! Can’t say enough about this restaurant!

My Sushi rice tasted like it came from Safeway or Albertsons sushi counter. No flavor, tight packed roll and could figure out what I was eating due to flavors where blah.

I love Ozeki’s. The owner is a great person, it’s local, and the sushi is always fresh and tastes amazing! Whenever I am in town this is one restaurant I have to hit up. You wont be disappointed.

Went into this restaurant with high expectations by all the great Unilocal reviews, but was very disappointed when we left. I ordered the Rainbow roll and my wife ordered the Shrimp Tempura roll. My roll was Ok, but the flavor was extremely fishy and very chewy, my wife’s on the other hand did not have any shrimp in the Shrimp Tempura roll but only in the two end pieces. Also, there were only three groups in the restaurant and there were 4 people working and the waitress only came and brought us our food and give us the check, she never came to see if we needed anything or how our food was.

Best Nigiri that I have ever had, and their volcano roll is amazing!

Holy shit this place was insanely delicious!!! We are in town from MI for the comic convention and spotted this place on foursquare. I tried out the large ahi tower and my family had some other good looking stuff like kim bap and the hummingbird. Everything was insanely delicious and was ready extremely fast. I seriously can’t recommend this place enough! The service was great too! If you’re super hungry, seriously get the large ahi tower.

Food is very good every time. I get take-out for lunch 2−3/month & the quality is very consistent. Sake sushi, rainbow roll, & spicy scallop roll are my favorites. The owner is super nice.

The food and service were great. However, the lunch portions of teriyaki chicken and beef were tiny and not worth the price.

So I showed up on a Tues night at 8:35PM and the closing time was 9:00PM however I was told by the hostess you were no longer serving for the night. Great sushi for a lunch menu but if you aren’t going to stay open as long as advertised I suggest you change your hours of operation? Very bush league and unprofessional. Refusing service 25 minutes before closing time is unacceptable for any restaurant and you have lost my business forever.

Very disappointing. California roll was tangy(over vinegary rice) with mayo? mixed in the krab. Too rich. Volcano roll had thousand island? dressing and BBQ? sauce covering it. Couldn’t even taste the salmon. Humming Bird roll was NOT sushi at all. It was more like a deep fried popper-false ad too cuz it said«deep fried jalapeño» not deep fried roll. Finally kappa maki roll had same rice issues and rolled so tight it smashed rice into a solid. We’ve eaten at fair to fancy sushi restaurants. Normally its the quality of seafood/ingredients that suffers but at Ozeki it was food prep, technique, taste, texture and mis-representation all at an upper range price that warrants the fewest stars possible. It felt like an overly americanized version of traditional Japanese food(light, fresh, subtle). Nice servers though.

Just don’t get sushi in Yakima, that is all. If you do, don’t order too much. It’s not great and the rolls are big, even minimal ones that are traditionally smaller. It was too much food that I didn’t want to eat.

Not impressed! Foreign object in our food — she took it off our ticket but did say sorry. Atmosphere is not great! We won’t be going back.

Good but I think a little overrated. I went there for my birthday in December and wasn’t blown away. Friendly staff just not the best sushi I’ve ever had.

I ordered tofu udon and sashimi– salmon, tuna and unagi. I sat at the sushi bar and was asking the chef about the hummingbird. He ended up making it for me even tho I didn’t order it. However im glad he did because it was super tasty! I also had a glass of Chardonnay. My bill was about $ 50 so it’s pretty pricey! But I did get a lot for just one person. I loved the simplicity of the décor. The sashimi pieces were thick and the salmon and tuna were fresh and tasty! The unagi was also satisfying. My one and only complaint was that the udon noodles were slightly undercooked but the flavor was spot on! So yummm

Stopped here for lunch on a road trip. From the outside, Ozeki doesn’t look like much, but it is very inviting on the inside. I really wanted a sushi lunch box(standard 6 or 8 pieces with a roll and miso) but it was not I had a yakisoba lunch special and a spicy tuna roll. The roll was ok but not the best I have had. The yakisoba was very good, but again, average. A good place for lunch, but sushi does not seem to be their specialty.

I got two special rolls and was very surprised at how amazingly tasty it was! The fish was very fresh and the service was friendly. I like that they had rolls I had never had before.

Terrible! Terrible! Terrible! I’m not a sushi snob, just a regular guy that likes sushi. The edamami was brown and looked dead. The California roll was okay. But the special roll I had was disgusting. Took one bite and sent it back. But of course they made me pay for it regardless. Will NEVER come back. The restaurant is creepy and in a gross strip mall as well.

Best customer service. Food is great! We can go a year without coming here(which is hard) and they would still remember us. The food is great and the sushi is awesome. Try the teriyaki, the boyfriend roll, hummingbird roll, and dragon roll. :) It’s hard to try different things because I always want the teriyaki but I am never disappointed when I do.
