U.S. Bank

Lets see,
Moving from CA to OH, I had to get rid of my Citi Bank account (no branches in OH) and open a new account with US Bank.
As far as the branch goes:
Pros:
— Staff is nice, helpful & polite
— Manager is down to earth, waived $ 130 in fees for me
— Got drive through window
— Centrally located
Cons:
— They still use paper slips for deposit or withdrawn money, very behind!
Is it so hard to get few card swiper machines??? You are so cheap while not carrying about you costumers & employees?
— Few days ago I had to wait for like 30 minutes for service, since they were extremely busy, although the manager made my deposit in his own office!
— When opening the account, banker was not savy in they account types & did not remembered to inform me about me needing to make a $ 100 depositing, even after reminding her, she forgot twice to ask me for money which I don’t mind, lol
She also forgot to mention that I can get a temporary ATM card while waiting 2 weeks for the original one!
Also forgot to ask me if I want to order checks.
All of that with a smile of course!
Overall, they are nice & probably be helpful in case you’ll need help.
As far as U.S. Bank goes in general…
This bank is the worst ever! It is beyond horrible in any field!
Costumer Service:
Rude & unprofessional, answering machine is long & complicated, reps answer the phone by a lazy «hello» or just «yes» WTF?
How about «Its a beautiful day at US bank, my name is – and I’ll be glad to assist you» ?!!
One rep «Chris» did not want to help me out with some problem so he just hung up on me.
My 12 yo nephew has more charisma than this shmock!
Fees:
Their overdraft fees are the highest: $ 38 plus $ 8 a day!!! Never heard about anything like that ever before!

Completely infantile! They are stuck 7 years behind!
Their web site is old, slow, heavy, confusing, bulky, full with god knows what BS! Each click loads slowly a new page!
Their set up for user name+password is retarded!!!
You need to input user name — Fine!
than it asks you a security questions like what year was your father born? — Ridicules but tolerable!
Than it shows u a picture (which you’re supposed to recognize) while making a sounds which should go with the picture! — God knows what is this BS! Simply retarded beyond anything I ever saw!
Only then it asks you for a password!
And also asks to click the box if you want it to remember this PC, I always click, it never remembers!
The balance windows are confusing, slow and way behind, they are updating daily & not momentarily!
Which may cause you go overdrawn!

Until a week ago they had this app wanna be which looked like an app but was more like a regular web page online which fitted to act as an app, yet is downloading each page separately. WTF?
Slow, bulky and primitive!
Few days ago I downloaded US Bank wallet app which is already a real app (what took them so long?) but still behind other banks. (speed & graphics)
Notifications:
I set to get notifications via email & SMS each time my balance goes under $ 20, it would send 3 different balances in the same minute! Ridicules!
Bottom line: The bank is way behind, in any category, it plays the good old game of lets grab as much money as possible from our clients like there is no tomorrow, they wont notice!
This bank thrives on dumb clients or naïve people, who are too young, or too old to care.
I got some news for you! Not all of your costumers are dumb!
And I will move to Chase very soon once I’ll get out of Y. Springs into Dayton.
Stay away from this bank! It’s clearly run by ignorant morons!
