I had to chuckle when I read the review posted by another satisfied patient (Jason) because his experiences so closely match my own situation that I could have written that review myself. I’d like to reiterate just how caring, understanding, and skilled Dr. Hopenwasser is. A trip to the dentist will never be one of my favorite things, but thanks to this dentist I am getting the root canal I needed. His support staff, especially George, also are very kind and helpful. I highly recommend this practice!

I’m a major league nervous flier at the dentist. I had been terribly frightened for years about re-​establishing with a provider because of terrible experiences I’ve had in the past.
Well, I was so scared that I waited way too long and some things went seriously wrong with an old root canal. Enter Dr. H — I found him online through Angie’s List and made an emergency appointment.
Not only did they get me in right away, the doctor was so friendly and understanding of my situation. I had to have an extraction, and he provided nitrous oxide which made it all so much easier, and PAIN FREE. Since then, I’ve had my cleanings and am getting long-​neglected caries filled.
I must say Dr. H helped me overcome a debilitating fear of dentists that haunted me for years. He did it not just with his technical skill, but by being a kind and understanding health care provider. 5 stars, for real; if you need a dentist and live in the area, this is your guy. My wife sees one of his associates and is very happy with him as well.
