Fun Irish place with a good Irish band the night we went(Sunday night before St Patty’s Day). REALGOOD prime rib here!!! Service good, could have been quicker. Prices on. Full crowd but fun people.

So I’m sitting here… Right now… And no one has asked if I wanted anything to eat or drink. I can see the staff running back and fourth but I still haven’t had any acknowledgement. I’ve been here for 15 minutes. Ok I’m out.

The food was just a shade better than the service. The service was awful. The funny thing is there was somebody else loudly complaining about the same thing. The app was definitely out of the microwave. The chicken was frozen and tough. The seafood must have been fished out of the sewer. There’s a lot of better Irish spots around here: rory’s, Katie’s, heritage… never again!

So here’s the thing, I’m from Jersey. Maybe two time a year I make it over to Yonkers to visit some college friends of mine. For end of the night cocktails we have always wound up here. This would be my second time here as of a few days ago so of course I had to write a review about it. Cute place, extremely spacious, plenty of seats at the bar with quite a few TVs. The first time I was here there was an elderly man bartending. He is awesome! I was so happy to see him still there right where I left him for my second visit a year later. Nice guy, makes good stiff drinks with quick service. The first time I was here I was actually hiccuping really bad and he showed me some old Irish bar recipe that made the hiccups go away. To even my surprise, it worked! I was in awe! I would love to tell you all the secret but I’ll leave it so you guys can go and figure it out for yourselves. The best part is the drinks are inexpensive. $ 5 for a jack and coke. My friends boyfriend bought a round of shots for all of us and the price for that was just awesome. For a local area low key dive bar, I consider this place a win in my book!

Had dinner on two occasions recently. I enjoyed the blackened salmon and bangers and mashed. They have karaōke with host Nick every Monday, starting at 8 pm.

So I decided to go to The Glenrowan after a recommendation by my mom’s boyfriend. I went in on a Thursday night to watch the Knicks game. Decent crowd for around 9 pm. The bartender was an older gentleman whom everyone seemed to know by first name — awesome guy too as he was very helpful. I think everyone who works here has an Irish accent. Anyways, I got a couple of beers(I think about $ 4) and then decided to get the beer-battered chicken tenders. I know people say they are good for their burgers, but I wanted to try something else. I don’t think the bartender heard me say crispy fries, but outside of that, that was my only complaint. I have never had such light and crispy chicken before. The batter, which I am used to breaded chicken, had enough crispiness to it except for one or two pieces. Again, I’m sure if you ask for it crispier, it would be perfect. That with some nice thick fries and a cold beer made for a great evening. Well the Knicks being up by a lot sure does help too!

Don’t get me wrong here,… the food is great, but try to get a drink discount at «Happy Hour» there is no «Happy Hour!» their web-site states ‚“Happy hour on Thursday’s between 3−7pm. «You literally have to go through a chain of command to be approved for the discounts. That’s all I have.

Awesome burgers and fries. Soups are always great. Ribs, chicken fingers and scallops are also favorites. One of my favorite places in the neighborhood.

For a bar it’s not the worst honestly it just depends on your taste. The place is pretty large and it’s also pretty rundown. I went to watch a Giants game and the place was pretty busy with a big party going on in the front. I ordered a bunch of food from potato skins, fish n chips, wings and I wasnt really happy with anything. It was fancy at all which I dont care about but it just kind of looked like crap. I dont need fancy presentation in a bar but this was just greasy, overfried, overcooked frozen food section garbage. I guess if you need a beer it’s good enough but don’t come here hungry.

This is one of my favorite restaurants. The owners are so great catering to their customer. Appetizers that I love are th breaded musrooms, chicken fingers, zucchini sticks and stuffed mushrooms. They have the best Prime Rib in Town, Leg of lamb, Bear battered Shrimp/chicken finers /bbq ribs and The Big BOUY Steak are my personal favorites. They make the best beef barley soup I have ever had. Fresh potatoes and veggies famyly style. I love their chocolate cake and lemon cake. Prices are so reasonable and they have entertainment on the weekends. Great family restaurant.

Yeah day drinking! Actually I stopped in for lunch… and a few brews. I’ve passed this place for years now and never stopped in. Probably because it’s 8am whenever I pass by, but I had been meaning to check it out. It’s actually a lot bigger than I thought. The bar goes all the way around and there is seating in the back too. The bartender was very nice. Yuengling on tap is also very nice. My barometer for food is usually a burger, since I figure if you can screw that up how in God’s name can you make anything else. The burger did not disappoint. It was juicy and delicious with golden fries. Very good. I’m completely looking forward to returning and maybe trying the fish and chips.

Good Irish pub atmosphere with a nice selection of beers and very friendly staff! I have been here for music a few times and really enjoyed myself. They draw a good crowd — mixed age group and happy! The food is standard — no raves or complaints. You won’t be disappointed.

A good bar for those in the Yonkers area. My sister and I LOVE this restaurant! Great burgers and solid service in this Irish pub. The food is wonderful and the staff is friendly and attentive! The owner, and his wife are frequently walking around greeting patrons and making sure everyone is comfortable. Great musicians on Friday nights at the jam session!. Very enjoyable experience.
