If you decide to shop here, but you’re looking for a bargain, you better know how to haggle and well. If you’re more interested in finding the right piece and aren’t opposed to paying market value, this place is worth checking out. 25,000 square feet on one floor that looks like it could be a museum, and there is more than one floor. I think an appointment is necessary. They have mostly original pieces, many from the 19th century, a generous selection of opium beds(didn’t know that’s what they were before), quite a few trunks, chairs and tables, vases, ginger jars, and so on. I was here with a friend who was looking for a trunk. He ended up finding one in the city for about $ 600 as opposed to one for $ 1,000 here.(I guess in the city, they want to move their stock faster.) Granted, the trunks here were in beautiful condition. They do restoration work. One thing I’m not so keen about is that they use Pledge. I’ve learned never to use that stuff on antiques, but I suppose that’s debatable.
