Very good food. Large portions too which is good with two growing boys in the home. Solid prices though

The people working here are always nice and friendly. My husband said the first time we ate there the eggrolls were the best he’d ever had but the second time he ate the eggrolls he said they tasted off so I guess quality is not consistant. I’ve been pleased with the food so far though — I mean Yelm is a really small town so it’s not like we have a lot to choose from. I’d put this at the top of the list as far as Chinese food in Yelm goes.

Worst food I have ever tasted, I say tasted because it only took 2 bites, Beware, lots of other choices in area, the waitress didn’t charge us, and apologized like it’s a everyday thing

Worst food ever served to us! I say served instead of ate because we took one bite & stopped. I have no idea why anyone would eat here. Not sure what that was but it wasn’t chicken & the «sauce» was horrible! Only reason it got one star is that you can’t go lower than that! Run, don’t walk to anywhere else !

Worst tasting Chinese food I’ve ever had. No exaggeration. The best tasting thing in my plate was the salad, which was just lettuce & carrot slivers.

What a great little place. With reasonable prices. Certainly worth a visit.
This Restaurant appears to be run by the owners and they really seem to care about the customer. Our glasses were promptly refilled and the follow up on our satisfaction was checked by each of the owners.
We ordered chicken chow mein, sweet and sour chicken, sesame chicken and shrimp fried rice.
The chicken dishes are essentially the same. Yet with different flavors. Both were crunchy on the outside and soft in the middle. Taste and flavor was right on.
The shrimp fried rice was fantastic, plump shrimp and well seasoned rice.
The chow mein was different than what I was used to, this isn’t their fault I was asked which kind… I can’t get it straight up here. In California you asked for chow mein and it comes with noodles. However back on point this had plenty of nice vegetables and chicken seasoned really good with crispy noodles on top. It was great :).
Overall we found our experience to be pleasant and we are 100% pleased. We will be back.

Food was very fresh, not out of a can or freezer. Very good flavor might of been just a little high priced, but I’ll still come back.

This place SUCKS! We got the Mogolian Beef, which was flavorless beef with spice on it. The General Tso Chicken was totally bland, again with just spice on it. The «fried rice» was literally white rice with fried egg, peas and what seems like butter. The only good thing we got was the chicken egg rolls, but they didn’t give us duck sauce, instead we got their version of «sweet & sour».YUK!!! Which totally ruined the egg roll. This place was totally not worth the $ 30 bucks we paid for. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE! Golden Dragon and Icheban I“ve heard are good so go to them instead. So pissed!

I like the Chinese Wok. It is the best place for Chinese food in Yelm, but it is definately American style Chinese food. Love that there is no MSG in anything and the veggies are always very fresh. It is a little pricey, though. I think they should either increase their portions or add more sides, or else decrease their cost by about 15%. This is Yelm, not Seattle.

Very friendly staff but average food. Not bad, not good, nothing to write home about. Stir-​friend veggies in my Happy Family were very fresh, and my partner’s chicken dish was fine, but all was underseasoned. It’s still better than Golden Dragon.

The beef tasted like cat food. The portions were small, the sweet and sour was to sweet AND too sour. Also two members of my party had «digestive disturbances» the next day. never going back.

Good food and decent sit down service-​No buffet though-​Not a big deal especially with the big portions.
