Sky Fish Market

Love this little hole in the wall place. I have been going there for years. The fried shrimp and fries are my favorite! Super cheap but will leave you satisfied with your choice.

This place has really fresh fish compared to other places with reasonable prices. I mostly always buy the whiting fish sandwich or the fried shrimp which is the bomb. THE BEST. I usually order my food to go and they prep it really fast. I’m not a big seafood person but i would definitely recommend to anyone who loves seafood and dont forget to order crab sticks too!

My friends and family already know… if I ever get the chair, my last meal before I leave this earth will be from the «South Broadway fish market!!!
As a seafood fanatic, I have been to so many great seafood restaurants and tried everything! From crabs and oysters in City Island NY to spiny lobsters and conch in the Caribbean, nothing compares to my ghetto seafood platter for $ 6 at this fish market! Their oil is always fresh so you’re not eating a grease bucket. The whiting fish with whole wheat bread is so crunching and flavorful. The «crab sticks» and «scallops» aren’t actually what they seem to be but it’s good as heck (I think it’s pollack lol)! I’m not even a fan of rice and their rice is to die for. When you’re cold, have a side a seafood soup. It has a nice tomato base with bits and chunks of white fish. Try their steamed platters too if you’re on a diet. They have all the seasonings
The people are friendly there. They don’t speak a word of English but they have always been courteous. always, as in over 10 YEARS!
I recommend this place if you’re looking for a seafood fix!
«South Broadway Fish Market» is THE BEST PLACE EVER!!!

I went here today and ordered $ 27 worth of food, and I came out there with 4 huge boxes of food and soda and my family and I can EAT, and we still couldnt finish it.
The whiting fish sandwich, on whole wheat… crack. First of it’s like 2 flimsy pieces of bread, the equivalent to wonder bread which just holds 4 huge pieces of fish together. Just pretend to call it a sandwich, and it’ll make you feel better. Especially when you pour on the tartar sauce and hot sauce. YUM. Huge I tell you!
Or get the combination… It’s like $ 6.50 for some fish, scallops, crabstick, and shrimp and its still huge! And the breading is soo good, I drove about 30 mins with the plastic bag closed and the hot food steaming and I was thinking the fried goodness with be destroyed but it was still crunchy… it must be breaded with hard crack.
OH and they also have a fresh fish market, and when you walk in, it doesnt smell like the chinatown dead fish with flies throwing up all over it.
And there are seats inside where if u can’t wait u can eat inside there!

Two sides to the restaurant — fresh fish and cooked seafood. Great selection, friendly service, good prices.
If you go at the right time, you can get a great slice of fresh tuna.
I love their homemade seafood soup on the restaurant side, as well as quick easy fried seafoods.
