I’ve been coming here for a few years now and really love it. The pharmacy is fantastic. The pharmacist, Victoria, and her staff are incredibly friendly and go above and beyond to help you out. If you’ve been thinking of switching pharmacies or looking for a new one, this is the place.

Lets be real people… I only come here for the Thriftys ice cream by the cone. I wish they took care of the ice cream parlor a bit better. Something about seeing things half full, chunks of ice cream flopped down to the bottom of the display and rainbow sherbet mix in with the rocky road or pistachio because they didn’t clean the scoop or the water well enough is a bit of a turn off.

This has been the worst experience I’ve ever had at a rite aid. So basically rite aid called me in because a product I had bought was recalled(dr Jekyll pre workout). I proceeded to return the item because I had stopped using it and they said I would get refunded for it. The transaction for the recall was simple and quick; I received a gift card for $ 32. However, maybe 2 weeks later, I come in and try to use the card and it has $ 0 on it. The manager said that I had to call rite aid customer service to try and fix the problem. Basically, the another sales manager named JUAN bamboozled me out of $ 32 and gave me no receipt and a useless piece of plastic. Needless to say I will report JUAN and complain that no manager should ever make this mistake and cause such a hassle for his customer. I do believe it was on purpose as well, in order to recall the product and at the same time not lose any money. In summary, JUAN is a terrible sales manager making this my worst experience with rite aid.

Stopped by over the weekend to get a few remaining Halloween items. Great clearance items left at a great price

Waited 12 minutes on Hold the first call, 2 minutes the next call. But I am persistent so FINALLY was able to speak with Juan the manager. No apology from Juan about the wait the first time, apparently the ‘new’ gal that answered the general questions either did not tell Juan this or he did not care. It was 1 small general question that the new gal could not answer and needed to get a manager to answer. Great training or great service? Nope. Thanks Juan and New Girl.

I just walked out of this Rite Aid for the last time unless I am there for ice cream. I use their pharmacy quite often since I have a daughter with health issues. The older man that works there is with worst. Such a jerk. Makes me feel like I am bothering him. I cringe when I see him working. Just now I walked in waited in line only to be told it was the lunch hour and to come back in an hour. It’s 1pm! I understand that you get a lunch but it is also inconvenient to me as well. My time is just as valuable as yours. Clearly you can break each other for lunch. I’m done. There is enough CVS and Walgreens around that won’t treat me like I am a problem.

I usually just come here for the thrifty ice cream. There is hardly any customer service so Do not expect any! All the employees seem very unhappy when they are working but they are all human so I still treat them with respect. So if your in this area… go there and scream I want some ice cream and someone will be there eventually

My friends and I stopped by to buy some glue sticks, which were priced at $ 3. During checkout, the lady at the register asked if I had the Rite Aid Wellness card. When I answered no, she looked back meaningfully and asked if I wanted to try a phone number. Jasmine Y. put in her home phone number, and the price of the glue sticks ended up being cut in half. Woohoo! The employees here are great. :D Other than that, it’s a typical Rite Aid.

Cheap X-mas crap post season(some good buys) and of course, the ubiquitous Chocolate Malted Crunch ice cream– proof that there is a God and he likes us. The staff can be a bit surly at times but hey, I would be too if I had to work here.

They have good drugs and ice cream. Seriously they have a good assortment of drug store items. The primary reason for going here is for ice cream after Bari Bari!

Although Rite Aide is known for being a pharmacy, there’s only ONE reason why I come here — ICECREAM! I have been devouring Thrifty’s ice cream(they were bought out by Rite Aide many years ago, but they have still retained the signature Thrifty’s name) since I could walk. It is seriously THE best ice cream around and it is super affordable too! You can get 1, 2, or 3 scoops on either a sugar, waffle, or regular cone. Thrifty’s definitely makes the best rocky road ice cream because they add tons of nuts, plenty of marshmallows, and their chocolate is delicious! I also think they have the best mint ‘n chip — most other brands make white mint ‘n chip ice cream, which is just not the same… it’s way too peppermint flavored! But Thrifty’s adds just the right hint of mint, along with tons of little chocolate chips; again, this is where they differ from other ice cream businesses, who typically use chocolate shavings or chunks instead! Come to think of it, all their flavors are good… black cherry, medieval madness, rainbow sherbert, cookies and cream, etc! If you want to save money, they usually sell their cartons for $ 2.50/each, when they’re on sale; otherwise, they’re usually around $ 3.00/each. I am taking one star away because they don’t always have employees running the ice cream area, so you have to wait… and overall, the store is kind of old school.

Oh Rite Aid, how can anyone dislike you? Where else can you get a scoop or two of beautiful, scrumptious, affordable Thrifty’s ice cream? Go black cherry!
