Great food. Charming atmosphere. Great night crew. Ribs were tender. And the spicy BBQ sauce was the best! Creamy cheesy mac and cheese. And free ice cream! What?! Can’t wait to eat here again.

Super surprised. Heard it was a gain restaurant. And BBQ? Has to be horrible. Right. You would be wrong. Ordered 1 pound of brisket. And rib plate. Both was great. Brisket not that juicy. But good. Waffle fries and 2 other sides made for a good meal. Guy behind counter serving us was super nice. Definitely will be back.

Went there today, ribs where fresh and tender with the original sauce. Place is nice and enjoyed my food with a cold beer. The only thing I found wrong was that the mens bathroom was not that clean. There was a metal cabinet and on the top of it there was catering metal racks. Guys good place, find other place to store these items.

Really good tender meat at dickies. Order at the counter and sit down spot. Pretty good sides free self serve ice cream and cone (too full to try but looked good). One of the better bbq I’ve had here in NYC area.

I’m giving Dickey’s three stars because the food is good and the price is right. Is it great barbecue, no. But it’s darn good and it’s local for me. I’d rate them 3.5 or a little higher if I could.
The specials are a bargain. Each night they offer something different for $ 8.95 with two sides and a drink. The ribs are very tasty and pull off the bone, marbled beef brisket is good and the turkey is very moist. Sausage is a bit on the spicy side even though we didn’t order the spicy one. I will add that the sides are very good, much better than Dinosaur BBQ in Stamford. Mac & Cheese, mashed potatoes, cole slaw and green beans with bacon all a favorable 3.5. The sweet tea is just right! Restaurant is clean and they have about 6 tables if you choose to dine in, clean bathroom. I believe there is one or two small tables outside with 2 chairs each.

I’ve been here a few times and I generally eat the rib plate with a side of waffle fries and Mac n cheese … The price is 14.95 $ and the taste is excellent… I have also tried the pulled pork and polish sausage sandwich and it was very good.. they have a very good spicy bbq sauce that adds the perfect amount of kick … Living in Yonkers there aren’t many places that serve good bbq so this place is perfect for anyone in the area needed to get their bbq fix…

Got the pulled pork it was so tender and flavorful. Mac and cheese and fried okra
are also delish. Spicey cheddar sausage
did not disappoint. Free ice cream for dessert. Who knew, great tasting BBQ right in the middle of busy Central Ave.
If your in the area check it out, you will be glad you did.

This has become my families favorite Sunday night dinner spot. I’ve been fortunate enough to travel and eat all over the country and this is some of the best bbq hands down! My son loves the Mac and cheese. If ordering the brisket, get it chopped. The staff is really friendly and welcoming each and every visit. My favorite find on our last visit was the Turkey!

Staff was very up beat! Samples are given prior to ordering. This spot is definitely the alternative to fast food, the price is the same, & you get free ice cream. Brisket, mac & cheese, mashed potatoes were good. 1st time there & it was an overall good experience. Keep up the good work.

A hidden gem alongside of central ave here in Yonkers. Great staff, great food, and its different from the rest of the fast food places here. I highly recommend it.

This place is hard to spot being tucked away on a little hill along busy Central Avenue. The meat is smoked on site and is kept moist and well maintained without it becoming drippy and soggy.
Ribs are dry rubbed and smoked but have a little too much salt but that’s understandable given they use the franchise blend seasoning. Aside from that they are large and very juicy. Had their brisket at a different time and it was prepared well and sauced right. The sauces available are not very different from each other but the base sauce is a nice spice blend with a little liquid smoke and some mild chili pepper for added for kick.
Staff is friendly and very approachable. The owner is there most days and keeps just as busy as the rest of the staff. Mac and cheese taste like it’s microwaved which is possible given that its a franchise but the meat is the real pleaser. For a chain restaurant they are above the rest locally.

OMG the food is amazing!!!
And if you know ANYTHING about southern food this is the place to find it. I’m a New Yorker but my dad was raised in Alabama and Dickeys has fried okra!!!
The staff was great and friendly and couldn’t have been more helpful on a Sunday night.
Came in to get dinner, ended up bringing food home for two teenagers and can’t wait to hear what they have to say about the sweet tea. They were raised on Papas sweet tea.

This place is great. I love the brisket. Smoked house salad is great. Free fat free ice cream to accompany your fatty meal, what more could you ask for. Drinks are not this places strong suit but the menu is great. And prices are a little hight to be as fast food place. Overall this place is pretty nice.

I love it there! The chicken on the big barbecue sandwich is great with no onions and pickles! The potato salad and Cole slaw are excellent!!! Can’t beat the ice tea and the free vanilla ice cream for dessert!

Walked in to a empty establishment during lunch so I wasn’t expecting much and was expecting the worst. However I was surprised that the food was actually pretty decent. I enjoyed it a lot!
Menus are a bit confusing at first because of all the selection. I would probably change the way they have it laid out to make it a bit easier for new people to order. Staff was super friendly and food was prepped fast. I ordered the ribs and they were great. They had great flavor and fell off the bone. The Mac and cheese was awesome and the loaded mash potatoes were the best I’ve ever had. The only thing I didn’t like was the prices for the amount of food you get but when it comes to good food it’s worth it. Their location is right on central ave so it’s easy to get too. Lots of parking and they have seating for both indoors and out.
If you are in the mood for BBQ this is the place to go.
