What an awesome spot! Short drive from the city in a quiet neighborhood in Yonkers for fantastic food and drinks at the fraction of the cost of the city. Great service as well!
Definitely come by for a cool, casual atmosphere you’ll certainly love! You might see us over here as well :)

Don’t be put off by the fact that there aren’t a lot of customers here. The food is great. Upscale bar food, at a good price. The owner was great (he does all the cooking himself), and the drinks were pretty darn good to. Worth a try if you’re in the area. The only downfall, a lot of stuff on the menu isn’t available.

Wow. What a disappointment. Servers friendly but not well trained. Food not timed correctly and came out at all different times. My burger was tasteless. The bun was soggy on one side and stale on the other. The egg was forgotten and then rushed so the white was runny which totally turns me off. Who uses penne pasta for crocks of macaroni and cheese? Totally wrong pasta so it didn’t grab the flavor or the cheese. No salt and pepper on any of the tables. At least 3 – 5 items were no longer available at 7:15pm on a Friday so obvious poor ordering/​planning by someone. My Diet Coke was not coke or else the tap was goofed because it was weak and not sweet. I had been looking forward to coming here since it opened. Bummer.

It was late, I was hungry and I Unilocaled.
And to my surprise a bistro popped up with all good reviews, there is a reason…
It’s awesome. Come quick because you may not get in a few months from now…

Okay. I passed this place by a few times. Made the stop tonight. Started with drinks and the waitress asked what we like, surprised us and was spot on. Now on to the food…
Pros: waitress was super nice and accommodating. Veggie sandwich was totally worthy.
Cons: it’s kind of all bar food. If you’re in the mood for fried food… Do it.

Freaking place kicks ass, have dinner there every chance I get, bistro burger, tempura chicken, steaks, soups are insane the menu is non stop, and a great atmosphere for yonkers pride

Came here on Mothers Day for brunch … Everything about this place was amazing!
Amanda was our server she was friendly and extremely attentive!
Everyone that worked there even the chef was very nice to us !!

Hidden gem! Don’t hesitate in trying this cozy eatery. Service was impeccable. Atmosphere was warm and friendly. I will definitely revisit and support this local business. Kudos to a wonderful establishment.

Love this little hideaway. Don’t let the off the beaten track stop you from stopping by. The décor is fab and the food is something to write home about. We had the Dragon Chicken & the Loaded Potato Puffs as an app, Yum, yum, yum. The Angus burgers and Gorgonzola chicken were done perfectly with just enough flair. I highly recommend you try this cute place. Plenty of parking on the side streets if you don’t get a spot right outside.

My friend & I were here for the very first time last night and what an impression. Jesse was our server, and not only was he friendly, but so knowledgeable about the food and drinks (so very rare to find now a days in this business). Gene the owner, stopped to chat with us and tell us about all the upcoming events and fun things they have going on each night. I loved the décor especially the lights on the wall that reminded me of the electric company cards from monopoly. :). The food & drinks were terrific. I can’t wait to go back and try more, especially Sunday brunch and see the artists they have there. This is definitely a great new place worth going to. So happy it’s close to home in Yonkers.

The décor of the restaurant is beautiful– they definitely put some thought into the design.

They have a wide wing sauce selection (then your average)
My favorite dish overall has to be the chicken Marsala !! It’s a dish that is available on Sunday only (I think double check)

My brother and I went here last night because his son is a chef there. I’d seen all of the wonderful reviews and pics so I was extremely excited to eat here
Upon arrival we were immediately greeted by Michelle. She was so nice and pleasant and she let us sit wherever we wanted. It wasn’t crowded so once we ordered we got our food pretty quickly. The owner Gene, came over and introduced himself to us. He was so down to earth and just seemed like a nice guy.
For dinner I ordered the tempura chicken strips with mac and cheese. For my beverage, the toasted almond! Everything was really good. very pleased! Cannot wait to go back!

Came here last night for dinner! I live right down the street from this place & I’ve always had good things about it. Nice to see a trendy & great looking bar open up close by. Had the chicken sandwich & shared pork quesadillas and 914 Fries with my girlfriend. All the food was delicious & the service was very attentive. I will definitely be back to try more food. This place advertises some great happy hour special & when I can I’ll be sure to make it for that too.

Love this place! The owners are nice, staff is great, & the chefs Darrell and Joe definitely know what they’re doing in the kitchen! I recommend the pulled pork nachos! Also the drink menu is amazing. You won’t won’t find drinks like this anywhere else. Will definitely be back!

When there for the first time on a Friday night with friends who had heard about it. Well it’s definitely a good thing for yonkers, the food was very good and so where there drinks. It is definitely a tumbs up to to try. The waiter was very nice and new the menu very well, the bartender makes some very good drinks. The bartenders drinks are like no other place. Will definitely go again and i wanna try there brunch. And i love that they are close by since this review been there twice

I’ve been waiting for this spot to finally open and I was not disappointed. My girlfriend and I gave it a try since we’re right around the corner, so its super convenient.
Let me start by saying, the food was absolutely awesome!!! Had the vodka shrimp bruschetta and the Mac and cheese balls with 8 different cheeses as tan appetizer and they were both on point. My girl ordered the espresso rubbed hanger steak and I had their burger. I have to say they were both very good! Our server suggested the bourbon crème brulé… Not normal!!!
For our server Lisa, she was very attentive. Even one of the owners, Gene (neighborhood guy) came over not once, but at least 3 times to check on how things were and also to offer us samples of specialty drinks that were from their cocktail menu. He was even kind enough to give me a taste of a premium tequila, which I enjoyed and ordered. I always appreciate when an owner comes to your table to make sure you’re comfortable and that everything is enjoyable. This place has a pretty good vibe and the décor is cool too. They’re very dedicated to Yonkers as well, which can’t be missed.
I’m very pleased to have this type of restaurant in my neighborhood. It’s just what we needed. They have a happy hour from 4 – 6 and also at night from 11−1am. Not many places do that. They even have a late night menu, which I’ll be sure to check out and so should you!

If you have not gone, you need to ENJOY yourself and there is no better place I can think of than BISTRO 914!

From first walking into this place you can see the attention to detail in every aspect. From floor to ceiling the décor is fun, creative, and sophisticated. The drink menu is filled with options for everyone from a Pineapple Jalepeno martini to a classic Yonkers lager. The NY Bistro pretzel was out of this world with homemade mustard dipping sauce. With the small plate theme we were able to try a little bit of everything. Amazing Mac and cheese and Dragon Chicken Tempura.
Cant wait to go back! Highly recommend for those looking for great food and an atmosphere to match.
