Hmmn, people seem to want everything for free these days I suppose. This is a great location, I much prefer it to the St Augustine store, which is strictly for tourists. If you can get to Yemassee then you deserve to be rewarded, and you will. I’ve bought so much Le Creuset stock over the past 10 years from this store its crazy. And I’ve picked up tons of gifts, some things the gift’ee had no idea what the item was for. The store has almost every item in their catalog, in every color, and always at discounts over the retail price. They have a room in the back full of discontinued and overstock cookware. This trip to Charlotte I bought an orange grill pan on closeout for $ 57, its 160 Simoleons on Amazon. And THAT is what I call a Bar-Goon! Store employees are very sweet and helpful. Make sure you pick up a bottle of cleanser with your new cookware, it will come in handy.

Meh, pricing is standard. Beautiful pieces, but we expect an outlet to have better prices than department stores. I’m okay with it, I was going to get my first piece if they’d been a ‘deal’. My first choice is still Staub. They haven’t ‘sold out’.

We found the store on our way going North to Jersey for a visit. Met wonderful employees there and bought some pans on sale. I already own a couple pieces. On our way home we stopped and bought some more. The store has so many items not seen in Macy’s and Penny’s, where i purchased my Le Creuset pots and pans. I have had a dutch oven for some thirty years and bake ware too. You get what you pay for .Just look for a good sale and spend it. You won’t be sorry.

Outlets aren’t what they used to be it seems. They are always expensive unless they’re having a surprise sale which lucky for us was the case. Had we not come when this sale was happening we would not have bought anything. On their price tags they list MSRP and their price, both of which are too much for my budget. Somewhat harassing older sales lady stalked us around the store and offered to take anything we looked at to the register. It was encroaching and unwelcome. She would ask, «do you want this?», and then after I said that we were just looking or something she’d ask if she could take it to the register for us.

Charlston SC is the port of entry for all of the product’s from Le Creuset which are shipped to the US from France. This is a factory outlet for their located at exit 33 right off interstate 95. Le Creuset products rarely are on sale, however you can get a good discount.

Though I generally like to cook, I really don’t get Le Creuset. These pieces are expensive. And I get that you may never need to replace them, but really: You could get several replacements for cheaper brands for the price of one Le Creuset. The thing that really gets me though is the concept of outlet stores. They used to be real outlets — where you would get a discount for merchandise that was slightly irregular or being phased out. No longer. Sure, there are patterns that are discontinued, like last year’s cobalt blue is not being offered any longer so they are marking it down 10% so that they can make room for this year’s hunter green, which later will be similarly marked down so they can make room for blue again. But that 10% really doesn’t make much difference, and there is still plenty of full-price merchandise in the store to boot. Not to mention the fact that you have to drive to Yemassee to get it. Probably not worth it for most people. At least you won’t have to pay to ship these monsters to your house. That would break most of us regular people. Note: This is actually the«Le Creuset» factory store — so unless you’re looking for the latest Motley album, you may not find this particular location. I’ve mentioned it, but as of yet, no updated name.
