Went here for lunch one day and had a horrible expereince. Upon eating my meal towards my last couple of bites to my sandwich I chomped down on a broken piece of toothpick that had been mixed into my sandwich. Ouch! This would have been my fault if there was a toothpick in my sandwich holding it together to begin with, but there was none. I immediately contacted the establishment and was able to speak with a manager by the name of Dino. He was able to rectify the matter; however, the only dissatisfaction I had in the way it was handled was when he tried to imply that maybe it was somehow my fault because typically toothpicks are in their sandwiches to hold them together. The next time I went and ordered the same exact meal on the house, not to my surprise there was again NO toothpick holding the sandwich together;however, thankfully this time there was no broken piece of toothpick in my meal.

This is my local Applebees. Very close to the house. I have been here quite a few times since they opened about 7 years ago. Service has always been good. Food is just like the other Applebees. And prices the same as well. Clean establishment and great sangria! Nothing to brag about nor complain about!

Service and staff are excellent! Love the food and adore the prices! I’ve been to numerous Applebee’s in the city and this one is the best. Actually I like the lighting can’t stand too much light and they have the perfect lighting for me!

Went here today, and like every other review prior, THESERVICEWASTERRIBLE! It was about 2pm, maybe 3 other tables. And it took them about 10 minutes to get us a high chair! The waitress then says«are you ready to order» we reply yes and she says«ok ill be right back»… Cut to 15 minutes later and us asking another server to please get ours so we could finally order!!! The food took over a half hour to come out! Sandwich and salad! I say to the waitress«I thought you forgot about us?»…(Since the food took so long, and the plates were burning hot from obviously being under heat lamps for too long)… She rudely, with an attitude responds«I dont do the cooking»… And rolls her eyes! Instead of being a professional and apologizing on behalf of the kitchen from running behind! But the BEST part(sarcasm)… While we were eating, the waitress would would almost up to our table with another server to show them our baby?! SEVERALTIMESTHISHAPPENED! Very rude & disrespectful!!! This restaurant will be going down the dumps simply for their horrible service and for being cheap with their lighting! Always so dark inside!

Happy to experience a different site of Applebee’s restaurant. I normally go to the 225th St. in the Bronx site which I believe they’re never happy however coming to this Applebee’s has been a success

Getting one star because there was not a «zero star» option. Terrible service, even in an EMPTY restaurant(and I use the term restaurant loosely). The steak special tasted like the cook scrapped it off the bottom of his shoe, and threw it on a plate. PLUS it came cold. I reported all concerns to the manager — he could care less!

I really dig this Applebee’s! It just has a cool vibe in my opinion! The service is usually so so & the food is what you would expect from this type of establishment. It’s always basically hit or miss. My boyfriend & I recently visited on a Sunday nite & we had a pretty damn good experience if I must say so! Our server(Kevin) did an exceptional job & was probably one the best waiter’s we’ve ever had at this place!(Way to go Kevin)! :-) We especially enjoy going to Applebee’s when we’re having a craving for some appetizers. We like to build our own sampler. A few of our faves: the spinach & artichoke dip, grilled chicken wanton tacos & the brew pub pretzels & beer cheese dip. The nice thing is that there’s a decent variety of appetizers to choose from so take your pick! For a main course I prefer to avoid any kind of steaks. The quality just isn’t there. Safe bets: salads, burgers, pasta, chicken… I don’t eat fish so can’t comment on that. You get the idea… Even if Applebee’s isn’t your cup of tea, this is a nice little spot to come have a drink &/or some finger foods. Maybe even some dessert… those are usually pretty damn good too!

I am currently sitting here now. We’ve been here for almost 20 minutes and have not even seen a server. Nobody has come to our table.

Well I ordered curbside pickup that it said to be ready at 605 — we were there waiting and at 620 finally called to make them aware we were waiting– JADE answered the phone and told me usually people go into pickup as k explained to her that my daughter was waiting and we ordered curbside for the convenience — she continued to tell me to come inside to pick up. Not too bright! Then continues to tell me the bartender is busy and that he’ll bring it out when he gets to it — finally get home after the manager brings it out and guess what — no quesadilla burger — no mozz sticks etc — thank you Applebee’s for sucking and jade — maybe it’s best you get a job where you don’t have to talk to people!

Came here for quick bite but took a lil longer than that. Small portions. It was ok. Nice waitress though … Pleasant & happy.

I’m glad I visited this place, so that I could remember how awful Applebee’s food is, and remind myself to never come back. The service was fairly slow, the atmosphere was as inviting and as friendly as you could want, but the food was truly disgusting. I couldn’t have been more disgusted if they had dumped a several month old frozen enchilada paired with Uncle Ben’s 90-second microwaveable rice, because that’s what they did. They just plated it more nicely than I would’ve. The only thing fresh on this plate might’ve been the jalapeño slices. Even the pico de gallo(which should be a fresh salsa) tasted shelf-stable for up through the apocalypse. If you already love Applebee’s, you’ll love it here. If you’ve adjusted your body to real food as I have — a hard feat in this day and age of convenience food, then stay the heck away from here.

This review is for beer and wings only. Get them at happy hour(basically the entire day) or don’t go. Pro tip: you have to sit at the bar to get the happy hour prices on beer. Sitting in the restaurant area is full price. Great business model.

DONOTORDERCURBSIDETOGO. Or come to this restaurant in a rush. They do not come out to your car with your food unless you call. And then they’ll tell you that you’re supposed to come out even though there is a sign advertising curbside to go, which anywhere else means that they will bring your order out. You pay for your food ahead of time AND tip, but that bears no weight on how or when you get your food. The service even when there’s no one in the restaurant is unbearably and unbelievably slow although few servers are decently nice. Being nice isn’t enough when you are spending your money. I missed a work meeting attempting to get a sandwich to go for lunch and then the fries were not fresh. I only came back because it was opposite the hotel I was staying at and one of the halfway decent places nearby.

If you’re thinking Applebee’s tonight, I severely implore you to reconsider. The worst service of any restaurant in the area. The absolute, definitive worst. Tonight counts as the second time I have walked out without ordering, due to the simple fact that I was ignored for 5 minutes after sitting down. They were not busy, but they emit the illusion that they’re constantly understaffed and rushed. Get your shit together. I will absolutely not be back.

I’m not an Applebee’s guy, at all. This was the best Applebee’s I’ve ever been to. My 3 friends had some Wonton taco apps. They each followed up with $ 6.99 burgers on a Monday night. We watched the football game at the bar. We drank many discounted beers and margaritas. The staff is the reason this place rocks. Our bartender«Jorge» really cared. He took pride in his job and we noticed. The other server in the bar area was also very nice to his guests. We noticed that they say goodbye to their guests and wish them safe travels. Job well done Jorge and Co.

Very slow service. Nice people. Average overpriced food. I odered a burger. For 12 dollars you get a 4 oz burger. I ask for dessert menu it took about 30 minutes. Bartender is nice just horrible consolidation skills. I’m tired and ready to go to sleep. Still waiting for service Stay away

Not too impressed. It just seems to be less clean than other Applebee’s locations. Less attention and long lines.

Used to go for the happy hour appetizer deals. We did not go in a while and went today to find out the beef sliders were replaced. They were our favorite half price appetizer and they replaced it with brisket sliders which has diced pineapple in it. This is pure garbage. What were they thinking? This was so disappointing and the quesadillas and pot stickers did not help the situation. The oreo milkshake was terrible as well. It was more full of crushed ice than the actual milk or shake that it was supposed to be. Also, the waitress forgot to bring my glass of wine. Luckily I was not charged for the wine on my bill. We paid and just left feeling like we just got ripped off both our taste buds and and my wallet. We are probably not coming back to Applebee’s for anything happy hour related. These new half price appetizer deals are a catastrophic failure and I hope they somehow make it their priority to bring back the beef sliders and send the brisket sliders into the abyss for good.
