Condol’s Environmental Services

Recently we needed to select a mold inspection company to come visit our business. We wanted to select a mold service that had extensive experience using state of the art detection technology. We contacted Condol’s Enviornmental based upon their track record and Unilocal reviews. One first contact exceeded our expectations. Davie was friendly and informative on the phone explaining in detail what the process was for mold detection. He visited our business quickly and was professional and precise as he captured air samples. Within two days we received our detailed lab report. Very professional, punctual, and we highly recommend them!

This review is almost a year late. Davie provided an excellent, thorough and complete inspection of our condo during escrow. We were concerned with possible mold problems under the bathroom sink and he checked it out closely and found evidence of previous water damage but no mold. Three months later we called Davie again because we were concernd with severe allergy issues with our daughter which we thought were caused by mold or moisture in the same area. He was nice enough to make another trip and check out the same sink and other areas but still was not able to detect mold. We narrowed it down to allergies due to outside vegetation. I would definutely call Condol Environmental for future inspections.

I found Condols through reviews from Unilocal and Davies work did not disappoint. We just bought a new house and have been experiencing numerous issues since we moved in. I wanted piece of mind and Davie gave me just that when doing the mold inspection. He did a thorough inspection of all area in my house, the attic, outside, and a/​c unit. He did not try to sell me on any other testing and reassured me that there is no mold in my home. He answered all of my questions and took time to make sure I was satisfied. Great experience.

While preparing for my son to arrive, I began remodeling his room and sanded the walls before painting. I was afraid some of the lower layers of paint had some lead in it. I also was concerned about some old popcorn from the ceiling that had fell behind a shelf in the closet (possibly asbestos) after the old ceiling was scraped.
So I called Davie.
Awesome guy, awesome work. He came out and tested the paint and the popcorn. Good news — no lead, but bad news –asbestos in the popcorn.
But boy what a relief just to know what was a problem and what wasn’t. Davie was extremely professional. His post inspection report was incredibly thorough, detailed, and well presented.
He really takes pride in his work and it shows. Being a new parent can be unnerving, but having professionals like Mr. Condol around to help you figure things out is truly a relief. I would definitely use Davie again, and will recommend him to any friends and family that need the services he provides.

I called one morning when I went to get my baby out of bed and noticed mold on the wall. I freaked out a little because it was the babies room and called right away and left a message. Davie returned my call quickly and came out to see the mold that same day on his way home. Turned out it was nothing but regular mold from extra moisture and I had nothing to worry about. He said I just needed to wipe it down with bleach water and it would be fine. What great customer service! I am so thankful for his promptness and Honesty!

I am so thankful that I used an expert for my mold inspection today. He came out promptly for my inspection and did a thorough job assessing the damages. I have never done a Unilocal review, but because he went out of his way to take care of my situation, I feel compelled to do so. I have already referred him to another friend.

We are under contract on a town home built just prior to the ban on asbestos and has acoustic ceilings. My wife and I wanted to get them tested before we decided to move forward on the purchase. After reading other Unilocal reviews, we contacted Davie and were able to get an appointment for the very next morning. Once the lab results came back positive, we received a detailed report and Davie even reached out to answer any questions we may have had (which we did). We really appreciated knowing for sure that there is asbestos and we can now move on to abatement strategies.

I am usually lazy with writing reviews. But I am so glad and grateful to have found Davie at Unilocal to check the lead in paint in the potential house we are buying. He is not only professional in what he does, he also went beyond and pointed out a possible major issue in the house structure. Our home inspector actually missed that important part. But Davie pointed it out to me and highly recommended us to find a structural engineer to check. It turned out that Davie is right. He saved us at least $ 10,000 cost that we could be faced without knowing about the structural problem before closing escrow. Davie is such a kind hearted person that truly wants to help you!

My wife and I purchased a new property in Costa Mesa and after we gutted the entire kitchen, we found out there were substantial amount of black toxic molds all over our kitchen walls. Davie is friendly and professional. He came in did the inspection and resolved the mold issue in our home. With small children in the house it’s important to make sure you live and breathe in a healthy environment.

Our situation was critical, and after finding Condol’s on the internet, with excellent reviews on Unilocal (now I know why! :))), I called Davie, and he offered to come out on a Sunday for us. We opted for Tuesday because I didn’t want to make someone work on a Sunday. He arrived promptly (putting on protective booties before entering our home), gathered the info from us that he needed, explained to us what he was doing, and performed a thorough inspection and testing. We felt very comfortable that we had made the right choice with Condol’s.
After receiving the mold reports only two days later, Davie explained everything to us, and we knew exactly what needed to be done. We even had Davie come back out for the clearance testing.
