The food is good I will say but that’s about it. The place needs a face lift. The people who work there could be a little more friendlier. It’s a dive. It doesn’t mean I won’t go there cuz I do but it’s not all the time. I go there for the mimosas and my husband goes there for the screwdrivers. That’s only one we feel like having that. I don’t mean to put only two stars but it is what it is.

Jodys has great food, and good service. Love taking the kids here to eat, always plenty to keep them occupied.

Really used to enjoy eating here. After this morning, probably won’t be back, waited over 45 minutes for our food, they forgot my toast and my daughters toast with our meal. All of our meals were cool to barely warm. Our coffee cups sat empty for awhile before being refilled. Definitely not the same atmosphere I remember. Then we sat forever at the end to pay before learning that we had to go to the counter to pay, no one came around at the end as we patiently sat waiting and staring at them waiting for our bill.

Can I give no stars? I wasn’t really sure of what door was the entrance. Felt extremely uncomfortable the minute I walked in, no welcoming– barely a smile from the waitress. The menu is generic, got a cheeseburger and it wasn’t very impressive. I could have gone to Dairy Queen for a burger like that. My water was pretty warm. The door slams SO loudly every time someone walks in or out. That wasn’t very Pleasent– neither was the stupid conversation /men trying to talk to me through a row a liquor bottles that separated the bar area and the dining area. The waitress made me feel like I was an inconvenience. I won’t be coming back to this place, plus they really need to remodel. Really old and run down looking.

This place had recently been sold and has new owners. We have ate here for years and always liked the food. Our first visit there with new owners was terrible. We ordered 3NY strip dinners. The waitress said all the NY were gone but she offered us Rib Eyes instead. When the steaks came they seemed fine and then as I was eating the meat I started to notice a rancid rotten taste. The steak was bad. I asked my family to try it and they both spit the meat out. I was worried I would get sick but didn’t. We don’t eat there anymore because that steak really grossed us out. Lost our business after 3 years of being regulars.

Ate here every Saturday morning for years till about 6 months ago when we were transferred for work. and the service and food were outstanding. We moved back and were so excited to be able to enjoy Jody’s for breakfast again. TIMESHAVECHANGED! Same menu. My husband orders Chicken Fried Prime Rib for breakfast. A year ago this same meal was outstanding, thick prime rib, cooked well. TODAY, was served something close to a tough old Sirloin. The toast was soaked with butter to the point of being inedible. The cook comes out and asks how it is… to which my hubby replies, this is NOT Prime Rib. She then confesses they did not have Prime Rib and that was the best they could do. WRONG, the best would have been to come immediately back and share that there is no Prime Rib and give him an option of choosing something else. We will NEVER go back.

This is not really a rating or review but more of a warning! Wife and I wanted to try for the first time but was met with 3 ugly stares as we walked in. There were three older guys, two with there backs to us that reminded me of Linda Blair in the Exorcist, there heads almost doing a 360 as we walked in. So I ugly stared back to them to let them know I was not intimidated and I can do the ugly stare too. Must be the wanna be the gangster hang out and we walked into the little play sand box. Defiantly not Family Friendly! Don’t recommend unless you were looking to be ugly stared at.

Best breakfast. I had the fairway omelet. Huge and very fresh. The place is a dive but it was packed and now I know why

Great food but it is old and kind of a dive. Probably due to bar attached.

Blech. Tried this place, because I was stuck in town waiting on an appt and the atmosphere was just… awkward for anyone under 40. It was all old dudes and it had a musty smell I’m assuming is left over from the night before. It says it’s a family restaurant but it doesn’t look like the kinda place you’d take a family. Old, dark, dingy is more like it. The lady who runs it is actually really nice, though, so that’s one good thing… but the food was burnt or flavorless… and I know it wasn’t just mine because I could smell that burnt smell when they were cooking up someone else’ breakfast as well. Oh yeah, she DID have good coffee. So if all you were looking for was a place to sit and drink coffee while watching the news with barely any sound, it’d be ok but if you were looking for food or a good atmosphere… no not really.

Who would have thought! The last time I was in here was about 8 years ago and have times changes for Jody’s! The new owners(about 18 months ago) have REALLY turned this place around! It’s now a FAMILY restaurant Yes, there is a «lounge» area but the restaurant side is EXACTLY that! A restaurant! THEBESTBREAKFASTINALLOFTHEYELMANDSURROUNDINGAREA! My favorite is the Jody’s Favorite! You WON’T be disappointed!
