No joke, this is my favorite bakery in New York. The conchas are my favorite. I know the owners personally and you couldn’t ask for nicer, more hardworking people. Great food and you’ll feel good about supporting a family owned, local business.

I ordered tacos and they were a bit in the dry side… It’s a very small place to walk around in. I did come back for a trés leches cake this weekend for a birthday girl

I bought a tres leche cake here which I highly recommend. A good size for $ 23 and also a good value. Very tasty. The cake was moist with chunks of fruit inside. The«topping» on the cake was 100% real whipped cream which is a rarity these days. All in all I was impressed by the quality and flavor and would definitely return. One of the better bakeries in Westchester.

You’ll need an iron will to make it to Sin Dulce, since it’s at the end of the 1 train, and then a bus ride away in Yonkers. If you make it, the effort will be rewarded with some of the most authentic Mexican street eats in the Big Apple. While a decent bakery in it’s own right, the food is amazing. The tortas, huaraches, and tacos are the real quality. For a little over $ 5 you get a heaping helping of your choice of meat(carne asada, pollo, al pastor, etc.) topped with beans, queso, avocado, lettuce, salsa, and salsitas. Amazingly good. There is also a full selection of baked goods, latino style, though they aren’t the best in the city. The digs are very simple and very small, but the food is worth the trip.
