The pizza is delicious. I always order large pie half pepperoni half cheese. Delivery is always prompt. Prices are great. Glad it’s in the area.

Not the best pizza in Yonkers, but definitely not the worst. The prices here are super cheap compared to other places. They make pretty good wings and their buffalo slice is delicious. Everyone inside has usually been super friendly to me so I’m not sure why there are so many negative reviews on their customer service.

Their pizza has changed over the years. It’s a family business, and since the son took over the place and the older man isn’t there as much, the pizza isn’t as amazing as it was years ago. The sons personality is so dry and unwelcoming.. . I know it’s just a pizza place, but the customer service should still count! Overall, a plain slice will work if I’m super hungry… otherwise, I think there’s better pizza in the area.

Worst pizza in Yonkers. The slices have the worst texture and their chicken parma are inedible.

You want amazing wings? This place is where you get them from. I literally would order them 3 nights out of the week and they were consistent and perfect every time.

I passed by this place often driving up and down Mc Lean. I went in one day to the atm and it smelled so good in there that I promised myself I would go back to eat. Well today I was running around taking care of errands like usual and decided to stop in. I couldn’t tell if the guy at the counter was just having a bad day or what but it made me feel a bit unwelcome. Either way the pizza was good can’t complain but I won’t put this place on my dining out rotation.

I’ve been living in Yonkers all my life and the only pizza I will ever eat is at Angelo’s. Trust me, they know how to make a pie. Even though they are famous for their buffalo slice, I prefer the amazing meatball slice!

I’ve been here a few times. I live on glover and this is the closet pizza spot to my house. The slices are mediocre at best. This place had been in business many years and it’s because of their location. There a much better place not far on McLean called Bella something. Save your 2.50 and some where with a good slice.

Great pizza. If you are looking for a classic cheese pie pizza this is your place. All of their pies are delicious and the service is great. My hang up is that they are slightly over priced compared to their peers who also make great pizza. I wouldn’t change anything except for the cost of their pies.

The rustico pie(tomato basil) was great! The wings(med) were okay– a little saucy for what I consider to be a medium wing, this was more of a BBQ sauce– but still okay. Best pizza I’ve had in this neighborhood so far.

Nothing beats a plain slice of pizza in my opinion and I can’t think of too many places that have as good a slice as Angelo’s. I grabbed a quick slice today at this modest looking pizzeria and I was impressed. Angelo Pizzeria will be visited again when I’m in Yonkers!

I feel blessed that I have so many good pizza places close to me and this is one of them. I really like the rustico slice with fresh tomato, garlic and basil. I only get pizza here. I think the key is that they have a very very hot oven and it doesnt take a genius to know that a hot hot oven makes the best pizza. Good neighborhood slice

Pros — Food can be absolutely wonderful whether you are ordering a slice, pie, or sandwich; have never had an entrée. — Delivery is fast and pleasant. —(Seemingly) very clean. — Pleasant staff. Cons — As stated above, the food can be absolutely wonderful. On the other hand, it can also NOT be absolutely wonderful. The good news, though, is that it never is anything awful but I do appreciate a place with more consistency. — Parking is a nightmare at all times of the day.

Had few slices. Crust was crispy and soft. Ingredients looked little stale. Slices are big and filling. I have eaten better pizzas. Wont go here again. Small place with very limited seating capacity,.

The first time I came in here, I only got a chicken parm slice. It was thick and I really like thin slices(what do you expect from a New Yorker?) and so I was expecting to not enjoy it as much. Just say I got two slices after that. Their slices are thick but super crispy crusty and pretty amazing I have to admit. The staff there is really nice too and usually you can find parking outside at one of the meters, or if not, on the side streets.

Honestly? Their Pizza is JUST okay. It’s cliché to say, but I’ve experienced so much better in the city. The only reason people eat here is because of the location; when there’s not that many pizza options and every place seems to over the same thing at different prices, you go with the closest and cheapest thing. And their service freaking sucks. I mean, I never have a «confrontation» with them so to speak, but hot damn, talk about rude and dismissive. If you want Pizza done way better in McClean, go to Sophia’s.

If you live in Woodlawn, this is where you should be ordering your Pizza for delivery. Their large pies are very large, 8 slices, NY style pizza. The dough is what makes this pizza great, and they tend to use the sauce sparingly so it’s not as soggy as other NY pizza places. The hot wings are pretty good too, usually get a large pepperoni pie and 10 wings for about $ 20 total delivered, not a bad deal !

I love the pizza here. It has just the right balance of sauce and cheese. Their tomato basil pie is my fave. I am generally not a NY style pizza person. I like mine Italian, with really thin, crispy crust. But if I have to have NY style, this is the place I like best. If you’re in the neighborhood or area, definitely stop by for a slice!

Perfect pie! You can’t beat this place. The dough is cooked perfect, the sauce has the right amount of zing, the cheese is toasty, and it all blends perfectly! They have the standard, NYC pizzeria fare too. The Jamaican patties, pepperoni rolls, heroes, and whatever else. It’s not a big place inside, and don’t expect to bring a huge crowd with you. There’s no fancy decorations, there is no server, there’s not a lot of decorations. There’s not even a lot of seating! You come here just for the food. It’s a neighborhood joint. Don’t come out of your way for this place. If you happen to be close, it’s worth it. Be nice to the Irish. This is their territory.
