Great food and service, but the noise level really spoiled the experience… My husband and I were looking forward to a romantic evening out, and got a 7pm reservation on a Saturday. We were seated upstairs in the middle of the floor, and many of the other tables were already occupied. The service was very good and attentive. The food was fantastic — I had the parsnip gnocchi with scallops and almond pesto which was incredibly tasty and different. The only complaint, and it’s a pretty big one — it was so loud, we couldn’t hear each other. We spent the meal shouting at each other. We couldn’t even really hear the waiter, even though he leaned over the table really far to try to be heard. They should really try to do some sound deadening in that room — the noise really spoiled what should have been a very enjoyable meal. I will probably go back because we enjoyed the food and the service, but not on a busy Saturday. I would also ask if some of the other rooms are quieter so we could be seated there.

I love this restaurant! I eat here all the time, everything is fresh and flavorful. The best is that it’s ½ mile from my house and it’s a byob and so reasonably priced.

Would rate 3.5 stars… Food was fabulous– autumn menu is fresh, carefully prepared and flavorful 5 stars to the chef! Service was ok. My biggest disappointment was the cute exterior belies a hokey interior. This isn’t a red-checkered tablecloth kind of menu — the patrons would be well served for a updated interior. I’ll certainly come again for the food, but won’t bring guests I would want to impress. Pumpkin spice cannoli are to die for!

Borderline between 4 and 5 stars. We came on a Saturday and had 5 star service from our waiter Matt. He was funny, helpful, and attentive. I wish I would have tried one of his recommendations. We did very much enjoy our food. We started with the fried risotto ball stuffed with short ribs. We had the house salad — delicious, and then I had the lasagna and my husband had the pork wrapped in prosciutto. Very tasty! Atmosphere is pretty and welcoming. Will come back with visiting guests next time.

I have been there twice with two different groups and we all thought the food was excellent, service was wonderful and the surroundings are very, very beautiful. The chef is very accommodating and the food is reasonably priced. Definitely going back for more.

Back again for dinner late July 2015 — and great job Rosa! The bread was a nice chewy semolina, the oil fresh with spices. We split a house salad which was fresh and good, dressing on the as requested. One of us had the special, squid ink lobster ravioli topped with crabmeat — excellent! One of us was looking for a more paleo option, and so went for the steak and doubled up on the sauteed fresh spinach, skipping the potatoes. The steak was perfect medium rare as requested, and the spinach was done just right with olive oil and garlic. Since it is BYOB, the tab was quite reasonable. Top that off with an excellent service experience(ask for Reggie!), and we were delighted.

So delicious!!! My sister & I went to Trattoria Rosa Bianca over the weekend & were both delighted with the dishes. The fried calamari was the freshest & most tender that I have ever tasted. Quite wonderful! And the ricotta cheesecake was unbelievably light & creamy — the stuff that dreams are made of! And the lemon tart was really good — well balanced flavor — not too sweet(yum!). We shared the squid ink with crabmeat & my sister commented that this was even better than the squid ink that she had tried while in Rome. The blueberry gnocchi was a nice twist on a traditional dish. We enjoyed everything that we tried & we will definitely be coming back!

I would go with 3.5 stars for this place. I came on Saturday afternoon for a bridal shower. It’s right on Main Street in Yardley and looks like it was converted from a house. It was super cute when we walked in and the whole main floor was reserved for the bridal shower. The appetizers were all very tasty. We had arancini, mozzarella in carrozza, and roasted asparagus with pancetta. The mozzarella was my favorite, but they were all fabulous and stayed tasting fresh even though they were bring them out in large batches to serve everyone. For the entrée I went with the roasted eggplant alla parmigiana and it was just ok. I’m a big eggplant parmesan fan and this one just didn’t hit the spot. This is a cute Italian restaurant that doesn’t feel checkered tablecloth kind of Italian restaurant and I would definitely try again if I were back in Yardley.

The food is amazing; well prepared, wonderful ingredients and an incredible dining experience. Everything was perfect. The 4 of us had 4 different dishes and each one was a home run. The appetizers and desserts are equally terrific. We wi return soon.

Date night with my spouse. I had Costine Di Manzo(short ribs) and my husband had Bistecca(steak). Both were very tasty. Service was prompt. BYOB. Vegetables(Spinach and Brussels Sprouts were very good. A HUGE improvement over the last time we came shortly after they opened. They are adjusting and getting things right!

I came here based on «Bucks County bests» which was kind of a lie. When I went there was NOONE there and it was a Monday night at 8pm. Which was kinda weird but whatever. The salads are LARGE portions so just a warning. I tried to order the osso bucco and it was«not available» so I got just the mushroom risotto which was very soupy. My mom got the paparadelle bolognese, which was okay but kind of salty. I made this reservation on open table and wrote in big letters on the comment DAD’S BIRTHDAYPLEASEBRINGDESSERTOUTWITHCANDLE I WILLPAYEXTRA. And I don’t think the waiter ever looked at that comment so I was waiting for it to happen all night and it never did. It’s an average Italian restaurant, a little over priced.

I have been here a handful of times and each time I have a great meal. I love the feel of the restaurant. It’s set in an older house and really has a homey, relaxed feel. They don’t rush you out after your meal so it is great for groups to socialize with an after dinner drink or finish up a bottle of wine. I haven’t had a bad meal or experience here. I highly recommend!

Was not impressed at all. The tomatoes for the caprese salad looked and tasted like they came from a can. The entrees were subpar.

Let me start off by saying that this place is really cute; however, the food and service was just… okay. We ordered the polpettes(meatballs) and polenta fries to start. The meatballs were very fatty and the tomato sauce was not seasoned well… or really at all. The polenta fries were pretty tasty. They were drizzled with honey, basil oil and topped with crispy prosciutto. We ordered two pasta dishes: A seasonal dish– strozzapreti pasta with summer squash and it wasn’t very impressive. The sauce was extremely thick and heavy; not exactly the light summer dish we were expecting. We also ordered the ricotta gnocchi with a blueberry and gorgonzola cream sauce. The sweet, salty and tart combination was very nice. Our waitress was apologetic when we expressed that we didn’t care for the meatball dish and she removed it from our bill. We waited a long time before she came over to ask how anything was and felt as if she was avoiding our table because we weren’t touching that particular dish. Overall the experience wasn’t a bad one, but I am not really dying to go back here.

I took my mom here for dinner for her birthday and we are both in agreeance that the food was delicious. She got the salmon and i got the frutti de mare, both perfectly cooked and the broth in mine was so good with just the right amount of heat. We also agreed that server was not up to par. She was miserable, didn’t even introduce herself, and really hampered the experience. We had a lovely time and will probably be back but will definitely request a different server.

Had dinner on a Friday. The appetizer, arancine, was very good. Those are the crispy risotto balls they have. However, the entrees were subpar. We had the ricotta gnocchi and the spaghetti alla primavera. The gnocchi was in a ragu sauce with lamb chunks, but it also had a mint pesto on top. The mint pesto just didn’t match the rest of the dish at all. It was a very awkward combination. And the texture of the gnocchi was not smooth. The spaghetti alla primavera was lacking flavor. Very bland. I would not go back. I will say that the service is very good. Our server was very attentive and pleasant.

It took us a year to finally visit, but man, was it worth the wait. I planned a surprise birthday party for my wife here with six other friends, and the management and staff were super great to work with. Appetizers and drinks were on the table before my wife and I arrived for the surprise, and we were constantly attended to by the staff. Our table ordered a wide variety of dishes, and after sampling and sharing most plates, we decided that everything is delicious. I ordered the Frutta di mare, which is a personal favorite anyway. The broth alone is worth packing up and taking home. I also recommend ordering it with pasta added(I had the homemade taglietteli). My wife ordered the squid ink pasta, which was full of garlic and lemon flavor, without being overdone. If you’re looking for some great ambience, attentive service, and incredible, made to order Italian, I highly recommend this place!

I am really excited to review this restaurant — and hope you all are excited to check out this place. Yardley needs some more amazing restaurants, and on the heels of Charcoals’ new style of cooking, this place is on track. We noticed issues almost from the onset — they took away our Pellogrino water bottle after they poured one glass, not two as requested, even though we were charged for it. After 20 min, we had to ask for bread. Really it was no big deal. We started our meal with the assorted antipasti and the risotto balls — both were delicious starters. The meats were fresh and flavorful, the mozzarella tenderly made, the capers still had their stems on and the rice balls were done in the traditional Sicilian way with meat and sauce. The house salad that comes with the meals was one of the best salads I have had in a long time. The entrees were really problematic. For entrees, my party ordered two brioles and the steak. I understand the restaurant literally just opened and there is going to be kinks in the system, but there is no reason to wait more than 90 minutes for entrees and then for them to come out ice cold. I don’t understand how the food could have been that cold expect that they had been at the pass for more than 15 min. The steak looked a little too rare and the brioles were a little chewy. The meat had been grilled, when really it should have been stewing in sauce for hours. The polenta side was delicious and very hot. We then made the mistake of ordering dessert — another 20 min for a piece of cake. The coffee never made it. The flavors in the food were all there and I could tell the owner really loves this place. They just need to work out their kinks and get food out. I look forward to coming back in about a month or so and updating my review. I hope you all try this place out too and support this lovely new establishment.
