To read the stupidity of a review that sees a business close is beyond me reading what these morons have to write. This sad time showing the way America is going all I have to say is shame on them.

It amazes me how people are actually writing reviews to express their stupidity with comments like«thank god they closed» Are you people serious!!! This place beat any other«Italian restaurant» in Yonkers to date. FAR better than any other that existed before it in that location and any other that claims to be anything more than a glorified pizzeria to date. Siena’s was a gem with its creativity and authenticity and I am not the only one who is sad to see it is no longer there. Excellent food and cozy atmosphere. Siena’s we miss you… Come back soon!

CLOSED! For Sale sign on the door. I have to make this longer so it counts as a review but I think you should know before you try to go there.

I was going to give it only a one star but the waitress was so nice and the bread was fresh and delicious, but that’s where anything good ends. I went there to try it out with my father and after seeing the reviews all from last year I thought why not try it. Yes it’s small and intimate setting but it’s in major need of a face lift. The owners when acquiring this space never changed the décor from the previous restaurant. The chairs were all chipped and we had to switch tables because our table was wobbling so badly I thought our drinks would fall over. being one of 2 tables occupied that evening you would think we would have been greeted immediately, nope instead what we thought was a bar patron was told us to just seat ourselves the girl was busy cooking, so he must have been perhaps an employee who was too busy watching tv at the bar. The floor was dirty, the décor was outdated and the walls were marked up. But that’s not even the worst of it. We ordered something simple. I ordered the chicken francese and my father stuffed shrimp. The chicken was tough, not tender. And it was sitting in a pool of tasteless yellow substance that I’m assuming was supposed to be a butter wine sauce. It was most likely pure melted margarine instead of real butter. No taste of wine or lemon that is supposed to be used when making francese. The bigger offender was the fact that they don’t even salt and pepper the meat before cooking it. It came with a side of potato croquettes which just seemed to continue the blandness in my meal. I tried eating but couldn’t. My father’s stuffed shrimp was no better, but being a man he ate it because he was hungry. The sauce that came with his penne looked, smelled and tasted like someone opened a can of sauce and heated it up. Yes it was that bad. The waitress was nice enough to remove my meal from the bill, not that I would have paid for it anyway. Needless to say all those great reviews were for when they must have had a better chef and a staff that actually cared for the dining room. Now it’s something that you just need to keep on driving past.

I really wanted to like this place. The service was fantastic, the manager(owner?) is attentive, the bartender was professional quick and friendly. The whole air of he place was lovely, and it even rubbed off on the patrons waiting at the bar for tables. It was my first time there and they treated me like a returning dignitary. but the food, oh the food. It was bad, not a little bad, really bad. We ordered a calamari appetizer with cherry peppers, white wine and lemon– what we got was rubbery over cooked fried calamari with a side of tomato sauce. The veal was bland and rubbery, I got a side of sauted spinach that was so salty I couldn’t eat it– I didn’t even bring the left overs home to the dog. I forget what my date had, but he was equally disappointed. I’m hoping we just caught them on an off night, but when none of the food was remotely redeemable, Im not sure I can try it again.

Last night, Christmas Eve, a party of five, with my son and his infant twins, we went to Sienna’s for the first time. Parking is quite adequate and the location is terrific, right off the NY Thruway, near Yonkers Raceway. A small establishment, tastefully but modestly done. I would highly recommend reservations. We needed two high chairs for the babies, and we were accommodated. We were met by a gracious owner named John and a lovely maternal waitress. The food was unbelievable, every thing better than the last. The gin and tonic I had was a stiff one, and I needed it, while the appetizer of fried Calamari Arabica(I think it is named) was not too spicy, not too hot, was delicious in every way, a mixture of fried calamari with mildly hot red and green peppers and onions, a signature dish of theirs I was told. My wife had the mussels appetizer, excellent in every way. My son had the clams Oreganata, again great. I had Veal Parmesan, I think the best I have ever had, despite growing up in an Italian area. It was tender and the marinara sauce was perfect, not oily or bland. Delicious. It came with sautéed string beans in garlic oil, again perfect. The food for everyone was outrageous, but most outstanding was the graciousness of the staff. My son himself was cranky, and my granddaughter of 1 year was out of sorts in the extreme. John the owner, and the waitress were so polite, easy going, helpful, and caring I cannot describe. Needless to say, the food they specially prepared for the children was all over the floor, and they did not seem to mind. I will tell everyone I know how great this tiny restaurant is.

Looking for a cute friendly place to meet friends for a drink or dinner, that’s just what I girlfriend and her husband and i meet before going to the casino. I got there early and was greeted by the owner and very friendly bartender. The fresh made bloody marys were great. we all sat down and had the brunch special, it was well worth it. the appetizers are nice choices and the eggs were cooked just the way we had asked. And the second drink was made as good as the first. I will be back to try the dinners.

Everytime we come here we enjoy our meal. Maybe one time was mediocre, otherwise, always great meals. The quality of the cuisine usually exceeds the price. Great value! Wine list is good too. Aldente really means Aldente. Chianti reserva by the glass is a joy. Clams oregenata is really good! The chick scarp us made how u like it. All the dishes are made as u wish. Sunday boozie brunch is on my bucket list.

Came here for a Paint Nite last week… purposely went early to have dinner before the event. We walked in and the Paint Nite guy was setting up. We were the only ones there. I was not hopeful. I immediately decided the food would be bad. I refused to order a seafood dish. A couple came in a few minutes later and ordered the seafood salad. It looked AMAZING. So, we decided to order a seafood appetizer… a «special»…Shrimp and Clams Oreganata. While I have had more flavorful clams Oreganata, the clams and shrimp were very fresh. For dinner, I ordered Pappardelle Siena. YUMMMMMMMMMM. Even my mother, who doesn’t like pasta or sauces, couldn’t get enough. The server was very nice and attentive, as well. This place was quite a nice surprise. Will definitely be returning.

Dined here tonight. Loved it! Clams appetizer was on par. Chix marsala… yum. Veal francese was as good as Arthur Ave. Nutella dessert was enough for four people. We’ll be back Sienna. Thank you! However… parking is limited. I can deal with that.

This was easily the worst dining experience I have ever had. First of all, the waitress was wearing a revealing tank top with tattoos showing and the owner was wearing a yellow polo. He looked completely clueless and awkwardly watching people as they ate. The establishment has a full walled mirror to give the effect of a room double the size when it’s really a tiny dining room. Due to this there was one family with a baby and the yells and cries were impossible to ignore. Next, the menu was very disappointing. I finally decided to settle with the pork chops. From the second we ordered, it took 50 minutes for the food to be delivered. The pork chops I ordered were horrendous. 60% fat and drenched in sauce. All of this for prices that are not even reasonable. When I spend hard earned money on eating out, I expect good service for the money I’m paying.

I liked the intimate feel, we were greeted warmly and at the end of the meal, the owner came over and asked us how everything was. He was a nice man but kind of awkward and everyone around us could hear, so I choose not to say anything negative in the restaurant. That being said, the service could be better. We got half full glasses of water and had to wait long periods of time to get the glasses refilled(there are maybe six tables in there and at least four waiters at one time). The bread and olive oil for the table was delightful. We ordered the Calamari which i was pleased to find perfectly crispy, but could use some more seasoning. The sauce was good with it, but definitely needed more for the amount of Calamari given. The presentation of the crab stuffed shrimp was lovely, and there were two options on the menu for sides, but both of the diners were only given the string beans(they were not asked about their preferences). The beans were great, the shrimp was reportedly tasty, but both of the diners got sick that evening(something was obviously not prepared well). The Chicken scarpariello was plentiful and the diner was pleased with the taste. I had the mussels with pasta. To be fair, i don’t eat pasta but thought the mussels would be cooked well enough to be worth the price. They were delicious, but i only got five mussels with bland pasta(i dont eat it anymore, but i know how it should taste). We asked to look at the dessert menu, but we were shown a plate of desserts that had obviously been out for hours and none of it looked appetizing. Had i not seen it, i might have tried the Tiramisu. After the owner came over, and we declined dessert, it still took a good 15 minutes until we got the check. I do not understand why our server looked so upset and unhelpful the whole time(I still tipped him the 20% which was already included, even though the check stated«gratuity not included”-sketchy) Also, the fact that there is a Valet service only for this place is weird. There are 10 parking spots outside and 20 people can barely fit inside. I tipped this guy to bring my car three feet to and fro. Overall, I might try it again with a party of two(and walk there) for the calamari or another appetizer with wine(the list of which we were not offered, but there are wine bottles on the walls?), but I would not come back for an overpriced, or undercooked entrée or any of the desserts. It seems like a restaurant where family members of the owner might enjoy for a family get together, but trying to charge me that much for poor quality and limited food is silly. I would rather spend the same money at any of the other restaurants in the area and get delicious Italian with better service.

A decent and cozy place near home. With a small Bar inside and a dining area. The place looks stunning with its murals painted in walls. The ambiance was pretty impressive. Neat and clean place. My first time to come here. We had the paint nite. The staff are very friendly and efficient. The service was impeccable. I was satisfied with the help they offered tonite. The finger food was good, it was appetizing while I was enjoying my painting. Well, a place definitely I’m gonna go back to. More paint nites on this site. Excellent service, having a great time and fun… There are Parking in front and at the back. So it’s not gonna be a problem. Overall experience. 4 star. I’ll be back in 2 weeks.

Our fish dishes and desert were tasty. Good service and friendly owner. 4⁄5 stars because the tomato sauce on the side dish didn’t really taste homemade, but somewhere I saw that it is, maybe I needed more salt? Otherwise, it was tasty and would deff come back!

Sometimes I think you can judge an Italian restaurant by its bread, red sauce, house wine, cappuccino and friendliness of the owner. And if that’s the case, Siena’s is five stars; all were outstanding. We had mussels fra diavlo as an appetizer, and chicken scarapiello and shrimp parm for our main courses. The mussels were fresh and tender, and the sauce was excellent. I have had chicken scarapiello at a number of restaurants, but this was by far the best. The shrimp parm was also very good. Note that for whatever reason, this restaurant only has three other reviews published. But if you scroll down(below where it says Page 1 of 1), you will find nine additional 5-star reviews that for whatever reason were not published by the Unilocal.Enjoy!

The ambiance of the restaurant was nice. Low-lit, small and the seating area is small and intimate. The staff was extremely friendly now the food itself was okay. Not bad by any means. The Salmon with the avocado would have been top notch if it was parmesan crusted because the salmon was light in flavor. The fried calamari was pretty good. If you are looking to a place to eat one night, you can’t go wrong with this place, just don’t expect to be blown away by anything but you will leave happy and full. But then again, this review is based on just one visit and one dinner entrée selection.

Coming from NYC it’s nice to see some good options on seamless. Ordered for delivery, came quick and chicken parmesan was delicious, can’t wait to try it fresh in the restaurant!

Affordable classic Italian restaurant with a new cozy neighborhood bar serving very good tasty food. Complimentary bread was steaming hot and baked fresh. Fried calamari appetizer was cooked rather well, was light and crisp with an exceptional homemade tomato sauce on the side. The grilled red snapper was plentiful topped with sun dried cherry tomatoes, olives, fresh basil, capers, and onions in a brown wine sauce was to say the least most pleasing to the palate. Hubby had a hefty portion of cavetelli pasta with broccoli rabe and crumpled traditional Italian sausage. Executive chef Nazzorino, was very kind and visited our table more than once to chat. His The wait staff exemplified genuine and exceptional service and had the most pleasing personality. Towards the end of the meal, we had the opportunity to meet the Executive Chef Nazzorino who was very kind visited our table more than once to chat and make sure that everything was up to par. All and all, we both had a pleasurable dining experience and would highly recommend Sienna as a casual Italian eatery in Westchester.
