Came here a few times, always terribly noisy. Service is good and I always enjoy their strawberry lemonade

Sorry to say this was the worst experience I’ve had at a Chilis. They were understaffed(even though it wasn’t too busy) so I don’t really want to blame the server but pretty much everything stunk. 15 – 20 minutes for every request whether it was a drink, changing the tv station and food. We had a group of about 8 and pretty much everyone had an issue with the food. Mexican bowls didn’t have beans, even though the menu says it does and way under dressed. Quesadilla with only one slice of chicken. We all left saying it was a terrible experience.

I think a lot of these 90’s restaurants are going down the toilet. But, this particular Chilis seems to be doing WELL with their service and food. The décor needs to be updated to attract better patrons and for this area, they need a local craft beer menu! The wait staff is nice. The bar servers need to be a little more assertive about letting customers know when they have had enough to drink.

Had a wonderful lunch here last Sunday. It was perfect! Our food were delicious, they really up their game this time… I ordered the duo plate. which consists of chicken enchilada, I chose salad for 2nd item and of course it comes with rice and beans. For only 8 bucks! It was huge and beautiful plating and my sister had the mango tilapia I believe. .it was also delicious and daughter had chicken quesadilla. And I was able yo get a table with the view… no hassle! We had a gentleman for server. We enjoyed it!!!

So hit and miss. The La Habra location has much better food and consistent service. They give half portions here(their chicken is always much smaller than other locations) and servers are not attentive. It always feels chaotic here.

Update, this place is going downhill, waiter was rude blew off my wife when she requested her steak, food was bad, long story short I only tipped a dollar for bad service upon leaving I hear a loud sarcastic thank you from the back when the waiter saw his tip. I talked to the manager and am hoping he takes care of this problem. We will not be going back there.

My wife and I have been taking out from here lately. Specifically their 2 for $ 20 deal. Heres a quick review: Service A+ It seems like every time we order out we get the same guy ringing us up and getting everything together for us. I have to say that he is on point every single time! Not only does he have everything ready, but he really goes the extra mile to make the experience top notch. Thanks Chad! Food A+ The 2 for $ 20 deal is a pretty great bargain. You get 1 appetizer and 2 entrees. We are always happy with the quality. Thanks again!

I had the perfect dinner. Avocado sirloin was healthy and fabulous, cooked to perfection. Lisa“s hospitality and set ivied gave this restaurant an extra star. Lisa recommended a happy hour tropical sunrise that was a bowl of happiness. Bar patron Chris was very friendly and non intimidating, safe for woman, add an extra star. I’m a happy customer. Watched my fav tennis tourney while having my fab dinner.

I still like Chili’s, but we came here on a Saturday afternoon, and the service was beyond slow. Our server was attentive, and I admit we had a large party of 10, but it still took over 2 hours from start to finish.

Better than TGIFridays! Fridays doesn’t even compare. Food is way better. Came here on a Sunday night to use our gift cards gifted by friends. It was very busy. The bar area was packed, the dining area was packed with big groups, families and couples. To get the most out of our gc, we decided to try their $ 35 Dinner and Drink deal. You get 2 margaritas, 2 entrees, 1 appetizer and a dessert. That’s a lot of food. Can’t beat it! We had. –CHIPS and GUAC and SALSA for appetizer. Very tasty and it’s real avocados ^_^. Chips were hot and salted properly, but very thin. It kept breaking every time I scooped the guac. No biggie. –2MARGARITAS — They pour it table side. El Hubby drank both. He said it was good, but one had more alcohol than the other. –CHICKENCRISPERS for my entrée. It’s just breaded and fried chicken tenders doused in honey chipotle sauce. I like chicken and I like sweet food, so I enjoyed it. –BACONBURGER for El hubby’s entrée. Had lots of bacon, but the patty was a tad bit dry. –TRIPLEBERRYSKILLETCAKE– Butter cake in a cast iron skillet with crumble, triple berries and vanilla ice cream on top. It looked different in the menu. Butter cake could have been warmer, but delicious nonetheless. Our server was great, but our dessert took forever to come. Also, they need a sign in the receiving area that says«PLEASEWAITTOBESEATED» because there was no person to greet you at all. Overall, it was still a good experience. For the price we paid, the food was pretty good! I guess we will back again next year to use another gird card ^_^.

The worst service ever Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else ! From waiting to be seated to ordering waters to appetizers and main meal. No utensils No knife for a stake dinner and Frience bread came 30 minutes late. All waiters and waitresses are unprofessional. What happened to the old manager that ran this place ??? Food was cold when served ! Such a shame what has happened to this restaurant! Very disappointed ! Needs new management !!!

So I came to Chilis with friends after church. It was crowded in the lobby on this Sunday afternoon. I was told it would be a 30 minute wait. The wait was exactly 30 minutes. That was okay but the reason given for the wait was they didn’t schedule enough servers so there was complete section in the restaurant that was not seated by anyone. I think they should’ve anticipated the crowd. Next, we were seated by a very nice hostess. The server greeted us and brought our drinks. We asked for a few minutes to peruse the menu selections. We placed our order after 15 minutes being seated. We had to wait another 30 minutes to get our food. I ordered a soup with my food and the server waited to the rest of the food was ready before she gave it to me. This was very awkward for me because the table was so small and there was no room for all these extra bowls and plates. Now the food. I ordered the pick 3 Mexican selections: I chose the southwest soup, beef taco, and chicken quesadillas. The soup was fair, the chicken quesadillas were were dry and old. They had been sitting under a heat lamp for at least an hour. The beef taco came last which made no sense. It was disgusting! The meat looked questionable. You could’ve gotten a better taco from Del Taco. The server was very nice but it took her 15 minutes to realize I needed a refill on my water. Overall experience is a one star. The service was slow; the food was mediocre and I felt the dining experience could have been better.

Teetering between 3.5 — 4 stars. One Unilocaler said the food came out slow, and I have to agree. Even my tableside guacamole took a while… perhaps they had to pick the fruit from the tree? My friend wanted to watch the Anaheim Ducks game on tv, and didn’t want to go to a sports bar for pizza and wings(although that’s what I ended up having). He suggested coming to Chili’s and eat in the bar area. Sure, why not! I had not been to a Chili’s in like, 10 years. This Chili’s is located off Imperial Highway and Yorba Linda Boulevard, at the corner of a weirdly configured strip mall. The mall itself isn’t weirdly configured, but the parking lot was. If you’re lucky, you can find one of the handful of parking spots located in front of the restaurant. Otherwise, you have to go through a weird pattern to find a spot, or, figure out how to park below the restaurant(which I didn’t figure out until I walked up to the front door). Anyway, parking is weird, but there’s plenty of spaces if you’re willing to huff it… which I had to in frigid 45-degree California winter. The bar was located directly next to the hostess station, and there’s about 10 tv’s surrounding the bar area. We had the server change one of the tv’s near us to the Ducks game, and we started off our evening with some diet cokes and the«endless» basket of chips and salsa. Later, I added table-made guacamole to go with the chips, which were 3 halves of avocados, mixed with onions, limes, cilantro. tomatoes and jalapenos… later I added more salsa to give it more flavor. Overall, not bad at $ 7.99, and that also came with«bottomless» chips… and those chips were so addicting… we ate 2 baskets. Eventually we had to eat something more substantial. Karen ordered her usual«go to» bar item: the California flatbread pizza, but without the avocado as she’s allergic to it. I had the smoked chicken wings, and they were surprisingly good! They had a very good smokiness to it, and reminded me of the chicken you get at an Izakaya Japanese restaurant, where they cook the meats over charcoaled wood. Roger had the sirloin steak, and subbed his baked potato with extra veggies. He commented the meat was exceptionally tender, and he was surprised at how much he liked his meal, and it was priced reasonably at $ 11.99. Service was decent, I’ve had much better. We had to ask for refills, but the server brought them quickly after we asked. I would come back, now that I know there’s underground parking… and I’d sit at the bar area again.

After creating an account on I tried to order food online and was rejected 3 times. I got a message(see picture) indicating to call the restaurant to complete my order. I called 2 – 3 times and no answer! What a waste of time! So long for registering an account and earning loyalty rewards. On a separate occasion, when the website was actually working, I placed an order 30 minutes prior. Upon arriving at the restaurant, I was told by the host that my order was«cancelled» by someone who anonymously called in stating that an order was placed by mistake under my name. I’ve been patient with Chili’s, but after today, that’s it! Waste of time for mediocre food!

I came on my lunch hour and when I came in, the hostess was no where to be seen. It took me a couple minutes to be seated which already cuts into my one hour to order/receive/eat/get back to work time. The food was okay. Nothing extraordinary. I had the(lunch special) smoked chicken quesadilla that comes with fries(small portion) and the loaded baked potato soup. The meals come with fries but you get to pick the extra side(soup, salad, etc.). The quesadilla was average. There was chicken, peppers, onions, and cheese. Something that would not be difficult to make at home. I would not order it again because I don’t like paying for things that I feel that I can make myself. This lunch special was $ 7. Lunch specials start at $ 6 and can get up to $ 8 – 9.

So I have been back several times and I have to say that I’m somewhat shockingly surprised about how much I like this place. As I have mentioned before, I tend to like these places more than Gastropub’s– I like a relatable menu and consistency. this location so far has been one of the best I’ve been to as far as good food and service — consistently great. I also started doing the takeout option and was kind of blown away by how easy and convenient it was. The food is ready each time I show up, it’s well packaged, and the order has been right each time. Now I know that that is the normal expectation, but I think we all know that usually things like that don’t happen. If you are in the area you should definitely check this place out if this is the type of meal you’re looking for — and try to take out option.

Horrible service by «host» who was probably manager. We walked in, and no one was there to accommodate us. A guy, I’m guessing the manager, finally comes up to us after fifteen minutes, and asks us how many. We tell him seven, and he goes and sets up the table and leaves saying he needs to get something. I come back from the bathroom to see that my party is still sitting at the bench waiting, but instead I see that another family has been seated where we were supposed to sit. Apparent miscommunication, another waiter sat a family of four down where the other guy had started to set up our table. Seriously? Bartender comes and seats another family who was here after us. Wellp, another five minutes of waiting. Finally seated. Compared to the horrible service prior to getting seated, waitress was very nice. She was friendly, and would check up on us every few minutes to make sure we were having a pleasant time. Food was good, just like any other Chili’s. tl;dr: everything was good except the«manager.» ONE star if this were a review only for him.

You’ll only find me at Chili’s if I have a gift card from someone. So that’s how we got here. I have to give this location credit for OUTSTANDING customer service, from hosts to wait staff. They were all so nice. If this review was based strictly on staff, they would score a 5. Unfortunately, food readiness was slow. Maybe the cooks were overwhelmed, it being the day after Christmas; or maybe they were under staffed in the kitchen. Had we not skipped appetizers(like tortilla chips or soup/salad) we may have received food quicker. The fajita trio came out sizzling(as usual) but my guacamole burger, was room temperature and not adequately hot. Fries were neatly packed into this mini fryer looking container. Desserts were great, the molten lava choc cake is always a fave along with the skillet choc chip cookie w/vanilla ice cream. Love the DIY, interactive menu gizmo at the edge of your table. It’s convenient and super high tech! If food was churned out faster, I’d be back.
