I work here. It’s Walmart… Please don’t come in while under any influence we notice… And or security follows you everywhere. Please stop stealing from us it costs us associates money, not the company… We see you stealing. We want to tackle your dumb ass. We can’t because its against policy, only our security can. We’re understaffed like any other Walmart its not our choice its from our market manager and ceo’s. Write them a letter instead of our store please… We can only do so much when we’re covering 4 areas and cashiering. That’s just one of us -.- … We bust our humps to keep the store clean and be customer friendly … Please be more courteous to us. We get enough bs from our managers we don’t need your bs too.

Typical Walmart you wait in line for 30 minutes while 5 or 10 employees stand around visiting

The store is always well stocked and well lit and very clean. However, the upfront staff could use some attitude adjustments. The fact that they still have the receipt nazis at the doors is a little ridiculous. I’ve had them stand in front of my cart because I wouldn’t show them my receipt(I’m not a thief, you have no right to keep me in your store, I don’t have to show you anything =)). I’ve had them ram their hand into my bag and steal my receipt out of my new property and get mad when I snatch it back. That is mine. You don’t just grab people’s things. These days most of them go «receipt?» and I go «no thanks, have a nice day» and continue on with my life. But the ones who get real crazy about it, are super crazy about it. I understand loss prevention, but I am calmly and quietly walking toward the exit with several bags of merchandise in your bags. Just because I have an unbaggable storage bin doesn’t really give you the right to harass me when you just watched me check out. So no thanks. Have a nice day.

Went to Tire & Lube on Sunday and there were only ~2 people working, busy in the shop. Nobody answered the buzzer. I could not get the lobby exit door opened, so had to exit the far way through the gargantuan Supercenter. I have definitely noticed a decline in personnel quality at Walmart tire centers. Over the last ~2 years they have changed from regular crews to a bunch of different newbies every other day. The problem is not so much the lack of technical experience as it is in unfamiliarity with policies and severe understaffing, especially on Sundays. I have observed this understaffing trend first at the Camas Supercenter where I used to be a regular, then east Vancouver, then at Roy Supercenter, Fed. Way stores, etc. So Sunday is especially a no-go for Tire & Lube service.

Nice and clean place here in Yelm, and I love how they blended the store with the surrounding area like they do on all their stores, good size parking lot and good prices here.

Clean and not super ghetto. Most people are fully dressed when shopping here. Which is rare for Walmart. HARDLYANYPJWEARERS!

I actually like how quiet this Walmart is. It is also really clean and well stocked. I go to this Walmart because it’s one of the few that have a Tire Lube Express. I drive the 15 – 20 mins it takes to get from Lacey to Yelm just because of the TLE. Now I know that one might say I could just go to Jiffy Lube or some other oil service shop closer to Lacey and get the same service. I don’t care, because not only are the people in this Walmart nice but I can get some shopping done without too much wait even at key times of the day. I’ve been on the weekends & at night and during lunch hour and it is usually quiet as a mouse and not a whole bunch of random kids running around or people walking around with sweatpants and Uggs and some sloppy shirt. I know… no lousy looking people at Walmart ?? What da eff. Anyway I really like this walmart and I’ll keep coming back as long as they keep the TLE. I wish they would have put a TLE on the new Tumwater store but of course try didn’t. I actually like how quiet this Walmart is. It is also really clean and well stocked. I really actually like this Walmart! I can’t say that about many of them, in fact the Lacey one makes me want to pull my hair out! This one has a fair amount of registers open and they seem to open more as they think it’s busier, which is HUGE over most Walmarts around. The only complaint that I would say is that some of the checkers are slow at times. Personally though, I’m not sure it’s a complaint to most people and it isn’t always to me. The checkers who seem to be the slowest are the ‘talkers’ and they all seem very pleasant and even though it takes me longer to check out I do ENJOY it while waiting. I know there have been times though where I just wanted to get in and out fast and it wasn’t possible. Still, overall this location is definitely better than any others I’ve been to in WA.

Your average Wal-Mart. You know the kind — ten thousand people in line but only two checker’s working. The only reason I force myself to go to this particular store is because it is the only ‘one-stop-shop’ in town. However, some days I think it would be faster to drive all over God’s green Earth rather than wait in line at Wal-Mart. And now they are doing«check point charlie» at the front door. There is line white haired elderly lady that is rude, rude, rude at the door. One day I seen her yell at a guy not to come back because he wouldn’t allow her to read his receipt. Ain’t no one got time for that! ;) Not a fan at all.
