Carvel Ice Cream

The best ice cream I have ever tasted! It taste very fresh– wish they had more of these stores. Had the Oreo mint they don’t carry the flavor anywhere else. Girl at the register was very nice and fast.

Carvel makes great tasting ice cream. They have a good selection. The service here is great. The servers are always patient and willing to give samples. I usually get a waffle cone.

For the last 10 years I’ve been coming to this ice-​cream shop. Their ice cream is fresh and good customer service. The only reason why I’m not giving it five stars is because some of their employees smoke right in front of the shop and as a non– smoker the smell of cigarettes when eating a delicious ice cream is unappealing to me.

I’ve been to this location many times over the past several years. You usually have to wait… Even when there’s barely a soul in the place. Last visit, there only appeared to be one girl working behind the counter. There were about 3 people in front me. The only reason she got to me a tad quicker is because I think they were out of whatever the customer ahead of me was ordering. Then, as I sat eating my ice cream, a lady walked in. I guess as she approached the counter the girl must’ve hollered from the back that she’d be right with her. I only heard the customer’s response… «Take your time! I’m in no hurry at all». — Well then… you’ve come to the RIGHT place!!!
The store is cute. They have 2 tables with chairs to sit at & also 2 chairs in the front of the store as well. If you’re getting ice cream they have 5 sizes to choose from. I usually go with the small soft serve and that is a GOOD amount of ice cream.
If you’re a patient person & craving some ice cream, this place should do just fine…

Love love love this carvel! It’s very welcoming and the employees are great. Love coming here on Wednesdays for buy one get one.

This Carvel is great. It’s a family run operation, so you really feel like you’re supporting a neighborhood business and not a chain. Also, they hire kids from the neighborhood, which creates a sense of community. The kids working the counter are good — I’ve never had any mistakes in my order or anything like that. Freddie is my favorite, he’s really nice. Even when there’s a long line, you never have to wait long because they really hustle up and keep it moving.
I’ve had shakes, regular ice cream, soft serve and cakes done here and it’s all consistently good.

I grew up in this store, soft serve, ice cream with all the toppings, ice cream sandwiches, and ice cream cake.
Every birthday my family would get all of us carvel cake, best with vanilla and chocolate and crunchies!
I grew up and every year I only wanted cookie puss.
And then they came out with Fudgie the Whale omggg so delish and my new family favorite.
And the mint chip. My favorite, the owner of this Carvel knows who I am, and doesn’t even asks, he just grabs the Large cup and fills it up with mint chip and hands it to me. I have to get it every week. How am I not a fat girl?
