READBEFOREGOING… Written by wife: THERESHOULDBENOSTAR rating. We were so excited to try the services of this home based nail salon. We were a few minutes late for our 11 am appointment that would last until 4 pm for 3 adult mani pedis and nail color change for a child. Upon arrival, the owner told my husband that we were too late for our 10:30 am appointment. I was totally baffled because I schedule my day and month with a planner and pencil. How could I have mistaken 11 for 10:30? I don’t, especially when reconfirming the entire date, day, and time more than once during our scheduling call. We could tell that upon seeing us, she immediately changed our appointment time to 10:30 am and wanted to refuse services because either we had young children(who were going to the local park and library during our services) who they thought«may stay» or because we were racially profiled because of our ethnicity. She couldn’t take one of us later at the next set of appointment times and stated that she could not accommodate our 40 minute delay at all. There was no follow up call for this delay prior to the appointment, something done for most people who have a big block of time scheduled for services. She never apologized for not being able to see us and kept saying that she didn’t want to «upset us.» Baffled and amazed at the lack of common decency would be my reaction, not upset. We are business owners and would NEVER conduct business this way with any of our customers. We operate our busy lives on a schedule that is planned the month and day prior to each event. The inefficiency and lack of regard for integrity, decency, and honesty is unbelievable. We probably should stick to our regular nail technicians.
