Brought my 6 month old yorkie mix for his very first grooming session. The staff was very sweet and knowledgeable, he looks amazing and smells great! I will definitely be bringing my little Maximus back!

Can’t go wrong with bringing your pets here. Brought our Lady in September and today we brought in her brother Luke. He can be a bit stubborn, but with their love and care he did fine. He looks so handsome. We will be back again!

Thank you for taking our over grown cockapoo and transforming her into a beauty! She was more then a little nervous, but handled things well. Thank you again!

I cannot stress enough how much I love this place! I started taking my dog here about 7 months ago and I will not be going anywhere else. Everyone is so kind and gentle with my dog when I drop him off. He gets a little scared going in but leaves happy and clean each time. Also they are a grooming school so you can always get a lower rate if you request a student to groom your dog. My dog always looks great when he leaves and smells heavenly! Love love love this place!

Love them. My Yorkie is not the friendliest puppy in the world, showing clear signs of small dog syndrome, so it’s been a relieve for me that every time when I picked up my dog, they would tell me he had behaved nicely with the staff. Plus, don’t need to schedule a bath one week in advance as some other groomer may require.

I love the styling pet academy! I take my dog in for the student grooming and she looks beautiful every time! The price is right for a college student too! I have a 70lb golden doodle and they only charge $ 50 for a full grooming! That’s an amazing price for that size!
Student grooming takes about 4 – 5 hours so it’s best to take your pet in right when they open!

When I came in for the first time few years ago my dog was scared of every groomer and wouldn’t let anybody trim her nails but at my surprise they did it with no problem :) the owner and groomer sang to her while trimming her nails it was so funny and cute at the same time but she let them trim her nails yay:) and so we started coming for the nails here and my dog was getting better and better each time

We love the SPAW!!! We took our dog Roxy there for the last couple years of her life. She was 14 and very sensitive to sounds. They always went out if their way to be gentle and take their time with her, letting her hang out and air dry when needed, which we greatly appreciated.
We just took our new standard poodle puppy, Rita, there for her first grooming. Prior to bringing her in we had stopped by with her to discuss how she would be groomed and ask numerous questions, being our first poodle. Chris gave us lots of information and held Rita, getting her used to the facility. Chris also has poodles of her own, another bonus!
Rita looks beautiful!!! They were gentle with her and played «pass the puppy» to make her experience positive and get her acclimated to being groomed. We can’t be happier with our SPAW experiences!

Just had our Labradoodle groomed here and am very pleased with the service, price and cut. After several bad experiences at other local groomers, I was a little nervous going to a school but I thought I’d give it a try. I liked that they have an appointment system. I dropped off our dog at 11:00 and he was ready at 3:00, which was the estimated time they told me. (OTHER groomers have all the dogs dropped off at the same time in the morning and it would sometimes take 9 hours before I was called to pick him up. I would have to call to get an update. I believe my dog probably sat in a kennel for hours at the OTHER groomers waiting his turn.) I’m also happy because my dog was happy when I picked him up! He wasn’t stressed and didn’t have to pee or run to his water bowl when we got home, so it seems they really care for the animals too. I’ll be going back for sure! This is our new groomer!

Lily really needed to be groomed and they welcomed her with smiles and open arms. I did call to book an appointment for her and they happened to have an opening the very next day. It is a very friendly environment. Lily looks and smells amazing!

Took my female golden for grooming this weekend and she looks so good. She was a little nervous when I dropped her off but when I picked her up it seemed like she didn’t want to leave. My wife loved the work so much that she booked a future appointment for our male golden. Great job and awesome price.

BEST Groomers EVER!
My dog «Ella» had been going to the groomer all her life with no issues.
I tried a few others when I moved to the area and had to drag her in the door… Not at SPAW.

I usually take my dogs to Petsmart but since they were full… I decided to try a new groomer. So glad I did! They were so polite & great with my dogs. I definitely didn’t feel I was dealing with amateurs in any way.
I have a Bouvier & a Yorkshire terrier — they did a fantastic job grooming them both & haircuts matched breed styles perfectly. Particularly with a Bouvier it’s not uncommon to have her come back with some weird sheepdog look!
On top of everything, they were cheaper than Petsmart & other places I’ve tried.
Overall, professional, great groom-​stylists, & lower priced than most groomers. I will definitely be back.

I took my Cockapoo rescue dog here for his first grooming after the pound. He is unrecognizable (in a good way, haha)! He went from being a shaggy mutt to being a poodle-​esque certified froo froo pet. They carefully bathed him, cut his hair and trimmed his nails. He was full of flea dander, filth and knots, and he came out soft, spotless and white!
They were also very good about communicating time — they called me to give me a fifteen minute heads up time when he was about done. They were very knowledgeable and gave me some advice about his care. They transformed my pet for a mere $ 31.50. I will definitely make this my regular grooming spot for our beloved Jackson. :)
P. S. The girls were extremely friendly and helpful. And did I mention they’re cheap!!! :)

But the instructors seriously need to change.
I was promised a discount with my next grooming service because one of his previous grooming appts didn’t go as planned, but they didnt honor it.
They pretty much got mad at me saying that i didn’t appreciate their work and was refused service for future student grooming and instead go with professional grooming. I would’ve been fine with it, if they let me talk, but the more bad service I got, the more i thought… with that kind of customer service, i wouldn’t want to go back anyways.

Booked one of my dogs last minute who is a golden lab/​golden shepard mix. They agreed to see him within 30 mins.
He was bathed and groomed just in two hours and cost ten dollars less than pet smart, but did a much better job!

I attended the Styling Pet Academy as a student and I know that I received the best education out there. Not only did I learn how to groom every breed of dog, I learned how to do creative styling for pets to add something extra to their groom.
We learned anatomy of the dog, animal behavior, and we became CPR and First Aid certified. We were also required to complete an internship and the school is a working salon so we learned a lot about the aspects of working and running a shop.
I now own my own business with my mom and it’s all thanks to the amazing people at Styling Pet Academy.
Anyone who is looking to attend grooming school or take their dog to get an amazing groom, Styling Pet Academy is the best place to go!

The SPAW is a great place to take your dog for professional grooming. The groomers are top notch and care about your pet like they are your own.
