We had our sons communion party at Reno’s and the food was amazing and the service was outstanding. Reno himself constantly checked in to ensure that everything was ok. The sauce on the pasta tasted very homemade and the food in general was very authentic and delicious.

SUPERB!!! I HADTHEZUPPADIPESCEANDITWASAMAZING. Everything cooked to perfection, including the linguine fini. It did not have just a lot of cheap fillers like calamari and mussles. It had those ingredients as well as crab legs, jumbo shrimp, and pieces of fish fillet. The portion was large, but not ridiculous– you can see the chef understands that great food involves finesse. I look forward to trying other items on the menu.

Excellent food and great service. I took my aunt there last evening and we shared one of the specials on the board. It was pasta with calamari, scungili, clams, olives, and garlic in wine sauce. Never had that kind of big pasta before. It was delicious. The service was very attentive and not rushed. All in all, perfect and highly recommended.

A place off the beaten path that serves ‘REAL” home style traditional Italian food at a reasonable price. The owner, Reno is always there to welcome you and make sure your meal is on point.

We had an absolutely wonderful evening at Reno’s! It was like going to Rome without leaving NYC!!! We stumbled upon this gem by accident and can’t wait to go back! The Carbonara is a thing of beauty with a silky and savory sauce that only a native Italian chef can make. We ordered a dinner size of the appetizer clams and it was amazing. The hints of garlic and basil in the well seasoned broth turned the littleneck clams into delightful bites of flavor. We could have soaked the broth up with bread and called it an evening. But then the Chicken Marsala came out. Covered in mushrooms and a marsala wine sauce that was absolutely perfect. An order of their home made Tiramisu was a fine finish to a magnificent dinner. We also met the charming and engaging owner, Reno who took personal pride in making sure our dinner was perfect. We showed up during their live opera evening and enjoyed the performance from a charming table in their nicely stocked bar. Good service, fantastic food, friendly owner — what more can you ask for? Just make sure you go hungry because Reno’s has a lot that will satisfy your appetite!

My family orders from them for most family big party events. Reno is the best! We secretly consider him part of our family, he’s helped us celebrate my grandmothers big 100 bday, and been there for baby showers, etc. Always on time, delicious and accommodating.

I love reno and renos. Place is old school. Italian with great food and Reno is a class act. The pasta fagioli is fantastic as is the arrabiata sauce. Alot of places act like they are doing you a favor… not here. The staff treats customers like they are special !

I Love Reno’s. This is a classic Italian American, white tablecloth, candlelit restaurant with delicious entrée’s at moderate prices, however the portions are suitable. Portions are not skimpy nor family style, their smack in the middle. The owner is Italian and one of the head waiters is an older Italian gentlemen that really dresses the part of and old school waiter from an Italian restaurant(Penguin suite) lol. They are always smiling and inquiring about your experience, which is nice. The food is great, and the marinara sauce has a nice taste. You can tell a lot about a restaurant based on how their red sauce taste, and Reno’s sauce is good. All of the entrée’s I have tried overtime have been consistently good-great. Overall in a city filled with pizzerias and Italian restaurants, Reno’s is definitely one of my top choices.

Reno’s is one of our favorite spots. I grew up in the area, and it has been consistently great food for years, and that’s saying something. First for the food. The menu is expansive and there are very few things that don’t look amazingly appetizing. We generally order off the specials board, though. They have a salmon in a Dijon sauce that is really something to write home over. The sauce is creamy with just a little kick at the end, it doesn’t overpower the salmon, but compliments it really well. They also regularly have buffalo mozzarella as a special appetizer. It comes with prosciutto, roasted red peppers and a drizzling of olive oil and pepper. The cheese melts in your mouth. Their fried calamari is also wonderful. Now for the ambiance. The restaurant is warm and cozy with an old-world feel to it. The dining area is pretty dim at night, but it’s a nice calming environment. It isn’t an overly loud establishment either. You can choose to eat in the dining room or snag a table in the entrance were the bar is(the bar tends to be quieter than the dining room and better lit) The service is also on point. Reno is a great guy who loves greeting everyone at the door. He regularly makes his way around to check on each table and have a little chat. He’s a really warm, friendly and interesting man. All of the waiters are exceptional, as well. Many have been there for years and can talk your ear off about the menu. Reno’s is generally one of our favorite«go-tos» for good Italian, and I can’t see that changing anytime soon.

Very good food, especially this Calamari alla Reno with a spicy dipping sauce. I also love the chocolate lava cake for dessert. Best Italian food in Yonkers!

Good food and drink at a reasonable price. Add a great owner/host and you have a real gem. Pasta dishes are enormous. Try the caramel pasta. It’s homemade. For an appetizer, we had the calamari which was cooked perfectly.

I ordered over GrubHub for pick up. The food was prepared within 20 minutes and I got there as soon as they called me to notify me that the food was ready. So, I expected the food to be extremely warm and fresh. Guess what? It wasn’t! I ordered calamari, it was cold and soggy… well that defeats the whole point of calamari. I did like the marinara sauce that came with it though. I also ordered the chicken parm, cold. But it was tasty. It was really expensive for its size though. My sister ordered pollo alla caprese, cold. There was a good amount of cheese and tomato over the chicken and the sauce was good. But the chicken was a little too dry. My brother ordered the spaghetti allo scoglio, cold. The pasta was a little undercooked, in my opinion. The veggies and potato that came with it, cold and soggy. If you haven’t gotten the point already then let me say it again, everything was COLD. I was so disappointed! What should’ve been a good dinner became a big let down. But the place is modern and the staffs are nice, I give them that.
