Cushner Michael, MD

Dr. Cushner has marvelous new offices at WestMed located at Ridge Hill in Yonkers and also has office hours in New Rochelle. If you go to Ridge Hill you’ll have to pay $ 3 for parking, but the office is right across the street from the parking lot.
Every doctor I’ve seen at WestMed to date have been awesome, but I am writing this review to sing the praises of one doctor in particular, Dr. Michael Cushner.
I cannot say enough wonderful things about Cushner! Not only is he an extremely talented Doctor, his caring and bedside manner is heartwarming and sincere! He’s always greets you with a great big smile and he is always in a good mood! Oh yeah and he’s got a killer sense of humor!
He’s managed to fix both my knees, not to mention other aches and pains. Dr. Cushner is an absolute gem! 5 stars is just not enough!
I’d also like to give a shout out to his staff. A talented great group of people! From the PA’s to the receptionist and everyone in between, they are all the kindest bunch of people!
Thank you all so very much for taking such great care of me! You all rock!

If you’re not interested in being examined but are interested in being handed over to a PA. on your followup visit then this guy is the one to see. I waited 50 minutes to see Dr. ‘God ’ who came into the room, told me that he had looked at the xrays of my knee and that I probably had a torn meniscus and needed a MRI… all this without examining the knee. Then for my followup, a PA came in, explained the results of the MRI and gave me a shot. Needless to say I never saw Dr. ‘I’m too busy to be bothered with you.’ I could have just gone to the
website. Next time I’ll just haul my backside down to the Hospital For Special Surgery or Roosevelt or NY Presbyterian, where they have real physicians. On a positive note, the PA Rick was wonderful.

Getting an appointment is impossible ! Office staff is NASTY and RUDE! He may be a good doctor but that does not help when his staff prevents you from changing appointments.

I am a past patient of Dr. Cushner and he treated several sports and weight lifting related injuries and he did likewise for my son. I am pleased that all of his treatments helped me (and my son) avoid surgery. His staff and his equipment and resources were excellent.
I highly recommend Dr. Cushner for anyone in the Westchester/​Bronx areas in need of an orthopedist.

I just love Dr. Cushner and his entire staff! He has helped myself and several friends thru a series of issue. He and his staff listen and take their time with you. You can also get an appointment pretty quickly. There is an imaging center and physical therapy right in the same building which are excellent as well. Although for PT I recommend Lawrence Hospital Rehab located in Elmsford.
